I’m not quite sure if it’s regional, but hopefully lots of you received a $2/3 Select Mars Holiday products coupon. There are lots of qualifying products listed on the coupon and one to note is the Snickers Nutcracker Singles. These are on sale 3/$1 at Walgreens this week. Here’s how to score 6 for FREE….

may want to double ck, I’m pretty sure there is a size restriction. Usually these q’s are on the bags, not the singles.

read the line that is to the left of the sku # that reads with coupon right side up 30-00 it says SNICKERS NUTCRACKER SINGLES OR 6 PACK be sure to remember where on the coupon it is so if they give you any problems you can show them. I will be going to the walgreens from hell tomorrow to do 2 trans being i have 6 coupons .I am just going to ask for a whole un open box it better for the teachers desk If I get a cashier that can count this should be a breeze hahaha what am i thinking I will give and update on this on and on my trip to rite aid there right across the street from each other Its like good v evil

I just used both of my $2/3 coupons in CVS to get the awesome M&M deal! However, I have to go back, because for some ODD reason, one of the 6 bags I bought rang up at $3.79 instead of $2. It is a 9.9 oz bag of Peanut M&Ms, weird! I’m not sure if it is because it isn’t a “holiday” bag but it shouldn’t matter- the rest weren’t….hmm, ideas?

maybe this is just lack of sleep talking but how do you use a $2/3 coupon to get SIX free? that seems a little off?
The cost for 3 is only $1….but Walgreens doesn’t allow overage like that…..but if you buy 6 of them for $2, then the register won’t beep, since you have $2 worth of the mars products.
They are on sale 3 for $1 so purchase 6 for $2 and use the $2 off coupon.

All Walgreens Mars singles are 3/$1, so maybe you can find a different variety

Huh. My walgreens doesn’t have these, doesn’t. Have a spot for them and no /one has seen them. Its in the ad too? This seems. To happen a lot at my wags. Wonder why? How do I complain?

I was able to score 12 of these for free this evening using 2 coupons. I was a bit confused at first because the hang tag was still reading 2/$1, not 3/$1. Looks like I’ll be going back tomorrow for more.

Tried this tonight at my local Walgreens and did not have any luck. He adjusted the coupon down.
That’s what I was thinking, the policy does say they need to adjust it, overage is not allowed.
But there is no overage. If you buy 6, thats $2 worth. The coupon is $2/3, so instead of getting overage (ie 3/$1), you’re just maximizing the full use of the coupon value by buying 6.

I just got back from Wags – bought 24 @ 3/$1 used 4 $2/3 Qs and everything went through no beeps.
Darn it, mine beeped and the cashier gave me a hard time. I couldn’t find exactly where it said Snickers Nutcracker (and there was a long line behind me) so I gave up. I wonder why it beeped!?!?

Thanks so much! But frustrated! Saw this post, went right down to Walgreens with my Qs, and the brand new Walgreens near me does not have this in stock! They have a very small Christmas candy display, usually walgreens has at least 12 feet of candy on 4 shelves, but this one only had about a foot of candy on 4 shelves! I talked to someone and they said they didn’t get all their candy from the warehouse this year. 🙁 I’ll have to try another Walgreens tomorrow.

It worked! I rarely get good regional coupons! I happened to stop at Walgreen’s to pick up the paper; the cashier didn’t think it would work but it did! Make sure you get 6 I wasn’t thinking and grabbed 3 and the coupon beeped but with 6 no problems!
I got the coupons but none of the Wags in my area have any… The coupons do specify that they are good on the Nutcracker singles…
Try Walmart. I just took in the Walgreen’s ad, and they price matched the ad, then i used my coupon to still score them for free! My Walmart actually didn’t have the Nutcracker singles, but they had tons of the M&M’s Mini tubes, so I got 6 of those for free (it still 100% complied with the brands/size restrictions of the ad and the coupon). =) It’s worth a shot for free stocking stuffers.
Oooo….good thinking. Im gonna do this if my Walgreens doesnt carry these. And even if they do, I have 10 coupons so I can really stock up on these!!!

If anyone is having problems with Walgreens being sold out of them, just do what I did and go to Walmart and price match then use the coupon. You MUST take in the actual Walgreen’s ad though!
Just a note, the Christmas M&M’s Mini’s 1.94oz tubes will work for this deal too (It goes within the guidelines of the brand/size restrictions). I’m sure other candy will work as well, but you must read all of the fine print to find out exactly which ones.) Anyway, I just took the Walgreens ad to Walmart, asked them to price match 6 of the Christmas M&M’s Mini’s tubes to 3 for $1 (instead of originally $1 each), then I used my $2/3 coupon to score them all for free. =) By the way, it was a very smooth transaction – no hassle with the cashier, and no beeps from the coupons.

I tried this today and it totally worked with no problem. Since it is a food item there was not even any tax, I just walked out with 6 candies for free. We do secret santa at my office so I am excited to get these goodies for free!!

I tried this at my store. First they were 2/$1 here AND the coupon said nothing about the nutcrackers so they wouldn’t accept it. Sorry, no deal in MI!
At first, the manager and I couldn’t find any in the candy or holiday aisle. Just as I was leaving the store, empty handed with my husband, there was a huge box of them at the check out counter. BINGO! I got 18 of them as I had 2 – $2 off and 2 – $1 off manuf coupons. I immediately took one out and handed it to the young teen who checked me out and wished her a Merry Christmas. She was shocked. Many of the other ones, I’m giving to my grad and undergrad students at my college; where I work. Many thanks for this tip!
Does anyone knoow if all wal marts price match? Or is that an “up to the store” thing?? Just wondering if I take my ad to my local walmart if they will do it, or not? Thanks for any help.
