I’m not quite sure if I just forgot to drink my coffee this morning (OK maybe that’s an excuse)… either way I don’t think I did a great job of explaining exactly what Jasmere.com is. I ended up getting quite a few emails with questions, so I’m going to try and answer those right now. Here goes…

Jasmere seeks out lesser-known specialty retailers that deserve national attention. Lots of these companies have a limited budget for advertising, this is where Jasmere steps in. They don’t charge a dime for the national exposure, but just ask the merchant to provide an unheard of discount to Jasmere customers. Once they find a merchant to work with, Jasmere negotiates exclusive discounts with them.

For 24 hours you can get in on one amazing and it gets even better when MORE people order. You see, when you make an order, you are guaranteed in on today’s offer, but your credit card is not yet charged (not until the 24 hours are up). …And the best part is that the price will drop lower and lower if more and more people order!

As you may know from reading my previous post, today’s offer is for a $50 BabyStar.com Gift Voucher. This voucher is currently priced at just $18 (which has dropped from the $22 starting price)! Now remember, the more of us that order the lower it will go!

Here’s a recap of how the gift voucher works:

*Vouchers will be delivered via email shortly after noon Eastern on Thursday; please allow an additional 24 hours for your code to be activated in the merchant’s system

*This is a single-use voucher and leftover value (if any) will not be retained by user

*You can purchase multiple vouchers, and they can be combined upon request to babystar

* Vouchers CAN be applied to shipping (babystar offers $9.95 flat rate shipping), but not to applicable taxes;

Has anyone used this before? I hate to give my debit card #’s without knowing them….

  2. Christie Funkhouser

I have a question, If I buy this can I buy more than one item with voucher?

    • Elizabeth

I think you can buy more than one item, but make sure that your total is $50 or more because you can only use the voucher one time, so if you bought items totalling $30+9.95 shipping, you’d lose the other $10 on the voucher. If that makes sense.

  3. Jill

Well, $22 was too pricey for me. But $18? And possibly lower? I’m in! Ha ha!

  4. Jill

Can you use more than one voucher on a purchase? If I purchased 2 vouchers, then an item over $100 at babystar, could I use both vouchers?

  5. Marissa

Does anyone know if we lock in at the price, or does the new price apply to everyone as it gets lower? For example, will those who signed up when it was $22 still have to pay $22 even though people signing up now are paying $18, or will the people who originally signed up get to pay $18?

    • anonymous

i think she said $18 since your card is not charged til the end of the day.

  6. Leighann

The stuff on that site is EXPENSIVE!

    • Brandy

I agree. It seems to me that if you can only use one voucher per order that it ‘might’ make a <50 item more reasonable or same price as you could buy similar item in a less expensive store. And, for the more expensive items it isn't worth it. But nice idea! Like anything – have to wait for the right store and right deal to make it worth it.

      • Christina

I agree!!! And I didn’t think any of it was really all that cute. I will save my money for the Children’s Place sales or Kohls. 🙂

  7. Betsy

Is anyone else worried that we’re all going to order these vouchers and they’ll run out of the good stuff before we all get to redeeming them?

  8. Megan

You have until August to use it 😀

  9. Amy M

I’m in… Hope the price goes lower.

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The stuff on that website is mostly that ridiculous, expensive, organic garbage. thanks! but, no thanks!

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If you were planning to buy from there already it totally makes sense; but it’s way too rich for my blood. For $18 I can make a whole gift basket of great goodies for a new mom, rather than 1 blanket and a onesie..if that!

    • Kaitlin

you dont get only $18 your paying $18 for a $50 gift card so if you were to buy say 4 of the mini blankets you are essentially only payin like 4.50 per blanket for a very high quality(and cute) blanket!

      • Christina

Just because it’s really expensive doesn’t mean it’s high quality… just saying. 🙂 Sometimes the “cheaper” stuff is better made and holds up better than the trendy new stuff.

  12. Kaitlin

woo it ended at 18!! just waiting for the e-mail with the voucher!

  13. Kaitlin

hey yall if you also add the code star20 during checkout at babystar.com you get 20% off!

    • Shelley

I tried using the star20 coupon code tonight and unfortunately you can’t use that code with the voucher. Bummer!

  14. kristin m

Sooo…I got my email from jasmere – how do I shop??? 🙂 I am not seeing a special code in the email. Help!!!

    • Kaitlin

They havnt gotten em yet. Babystar is activating them before sending them out, we should get them within the next hour or so!

      • kristy

Still do not have anything from them with a voucher code?? Anyone else?

        • Kaitlin

just got mine but im not sure how to use it! They say put it in the promo code box but nothing happened. do we still have to put our credit card information in there??

  15. Stephanie Werner

Haven’t gotten my voucher yet… once someone does, will they post about it? I’ve received 2 emails from Jasmere so far, confirming my order & credit card charges, but it doesn’t look like the actual voucher is available yet?

  16. Kaitlin

okay!! Babystar is having problems with some of the voucher codes so if it isnt going through and you dont see your code activated and it still says that its going to charge you the $50 or what not give them a call ASAP and they will write down your info and pull the products that you want! They are selling out of stuff very fast so call now if you are having problems!!

  17. kristin m

OMG! OMG!!! I just called & spoke to Karen….I have to say she is the nicest person ever!!!! They are having techinical difficulties b/c of all of the new orders coming in but they took all of my info & set my items aside for when it is back up! She is super nice just a little overwhelmed! But be patient with her…she is a doll!!!

    • Kaitlin

agreed! she is the nices person to call when your having problems ordering lol most people would be soo rude!! Itwas so nice of them to set our stuff aside for us and she reassured me that she would call tomorrow and let me know what was going on!

  18. Kristen

I didn’t get my code emailed to me until 8:52pm eastern time, so by the time I went to check out and noticed the promotional code didn’t work it was past their open hours. I’m afraid by tomorrow when there is someone to talk to there won’t be any of the items i’m looking for left. I sent an email to them with the list of the items I was trying to order and explained what happened. I’m hopign they will be able to set aside the items, but sounds like they are overwhelmed, so i’ll just wait and see what can happen in the AM. Such cute stuff though, can’t wait to give these items as gifts!

  19. Kaitlin

I noticed that this morning all the prices were raised. I am wondering if the people who tried to order last night and had to have their stuff set aside if they are going to give us the price from last night… i hope so!

  20. Dawn

ok how do you do this
