   Do you know if you can still get the rebate for the paper if you have already done a paper rebate in the last few weeks?

  Yes….each rebate has a promotional date range (example: 4/10-4/16) as long as the promotion has ended and started over with a new date range you can do it again. I asked about this last week with the paper since I had already done it a few weeks ago. So just make sure that the promotion is only for this week and it’s not a month long promotion and you should be good.

   hmmm, my coupon says FREE. well, kudos to me then. 🙂 guess I couldn’t read though. Also didn’t find the $1.00 off coupon. Oh well.

  The $1 coupon says “color lok” on it, not “HP”. Hope this helps!

   I believe Staples will adjust the EasyRebate amount down $1 if you use a coupon on the same purchase, but I could be wrong. Regardless, hooray free paper!

  They have never adjusted my rebates. I used a coupon for some kind of labels (I forget the brand) and just got the check yesterday for the full amount!

  The manager told me this when I used a coupon with a rebate for paper last week, but it looks like my rebate will be for the full amount…

   I received an email from Staples regarding the free after rebate HP MP paper ream. In the email it says “you pay $5.99” “you get $5.99 back with easy rebate”. Still will be free but not as much initial OOP amount.

   Crap. I needed paper and I was in such a hurry I miss reading the portion where you print out the store rebate coupon. Oops! I hope I have time to return it and then buy it again.

   My Staples did not let me use the $1 coupon on top of the free paper coupon…so, basically I have to pay tax. 🙁 Maybe your Staples is nicer….

   just a heads up, I tried using the HP coupon last time with the free paper rebate and the cashier wouldn’t take it. Said the computer wouldn’t recognize it. So beware.

  I have had the same thing happen to me at Staples. I was told the computer would not take the coupon because it knew I would make money off the deal and wouldn’t allow it. Free is still a great deal, but the cashier looked at me like I was nuts after she told me I would end up making money and I told her that was the point. Just a heads up that it may not work.

  It just happened to me too. The cashier told me that I couldn’t use the coupon and the rebate coupon that “it wouldn’t recognize both coupons”. I said can we try to ring it and she said “no, one or the other”. 🙁
