Thanks so much, my dogs love treats that I give them.
I love free dog treats. Recently, I was in the hospital. One of my daughters went to my home to feed, water, and check on my dog. She came back, and said that she gave “Paris” some of the doggie treats that came in the mail.
A couple days later, I was out of the hospital, and looked all over for the rest of the “dog treats” that had came in the mail…
There was a package of cookies sitting on the counter, opened. My roomie had come home, during my hospital stay, and I thought those were his. After looking high and low though, I went back to those cookies on the counter. Hmmmmmm, the Three Dog Bakery, and Dog Bone insignias, should have been a clue, as well as the pictures on the back. Never mind the “Give as a reward or as a treat”. I laughed.
I then waited until Roomie had eaten all but ONE cookie. “Can I give this one to Paris?”. Roomie: “don’t you dare give that fat arse dog MY LAST cookie”! I stifled giggling, and said, “but Paris would share with YOU”. He promptly ate that last cookie.
Then I showed him the package, once he downed that last cookie, refusing to share. I admit that I was doubled over laughing. Hey, laughter is good medicine, right? And then he swore that he spent the next 2 days on the toilet. LOL
Hmmm, after giving Paris some of these, I’m thinkin’ that maybe I could put the rest into a meatloaf….
My hubby snatched them up….he had not been bad so I rescued him with OREO’s. 😉

Those cookies smelt really good! They didn’t stink like normal dog treats! I was half tempted to try one myself! haha! My dog loved them!

I sent some to my mom’s house for her dogs and my mom had opened them and given her dogs some and then left them out on the counter. My Dad come home and saw them sitting there and being one that cannot resist a sweet treat, he ate a whole row! My mom called me later and told me what had happened and I fell on the floor laughing! We also told my brother whom I had also sent a package to, and knowing full well they were dog cookies and knowing my dad had MISTAKENLY ate them, my brother said he tried them and that they were really good so he too ate them! OMG what is wrong with the men in my family?????

I actually got another package of them, sent to my daughter’s home, shortly after Roomie ate the whole first package. It got funnier, as every time I gave Paris a cookie from the second package, I’d ask Roomie, “do you want one”? giggling. He’d gruffly say, “hell no”. then I’d laugh, and say, BUT PARIS IS WILLING TO SHARE WITH YOU!” 😉
I swear he did eat some of them though, because they disappeared way too fast, and I know that I only gave Paris a couple cookies a day! LOL
This one ranks up there with me painting his fingernails years ago. We are platonic room mates, and he’s kind of like a pain in the rump brother. Years ago, he let his fingernails get somewhat long. That grosses me out. I kept telling him, that I was going to paint them, so they’d really look “purty”, if he didn’t cut them soon.
LMAO. I finally did. He was asleep, and I took his hand, placed it on my thigh, and kept freezing up every time he moved, or breathed differently…then I’d paint another nail. A beautiful, bright red. 🙂 When he woke up, and went to the bathroom, I finally heard screaming, as he was urinating. I’m laughing just remembering…
I gave him the polish remover, but the nails were still a slight pink for over a week!
