Dollar General: Lysol Hand Soap System Only $2
This Hip2Save.com Deal was hand-posted on Tuesday, June 21st, 2011 at 8:45 am.
You can score a pretty sweet deal on Lysol Healthy Touch No-Touch Hand Soap System Starter Kits at Dollar General by combining their store coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon…
Lysol No-Touch Hand Soap System Starter Kit $10 (price may vary a little by region)
Use the $5/1 Dollar General store coupon found here
Plus, stack with the $3/1 coupon found in the 6/12 SS or here (login or register)
Final cost only $2!
* The last sentence in the Dollar General coupon policy states, “You may also use a Dollar General coupon along with a Manufacturer’s coupon for the same item, as long as neither coupon states otherwise.”
(Thanks, Gracie!)

Min says:
It will be a study in my patience to see how the cashier responds with me stacking Q’s here.
LOL
Jessey says:
I know the feelin’….my DG store always gives me a hard time when I try to use coupons there. I had one for $3 off the item was priced at $3.29 making it 0.29 after the coupon…and they (DG store) told me that they couldn’t accept that…and I couldn’t use that coupon there because my final cost was under $1….I was like SERIOUSLY!!!….so I started going to walmart, I may try the dg store again tho lol….at least this time I have a stock pile of Tylenol
shirleydb says:
Great deal Collin, Thanks…
shirleydb says:
The manufactures coupon states (consumer; only one coupon is redeemable per purchase. Can we use both coupons? Please help, I”m confused…
Jessey says:
I THINK if it says that you can only use one q of that kind it means you can’t use two of the SAME coupons (like TWO manufacturer q’s….or TWO in store q’s)….so it should be fine to stack the “in store” q with the manufacturer q
Tsmit says:
Mine says the same…
guai says:
great deal; I would rather have the refill soap instead I already got 2 of these starter kits
Chrissy says:
Hey – you can pry the lid open with a butter knife and put any type of soap in there. I go thru tons of soap in my kitchen and mine is still holding out. Have had it for almost a year now.
Laura says:
Thanks Collin! Awesome deal! Sad I got this at Target last week for $5, but I wanted another for my bathroom. And $5 was still a great price. Now if I can find a great deal on the refills, I’ll be thrilled! YOU ROCK!
Mel says:
Just went and got mine. My first transaction of 2 of them with 4 cpns caused some issue with the register and the manager overrode it…. it was only accepting 1 DG cpn and 1 man cpn. So the next time I tried 1 item with the 2 cpns and it went through fine.
SassyPhoenix says:
I love my DG I have not had any trouble stacking.
Balerie says:
I love my Lysol no-touch…I have one in the bathroom and two in the kitchen, one for hand soap and the other for dish washing soap. You can easily pop the top off with a butter knife and refill it with any soap
Raqs says:
Nice tip on refills,.I refuse to buy this kit for the reason that the refills are expensive we can’t even find coupons for those..but maybe this time I’ll grab two:-)
Michlle M says:
Thanks for the tip. I love the idea but wasn’t sure about spending the extra on the refills
emilytwinmom says:
I just cut a hole in the “top” of the refill so I don’t even have to take the soap holder out of the dispenser, I just squeeze more soap in through the hole I cut! I have two and one died last week, after using it for maybe 8 months. It was our bathroom we use all the time with two potty training little ones, so it did get a lot of use!!!
Agnes says:
LOL that’s what I do, Im cheap LOL so I dont want to buy refills , I just fill it with my favourite Yellow antibacterial softsoap for the kitchen, works like a charm.
shirleydb says:
Thanks Jessey, my local DG is not thateasy to work with when it comes to coupons. Wanted to make sure first.
Amy says:
There is a printable on the DG website for $1 off the refills too… I printed their coupon policy and I am going to go give it a try later this afternoon!
Christy says:
I just got back from DG and it is cheaper to buy the starter kit than it is the refills with the coupons.
meljbrash1 says:
This worked at my Dollar General this morning. The good news….They were on sale at my store for $8!! I had to do 2 seperate transactions to stack both coupons. Total for two…..40 cents!!! GREAT DEAL!
raquel says:
wow!you’re lucky to find it at $8! where are you from?im from houston tx and i called the store,it is $10 and comes with a refill soap
Michlle M says:
Had a lot of trouble at my Dollar General for the first time since I’ve been going there. Even after I showed the manager the policy she refused to let me use a DG coupon and a Manufacturer coupon. . . I gave in and said fine just use the DG coupon since its still a good deal. She said it looked like a ‘photo copy’ and refused that too but she ‘allowed’ the Manufacturer coupon. . . so instead of $5 it would have been $7. I told her forget it and left. She said I’ve seen that show, I know how this works. Seriously!?
Abby Stevens says:
Well, there you go… even though she was misinformed and not listening, what do people now think the minute we whip out coupons? “Oh, you’re one of THOSE people…” Thanks a lot, Extreme Couponing.
Abby Stevens says:
I should probably clarify: by ‘she’ I meant the DG cashier.
emilytwinmom says:
Wow, I would write to whatever corporate email address you can find online for Dollar General and complain to them. You were doing nothing fraudulent and they lost a customer!
thuy says:
they gave me a hard time too, but i had the coupon policy with me…so the manager finally said “as long they both scan then we will accept them”. Both coupons went through with no problem.
Christie says:
And that is when I would have took her name and promptly reported her to the regional DG manager!
Kim W. says:
I had to do two separate transactions for two of the Lysol dispensers. It sounds like DG has a ton of issues with their coupon processing. I have always been given hard time when I go there and try to stack coupons.
Gwen says:
I just returned from DG and was able to use both coupons. The cashier did call the manager because she did not think I could use both. I told the manager that one was a store and one was a manufacturer coupon. I also had the coupon policy in my hand. She told the cashier to scan both and if both scanned I could use them. I have wanted one of these but have been reluctant because of the refills being expensive. Thanks for the tips on how to make your own refills.
Leah says:
Just got back from my DG. The cashier was great, but the manager was terrible. She said that I couldn’t use more coupons than I had items. She was on the phone the entire time, and acted as if I was bothering her. When she walked away, the cashier was somehow able to process my coupons. I hate being treated like I’m doing something wrong.
Tsmit06 says:
Just got back from my DG. The cashier was great, but the manager said NO! She said that I couldn’t use my coupons because it said only one coupon per item. (consumer; only one coupon is redeemable per purchase)
mindy says:
i just went back and bought 2 more in 2 transactions. The manager scanned $3 coupon and said i could only use 1 coupon per item. I told her the $5 coupon is the sale price for DG so I can use a manufacturer coupon on top of the sale price and whipped out DG policy. I said to her “if you have any problem, call your corporate office”. I know she was very angry but i was right
Got both for $2.25 each included tax.
shanae says:
I had difficulty too but the manager override it! I just you a knife and pop off the top I have 4 and I’ve had them all for a year. Just replaced batteries and I have 4 kids so it does come in handy 1 for my kitchen and the rest for my bathrooms. Just wanted upgrade to the stainless still one for my kitchen and will give the white one to my mom. Thanks a lot.
Tracy says:
Live in Wisconsin n got 2! Yay! Had to do separate transactions for both coupons to go thru but got them for $2 ea!!! Love the site! Thanks so much for all the help!
Andy says:
At both of my Dollar Generals, they had the $3/1 coupon on a tear off pad, right by the kit.
Karen says:
i TRIED TO BUY ONE AND THE DG COUPON WOULDN’T SCAN SO THEY WOULDN’T TAKE IT. SHOULD YOU GIVE THEM THE DG COUPON FIRST THEN THE MANUFACTURER????
Tammy says:
At my dollar general it didn’t work. The register wouldn’t take it and the supervisor wanted me to pay full price. Yeah…right.
katie says:
I just got back from DG and it was a terrible experience! I couldn’t find the dispensers so I asked the cashier and she told me that they didn’t have them there. She didn’t check or ask someone else, just too lazy I guess. I walked up and down the aisles AND FOUND THEM! But little did I know that my troubles had just started…I had NO luck at the register with stacking my coupons, even with the managaer AND showing them the coupon policy. I will be contacting corporate and letting them know, soooo frustrating!!
Lisa says:
After going through 2 managers with a line forming behind me, they still refused to honor DG and mfr coupon. I emailed their customer service department via their “contact us” web page.
Allisha says:
Just got my automatic soap dispenser… So neat! The cashier only gave me a little bit of a hard time about stacking the coupons and only gave me the deal because they went through when she rang them up. It was advertised for $8 but rang up $10 but I didn’t want to harass the clerk anymore than I had to. I’m thinking I might not go back to DG tho… Horrible organization of the store and wasn’t all that helpful!
marine mom says:
Just got back from the DG. Unit was $10, saved $8 and got it for $2 with no problem!! They had their refills for $3.01, use the $1 q on their site would make it $2.01, a penny more then the whole unit! Also found the Neutra air for $7 before $4 q.
Lisa says:
Would anyone be willing to send/sell me your $5 off coupon? If so, can you email me? hollinld@yahoo.com
darlingsilver says:
When i open the links to get the $5 coupon there isn’t one for the lysol soap dispenser??? any help would be appreciated i really would love to get some of these for my house
