FREE Subscription to Ebony Magazine = Coupons
Mercury Magazines is offering up a FREE subscription to Ebony Magazine! You do not need to enter any credit card info and you will never receive a bill. And FYI – when asked about your Industry, you’ll have the option to choose homemaker (if you don’t work outside the home).
As I’ve stated before, this magazine is usually packed with P&G product coupons. In the February issue, there was a P&G coupon booklet attached which included eight $1/1 coupons for Dawn, Bounty, Tide, Charmin, Cascade, Febreze, Downy and Swiffer. Plus, the March 2011 issue had over $39 worth of P&G coupons! And some of these coupons were very high in value…

I got that issue and there was no pg insert.
I think I I have received three of these magazine now, and only the last one did not have coupons. Hopefully they will be back in the next issue!

Nevermind I see now that you only put in CC info if you want to add other mags to your order! Cool
How did you do that? I clicked my mailing address and hit submit and it said I had to correct my info by selecting up to 6 max other magazines and my credit card info etc.etc. Did you figure out how to get around it?
There was a glitch with the site. I got the same message in a pop-up screen, closed it. I got a confo e-mail that said my order was successful.
I got both the April and May issues (free subscription) and neither had any coupons.
how do you get past buying other magazines for 2.00 ?
I have same problem. It does not matter if I add or do not add other magazine. The site won’t let me go through that process. I gave up.

I have a free subscription, I received February and March too… No coupons. Maybe they dont include the coupons in the ones who get it for free?
I know, me too. The only reason I got it was for the coupons, and I have gottten two so far and not one coupon at all.:( I wondered why too.
that’s not it. I can’t remember what month, but I got the free one and it did have the coupons in it. Not real sure why you didn’t. Maybe I just got lucky, I dunno.

I got the FREE subscription last time this was offered and I got the free coupons. Can’t remember the month it was but Halle Berry was on the cover.
Site was slow and then tried to “sell” me other magazines and would not process my free one without credit card information. Waste of my time.
Its not letting me bypass the $2 magazine order. Does anyone have any ideas?
Fill in billing info with your address and no credit card info. Them just wait a few mins. That is what I did and it finally said it would be on the way in 6-8 weeks. Very slow site today.
keeps on saying to fill in cc info, what am i doing wrong? filled in address only and it isn’t working.
very weird! mine did the same! I filled it out and it said I needed to pick more magazines and add CC after I hit submit. Then, I had H2S on another tab and went to view others posted ideas around this and read this above from Anonymous about waiting and don’t touch anything. I was like ok, I’ll try that..and clicked back on the magazine request tab to see it had changed to Thank You! It’s coming in the mail!
So try just waiting it out after hitting submit 🙂

What a rip off. You do not get this offer unless you select 6 othrr mags that they bill you for. This was a wadte of my time
I didn’t have to select any other mags. I put shipping address and got thank you message. other selection of magazines show up but it’s pop up so I didn’t do anything with that.
the 6 mag. popped up in a different window, when I closed out of it, it says my order would arrive in 6-8 wks
Even though I put in homemaker, it’s still asking me to put job title and company on there….you know the part where you put in your address. Any suggestions? Thank you!
I put homemaker as job title and my last name as company name and went through.
I think it will take anything.

do you have to keep on htting submitt until it goes through or just hit it once and wait, been waitng awhile and keeps on rejecting it even with having my address filled out for it. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

It is taking forever. I have went outside for an hour, fed my baby, put the baby down for a nap and the page is still loading. I can’t pass the “tel us where to sand your magazine” page.
ooops… I didn’t realize the thank-you was on the first page so I tried to do whole process again and got two thank-you’s…. wonder if I will accidently get two magazines, hmm…..

February is Black History Month; March is Women’s History Month…probably the reason for coupons in the Feb. & March issues. Missing coupons… maybe your mailman took them???
Does anyone know if there was an insert in the March issue or maybe it was regional? I also did not receive any coupons. I hope my mailman isn’t taking them.

So I ordered this free sub in August. I got the October 2011 issue with Mary J. Blige on the cover. Im my mag, page 124 was a P&G ad and the lower inside was ripped like someone had torn out the insert. How frustrating!
I’m going to try calling customer service to see if I can get a new copy 😛
