Everyone who is going for these, make sure to call your local store ahead. They are only doing the giveway in certain parts of the country. The closest one to me that is doing it is 2hrs away 🙁

Best bet is to call ahead to your store today to see if they are doing the promo. It says most are, but I know they arent. Many I called never heard of the promo, and dont sell Gogo’s. If your store does, be prepared for the influx of little kids, mainly boys coming in to get some. There is an exclusive Miro-K figurine in some stores giveaway loot… and TONS of fans/players are hitting up multiple stores & planning group trips to get them!! There are posts on all the fan sites. My nephews are going nuts and counting down the hours. Miro-K is very hard to find! These kids have had their hearts set on this for weeks!

Ooooh, I think these will be perfect egg fillers for my husband’s 11 year old son if he’s at our house on Easter. Since he’s not into Pokemon anymore (and a pack of cards is like $5), I was wondering what else to put in his eggs besides candy and maybe coins, especially since I have a bunch of little toys already for our 20 month old. Even if he’s not into the game, I think they’re kind of cool just as pocket sized weird looking creatures.
I feel that these are kind of like the squinkies. Does anyone ever think about the enviroment when creating these toys or just the money they will make? All of these little plastic things that will all get tossed in a couple of months when they are no longer the rage. I’m really not trying to be cynical I’m just becoming a bit more aware of their impact on our Earth.
Yes, think of ALL the plastic toys that you see when you go to the toy store, and then all the plastic items like toothbrushes, food containers, detergent/shampoo/body wash containers, etc. Plastic has infiltrated every part of our lives.

Yeah, even the Gogo fanclub posts say to print up that Walgreens Facebook post and bring it with you just incase. I recalled 2 of my local stores & told them about it all and the Facebook posts. The manager said he had called his district manager who knew nothing about it, and they wouldve had some info or a shipment atleast by today. Ill try anyway. One store that I did get ahold of that is doing it (too far away for me) said it will be one toy per family!! She said that they can be nice if a parent comes in with two kids & give them two if they choose to, and if they aren’t running out, but they have been told one per family. Eesh.

I called and my Walgreens is participating. The lady said “one per customre.” I have 3 kids….are they considered customers? I am not going to take 3 kids in to get 1!!! 🙂

We just got home from getting ours! The first Walgreens we went to didn’t know what I was talking about. But the second one gave both my girls two each!! Also said they were gonna hand them out until the store closes and to come back in a little while and she’ll give them more 🙂

I just dragged my 3 kids out to get ours. The first walgreens said that you could only get 1 with a purchase. I bought something that I had been planning to pick up and they gave 1 to my 6 yo son. I asked about my 2 yo daughter getting one and they said only 1 per purchase and not for kids under 4. She finally gave 1 to my daughter when she started crying! So mean 🙁
That’s awful! Thankfully I got one for each of my kids!
I worked today and we didn’t give it to kids under 4 because they sent a paper stating not to give it to kids under 4 because of the choking hazard. And the other rules were no purchased needed, and only one per customer. I gave it to multiple kids that were over 4 because I didn’t want to just give it to one kid. But one dad made me angry because he screamed at me because I wouldn’t give him one (he didn’t have any kids with him and he wanted six of them). I ended up giving him one because he wouldn’t stop cussing at me. Very rude. (awful day today hehehe)
My DH took our two boys but the store only gave them 1. They said it was 1 per family. Thankfully my older son was not too disapointed. I think that it should have been 1 for each child present. Kinda a bummer. My younger son was happy.
Just went to my walgreens (3:30 west COast time) and they gave my 3 boys 2 each. They looked like they would have handed over more just to be done with them. the gogos not my boys =)

My kids were able to score it. They had soooo many, it was like just sitting by the register. I didn’t see anyone asking for them. Some ppl complained that they were told to make a purchase but it clearly states on the wrapper …SAMPLE..NOT FOR RESALE. The cashier told me that it was one per person and I was like but I have two kids. Anywayz I told my husband to take my son so he can get his. How you gonna give out one toy when you see two kids?? I find it really stupid.
My kids got these today (Sunday) at our local walgreens. They had a box on the counter with a sign saying 1/child. Each of my kids got one and as small as they are I’m sure they’re already lost in the car. LOL
A friend and I went out when I saw this giveaway. We were so excited because her brother used to live in Mongolia and play the game with real sheep bones. When my kids were at her house they were playing with these yucky bones. Anyhow a much friendlier game for kids. We had trouble at one walgreens and just went to another. We didn’t have our kids with us but there was no info requiring you to have kids with you on the website. We left our kids at home and the cashier and manager both made us feel like we were trying to steal or get away with something. They wanted to give us 1 to share between our families. We were really grateful that the next walgreens was very generous and gave us one for each of our children.
I went on Saturday and when I asked neither the clerk nor the store manager knew anything about it. They checked the internet and verified that it was true. Then they checked their stock and found that it was part of the shipment that they got in at 3:30pm on Friday. Bless the clerk’s heart, she searched high and low and finally found the freebies. They didn’t know anything about the collectible one with the certificate of authenticity though. But I got mine and that was all that mattered. Was going to give it to the local shelter, but when as I was walking out one little boy was crying because his brother got one and not him because of the “one per customer” policy – so I gave him mine. The look of sheer joy was priceless. Made my day.
Went to Walgreen’s today – they still had some – cashier gave me 5 !!!
I thought they were goin to be alot bigger, they are only for kids that were 36 months and old so NO young kids should get them. I asked the manager and she also stated it was one per child and i have two children but when i seen how small they were my son wouldnt know what to do with the little thing anyway. Some people where asking how you know the stores are participating if you call the stores they will tell you if they are participating in the event.
Well, I started collecting them, and I would rather buy mine. Just wanna make sure they are real, and all together. By the way found on ground, GOLDEN EGG CRAZY BONE???????
