Here is a link for the magic scotch tape for Target, .50 off .50 = free: https://www.scotchbrand.com/3MContentRetrievalAPI/BlobServlet?locale=en_WW&lmd=1272657605000&assetId=1180617799221&assetType=MMM_Image&blobAttribute=ImageFile
I don’t think that is the correct kind of tape product and coupon together–I might be wrong. The tape at Target is not like the coupon tape.
Be careful when using the scotch tape 1/3 coupon. When the cashier scans it in it rings up as only a .50 off not $1. Target is real bad about this type of thing.
That happened to me this morning, but my nice cashier adjusted the coupon..
They do this all the time. Be careful. I called and emailed corporate and they stated that sometimes the computer will readjust a sell price to use a coupon and that the coupon will only go up to the highest value of the items.
This is exactly what happened to me today at Target. I ended up getting my 6 rolls of tape for only $1.00 however I felt like a cheap person sorta of fighting for what my coupon stated.
The tape is also on sale at CVS. 3/$2.
This happened to me and my cashier nor I caught! I realized it when I got home and was logging my purchase in my spreadsheet! UGHHHH! Oh well, it was still cheap tape to stock up on. 😉
Love these school/office supply deals. I am planning on making my son’s new teacher a happy camper!!! Thanks, Collin!!!!!
WALMART WOULD NOT TAKE COUPON BECAUSE IT’S PRINTABLE FRAUD FROM FAWCETT DEL RIO, TX!
This coupon is NOT fraud. It’s coming directly from the manufacturer’s website.
The Walmart in Noblesville, IN gave me a hard time too. They did take one, but that was it. Very frustrating. Now I remember why I hate Walmart.
and watch closely at target.. x/3 and x/2 tend to only take off the value for 1, so I am assuming only 50 will come off the tape coupon!
Kim, that is exactly what happened to me …. the 2nd coupon was only good for .50 cents even though it stated $1. Thanks for mentioning!
That happened to me, but they changed it to $1 manually.
haha just came from target this morning. This happened with my coupon. Only took off .50. She called her supervisor over and they told me well thats what the computer rings it as so thats what it is. We can’t change it. Then she tried to tell me she can’t manually enter it cuz they only get .50 from manufactuer. LOL Also told me that they can’t do it cuz it will end up as 2 free items. Well I got my post-its for free though!! I gave up and said take the tape off. I knew I should have waited till tomorrow when the good cashier I like to go to is there!!
That is what happened to me today. I sorta fought (nicely) for the full value of the coupon. There is NOTHING posted in Target stating that the value of your coupon will be adjusted by the computer if it feels (not that the computer can feel anything) that the coupon is valued higher the the actual price of what you are buying. I couldn’t understand this because the coupon is for a $1.00 off 3 (which is what you have to buy in accordance to the coupon) so your final cost is still more then $0.00. Anyway, don’t let it slide. Ask for a manager;-)
the post it coupon comes right from their websit, click through if you aren’t sure. so it isn’t fraud. I am always suspicious of PDF q’s though, as I am sure stores are!
Walmart here in Missouri took the Post-It coupon no problems. I love free Post-It!
Did Wal-Mart do a price match or are their Post-Its on sale for $1 too? Thanks!
The post it coupon came right from teh website. I got it when I signed up for the free sample. At the end it asks if you’d like to print your coupon now. When you click on it this PDF pops up.
I too am usually very wary of PDF coupons but htis one is actually legit.
sorry, does anyone know if wal-mart would price match the tape?
My target has become a nightmare and prefer to go to Wal-mart for stuff like this (just wish it wasn’t so inconvenient to get too).
Thanks
yes, walmart price matches
I printed the pdf and there are all kinds of weird numbers and letters everywhere. Anyone else have that problem?
Now it worked, odd
I went to Target and they had NONE of the Post-It Notes for $1 … said they didn’t even get them. Bummer!!!
I could not find them either. I found some like the ones in the ad, but they were marked 2.20??? I dont know
I found them in their “back to school” section. Not with the regular post-its.
I looked on the regular Post-It aisle and in the Back to School section … nothing. I also talked to 3 different people .. the last lady finally knew what I was talking about and said they didn’t get a shipment of those.
the sticky note link won’t work for me. just says internet explorer has stopped working
So excited to pick these up for my classroom!
Is the Bic $1 off coupon still on the Target site? I couldn’t find it there.
My Target in Canton, GA didn’t have the post it notes. Bummer!
Ours in Fishers, IN didn’t either … what a huge bummer!! I’m hoping they eventually get some in this week though. Of course I will call them before driving over. 🙂
try looking in the “back to school” section! that’s where I found mine… they were in a huge cardboard bin! AND it looks like they’re on sale until October?! Did anyone else notice that??
No Post its or the scotch tape for .50 at my Target in Pleasant Prairie either. EVERYTHING was picked over.
No post-its left in Bellingham, WA… there were 2 left when I went, the plastic was 1/2 torn off of them but I didn’t care.
The Post It’s are all gone in the Bonney Lake, WA Target also, said they only got 120 total and were all sold out by yesterday afternoon!! Craziness!! Maybe I will check Walmart (shudder) on second thought.. probably not worth it! lol
No, totally not worth it! I just went tonight and they gave me a hard time about my internet coupon. They finally did accept one, but wouldn’t accept anymore than that. Waste of time.
For anyone who shops at a Shoprite, they have packs of post-its for .99 ( regular price). I’ve gotten 10 packs so far for free 🙂
hello what town is the shoprite you got them at? Thanks!!!
I know everyone’s going to flip on me when they read this…so just read the whole thing plz. I got 30 packs of post its at my Target store in South Charleston, W.Va.
I normally NEVER get any where near that number, but the guy was in the school isle stocking them and said he had several boxes of them to put out. He even showed me so I got 30.
I only had printed 30 coupons so I could get some at Target, Kmart, and Walmart. I’ll keep a few for myself and donate the rest to a school close by. Been waiting to catch a good deal so I could donate to a school for the first time. I am EXCITED!
The coupon for the Post-It’s says its for the “super sticky notes.” These are different than the regular ones aren’t they? And if the cashiers take them, will the store get reimbursed for them? I like to watch out for the cashiers when I can, so we can keep couponing!
The Post-its at my Target for $1 were the “super sticky” kind.
I went to Walmart today and the Post-Its were $1 each, the same price as Target’s sale price. The Scotch tape was $1, but they price matched from the Target sale ad!!!
I had a Wal-Mart cashier scan the coupon…it was accepted by the system with no problem…but, for some reason, she proceeded to actually read the FINE print and it says that the value of the notes product must be at least $2. I had never read the fine print to see that requirement! So, she handed me back all my coupons and said I could use them on bigger packs. The fine print also says limit one coupon per per purchase/transaction.
