Shame on those who took multiples. Why is it when there is a free item, people go nuts? It’s great to get an awesome deal, but why not share the wealth?! Tell someone else about the great offer… instead of taking 4. Sad…..

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

ohh yeah…share the wealth………you must be a democrat

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Seriously?? There were 20,000 of these given away…20,000! I’m sure out of that many there were TONS of people that printed multiples. Why take it out on people who are on this site? I feel your comments are rude & unnecessary, and people don’t come on here to be reprimanded.

Then skip over the comment. You don’t have to read it. 🙂

    gone… dang.

Thank you to some who took more than one. On a farm we go through these like crazy. One for my husband for Father’s Day would have been a nice figt…perhaps you’d like to host a giveaway and give your extras you printed to those who didn’t get a shot?

    • Margie

      *gift

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      NOT! And I printed 4 !!

    Deal is dead.

I can’t believe all of you waste your time complaining about people, who got to enjoy this deal before you got to it. First of all, your complaints will not change anything. Second, this web site is probably 1% of all those who jumped on this offer since it was available all over the internet. Third, so what if they were lucky enough to get more than one….be happy for them. Maybe they will keep one and give one to both sets of parents? or donate? don’t just jump to conclusions that everyone has eviln, selfish intentions. We all get some freebies and miss out on some. That’s how this game is played!!!

    • Brianna

      Agreed. 🙂

      Thank you! Well said.

I took mine to the lowes and they could not het the coupon to work. They are checking into it and I am stopping by later to hopefully pick it up. Did anyone else have trouble using it?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I had a problem with mine as well. The cashier first scanned the knife and then the coupon. The coupon wouldn’t scan so she typed in the number but my total was still $9.56 or something like that (I wasn’t purchasing anything else). She ended up calling the manager who hadn’t heard of the offer and couldn’t figure it out either. They tried searching their intranet with no luck. The manager finally called someone else, but still couldn’t come up with an answer. She ultimately told the cashier to just “penny it out” and they’d look into it later. The cashier decided to manually type in the item code and then the coupon code and it FINALLY worked!!! I was worried they thought I was trying to cheat them with the coupon or something, so I’m glad she finally got it to work.

    deal over 🙁

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

THANKS, I was able to pick mine up today!!! Mu husband has this tool and loves it, hope my Dad will enjoy one too..this will be his Father’s Day Gift! My coupon went through fine, however the cashier did punch in the numbers and not scan it.

Same here. I kind of figured (w/o having read the comment section after printing) that there might be problems with finding which specific tool the coupon was good for and checking out since it’s a freebie. So, I went STRAIGHT to customer service when we got to the store, and they had no clue about the deal, so they had the head of the tool department come over. He also hadn’t heard of it, but took me to where they were, figured out which one the coupon was for (there are also more expensive packs that were like $14 and up) and then rang me up himself. When he tried scanning the coupon it didn’t work, but he manually typed the number in and then I think he clicked through a couple of boxes that popped up on his screen. This sucker was like $9 before the coupon – and I didn’t even have to pay tax. 🙂 My other one just busted, so this was great timing; thankful for the deal – sad that some people went overboard with it and others got left out though.

    I won a $10 off a $50 purchase…which is awesome considering that we’re there at least several times a week 🙂

  10. AM

It worked like a charm. We picked up two of them today, the barcode scanned, no issues, not even tax.

my printer is not working…I didn’t know that the coupon needed t be printed right away. I was hoping to print it at work in the morning. Any ideas how I can pull up the coupon from another computer?

Thanks so much for this great offer!

Awesome! I picked mine up today also. The cashier did have to manually type in the code and I didn’t pay a penny. Thanks for sharing this deal!!!

This is not the only site there are other blogs. All the nasty negative comments are not called for.

  15. Candace

Printed my coupon yesterday and got it this morning…can’t wait to wrap it up (and then tell him it was free…in my opinion that makes it even better:)

  16. mary

did anyone print more than one copy when they printed, and if so, did they try to redeem it, or is it a unique code that only works once?

  17. Valerie

I printed 2 copies. One is for husband and the other for dear sons. They both had unique codes.

  18. Utility Knife

I’ll still be sure to buy one of these even if the contest is expired.

  19. Glen Richard

How do I get the coupon for the utility knife.z
