dang. i wanted to submit my swag bucks for a gift card but all the beauty and the beast will probably be gone by the time it posts.
It’s through April 4th. Even if they sell out, I’m sure they’d get more sometime before then…
As soon as I read this post, I redeemed my swagbucks for two e cards for amazon and just got them tonight.
I was wondering how this deal stacks up to the sales and coupons that we usually see when a movie is released? I think I got Beauty and the beast for $10 at Target when it first came out and it was a Blu-Ray combo pack too.
I got BATB for $2.99 at Toys R Us after promos and coupons. I had to Pre-order Toy Story 3, but they were out of stock when I went to pick it up. I ended getting a refund on my pre-order too! 28.00 for two movies seems like a lot to me when we usually get these movies for dirt cheap
I was thinkin the same thing. Usually the first week after release you can get it for under $10 at Toys R Us or Target. I think I will take a chance and wait it out.
yeah but you usually have to buy a bunch of other stuff too. i hate this about couponing. i feel like i am gambling!
The Amazon deal is good til 4/4 and the movie is released 3/29, so you should have time to see what deals are going on at the stores and decide.
Hmm, we already have Beauty and the Beast. Are there any other movies I could combine with Tangled?
Yes, you can check out all the eligible titles found here.
Thank you! I have been able to ad a lot of titles to our Disney collection lately!
I tried adding 2 Tangled (1 for a gift ) and i didn’t get the $10 ??Anyone else
I tried to add 2 also and didn’t get the promo discount. =(
Keep us posted on deals for Tangled DVD, PLEASE!!! My daughter would LOSE it if she got it for Easter!! I already got BATB at Target before Christmas, so I will hold off…hoping for another good deal!! Thanks so much!!
Same here…I really want Tangled though. I would expect that there will be more sales the closer it gets to release. I’m looking forward to Bambi deals too.
I have heard Tangled is a great movie, but I have 3 and 6 yr old boys, do you think it would be a good movie for boys too?
wondering the same thing??
My son is almost 13 and wasn’t happy when we went to see this movie.. but it was his sisters turn to pick and I caught him laughing big time through many of the scenes. Later when I asked him what he thought he said “it was really good”, then added with a grin “for a princess movie”..
My 2.5 and 5 year old boys loved it at the theater – it’s mostly funny, not so girly – but still, I’m sure there are plenty of boys who would not want to watch it again and again.
My boys are the same age and they loved it! Their favorite character is the horse. I am planning on buying it.
my 4yo saw it in the movies and loved it. He said it was really funny…. and loved the horse
Thanks for the feedback…I have been using this site for about 18 months and one huge reason I love it is because of all the great readers that help each other!
I have 3 boys. 11 year old, 3 year old and 6 month old. I buy all the Disney movies (even the ones with princesses) and they love watching it with me since I don’t have a daughter to play Barbie with.
My 5 y/o son asked to go see it & it kept his attention. My 2 y/o daughter, not so much. LOL
This was a great deal with the groupon I had on my account. I think it was $10 for a 20 giftcard. I only paid 15.98 for 2 movies!
I did a comparable deal like this with Amazon when Toy Story 3 was first released and it was a great deal! One thing to note is that when you pre-order a movie with Amazon, they guarantee that you will get it for the lowest price they offer upon release….so if their price goes down in the meantime, they’ll automatically issue you a refund for the difference. This happened with Toy Story 3 and I got an email about the price reduction – very cool! I have no qualms about getting in on this deal again this time knowing that!
We also already have Beauty and The Beast, so I’m going with ordering Tinkerbell and The Great Fairy rescue along with it 🙂
Just curious how the additional $10 comes off at checkout??? I’ve got these items sitting in my cart and they are $38.48. Anyone else have this prob??
The $10 comes off at the last step of checkout before you place the order.
Another thought…can we use the $20 amazon gift card we got a while ago for $10? That would make the final cost $8.
Sure you can!
I LOVE this movie and I am very excited to see a deal.. but after looking at the eligible items, the only one that we don’t have already is Tinkerbell at $26. So total for both would have been $36, that’s $18 each. Rather expensive, isn’t it? I am a little hesitant. I would much rather pay $10 for a DVD rather than $20 for a DVD/Blu-Ray Combo since we don’t even have a Blu-Ray player (and NOT looking to upgrade any time soon). Besides, I thought I might have a chance at the Toys R Us deals like some people already mentioned…. Ugh. I don’t know what to do….
By the way, another deal I might be considering is to buy the 3 Tinkerbell movies (3 DVDs for $45.99) on Amazon (that would be $15 a piece) and then order the Tangled through DIsney Movie Rewards. It’s $24.95 ($5 more than Amazon) but gives you extra 200 Disney points. Not totally sure if this is a better deal. I am still trying to figure out.
Does anybody have an old Bambi movie upc code/disney movie rewards code they are willing to share so others can get a $10 off coupon? Currently through disney movie rewards you can get the coupon if you submit your old UPC code.I have the VHS kicking around but no box. I know with another movie ?sleeping beauty? it worked for sharing. Thanks!
megslye12 at yahoo dot com or just post on here! Thanks!

Is there going to be a 3 disc combo? I’d love to have the digital copy but I don’t need the 3D disc.
You can get the 3 disc combo as part of this deal too….the price for that one is more. Click on the link and you will see it.
Well it is Disney. I think we can all count on a $8 to $10 off coupon printable here in the next month. Then we wont have to buy 2 movies just to save $10 bucks on it!
I didn’t know you could use coupons on Amazon. What do you put in for the discount for things like the movies? Thanks.
I just noticed the Beauty & the Beast is now 16.99 today 🙂 Little better deal.
