Based on an order I placed earlier this month, the Ebates cash back for Yves Rocher is calculated from the shopping bag amount and not the payment amount. My order (shopping bag total) was $40 and I had a $10 discount, so I paid $30. My Ebates cash back amount was calculated at 30% of $40 = $12. So for the deal Collin posted, I would expect $24 cash back (40% of $60). This order alone guarantees you a big fat check in February (the next issue date) because you’ve reached the $20 minimum, and that your OOP is only $16!!

My mistake. I wonder where I got that from? Did it used to be $20?
I did the Yves deal earlier in the month too and Ebates told me that because I used the $10 discount coupon it cancelled out my receiving the 30% cash back.

This happened to me too! I have been meaning to look into why I never received it…but haven’t had time. They have my order recorded by my rebate as $0. It makes me uneasy about trying to do this again.
Hmmm . . . can’t think of anything special I did. The order I placed after this post with 40% cash back worked the same. My shopping bag total was $30.50. Less the $10 discount code, I paid $20.50. Ebates posted by cash back as $12.20 (40% of $30.50).

When you scroll down on the Ebates page, there is a specific coupon that says get $20 off $60 PLUS 40% cash back. Seems like it shouldn’t be a problem. There’s also one for $10 off $30 plus 40% back.

I chose the free So Elixir body lotion, too. When I get my $24 cash back, I will have scored all that for only $16. Wow. Amazing. Those shower gels will be the perfect gifts for 3 of my cousins and 2 of my aunts. Plus, I’ll also have one left over to give to someone else or keep. Woo hoo!
