…and more!

How Does it Work?

By signing up with Crowdtap, you’ll be presented with a variety of opportunities to complete and you’ll be helping brands make major marketing decisions as well as help spread the buzz about products you like! You’ll also be able to answer “Info questions” that will help them better match you with more opportunities. How do you earn cash rewards? You can earn cash by earning top awards as a result of providing meaningful responses in discussions and participating in discussions daily. Also, once you reach level 5 you will receive a 5% cash bonus for every $10 you earn.

1.) Just head on over here and sign up for a Crowdtap account with your Facebook account
2.) Answer a few polls (click on Quick Hits) to help brands target you by your interests
3.) View Opportunities and participate with the brands and offers that interest you
4.) Earn status, rewards, and charity – the more you do, the more you get, the more you give!

How do the Rewards Work?

After your account reaches at least $10, you’ll be able to redeem your earnings in the following ways…

*Cash Rewards – Certain activity launched by brands will earn you cash rewards.
*Gift Cards – Your Crowdtap cash can be redeemed for Amazon.com gift cards
*Help Charities – You can choose to help your selected charity
*Free Products – Some activities will also offer free products and other goodies

Keep in mind that you’ll need to earn at least $9.99 before you can “redeem” your earnings (you’ll just click on the “redeem link at top”) AND 5% will automatically go to the charity you select on signup which Crowdtap will match. Then just choose to donate the rest to a charity or get an Amazon gift card e-mailed to you!

Also, the points you earn determine your “level” and each level you obtain gives you privileges on the site and showcases your accomplishment. However, keep in mind that points and dollars are completely separate in Crowdtap. Points will help you level up, unlock badges, and compete with your friends while moving up the leaderboard. Dollars translate to real money and can be redeemed for Amazon gift cards or donated to your selected charity. Individual actions can earn you points, dollars, or both but points and dollars are not directly related to one another.

  8. Pinky

I’m level 5. I joined the last time they were mentioned with the Old Navy tanks. So it does not take long to level up. I applied for the tank one. Did not get it. I do not have the Addidas offer, but honestly, me in a sports bra. Does that mean I would have to work out or jog or something. They made the right call not offering me this one, lol.

  9. Tory

I had more offers at level 3! I’m now level 5 and get nothing!

  10. Dorinne

I’m level 5 now, I log in at least every other day to do whatever is available and I still haven’t gotten a single trial yet. 🙁 I keep hoping I’ll get one, especially one of the Old Navy ones, I do lots of shopping there so it would be great to get some free stuff to wear! 🙂

      “Application Complete 100%
Thank you for completing the questions. You will be contacted soon if you are accepted.”

  13. Alea

No invitation for this one 🙁

  14. joy

I was a level 5 too. but after months of quick hits and writing long in depth stories I was only up to $2.00. I was offered 4 different promos, but somehow I didn’t quality for any of them? My responses were often starred and almost always commented on,my rating was 100%. I felt like I was doing everything they wanted plus, but still I didn’t get in on the “test products” So after feeling like my opinions were used with out me being “rewarded” like they said they I would be, Yesterday I just deleted my whole account. I logged in everyday left all the comments and I wrote honest articles. I just felt very used by crowdtap. and un rewarded

  15. Carla

I’ve been a member of CrowdTap for a total of 142 days lol …. I’m up to level 5 with a Quality score of 70……I am very Loyal to doing this…. I sign on every day several times a day…. I’ve recieved 2 stars and 10 badges….. But I’ve yet to have any offers …. In fact this last week I’ve might of had 3 quick hits…. SO COME ON ADIDAS…. Let me Try your sports bra….. I can’t promise you I’ll look sexy in it….. but I could promise you a laugh if I should take a pic with it lol……. Thanks…… Love to all 🙂

    • Gina

Lol same here except I have 1 star 1o badges and have been a member for less than a month

  16. Gina

I think this is mostly for younger women as I am 17 and I got the offer. The old navy actions are for 25-35 year olds. Crowdtap is yet to have an opportunity for older women however patience is virtue as I sure soon a brand will join that will want older women’s opinions.

    • Pinky

Oh my gosh! I think we all just got told were old, lol!

      • Gina

Lol i’m not saying that just that’s what the brands think…

        • Pinky

I know your not meaning it that way. It was funny! Your 17 of course a 30 year old seems “old” right now! I am just impressed you use Colin’s site and are already being saving savy. It will really help you. I wish I had been so thrifty at your age.

          • lc

I think it’s by age, too. I’m 20 and received the invite.

            • vikky

I’m still in twenties and i did not received it

          • Gina

            Lol, thanks! 🙂

            • Lynette

OMG I am 50, what would Crowdtap give me to try????????? LOL

      • Carla

LOL….. I think so… Dang wish i was in my 20’s again lol,,,,Honestly if it’s more for the “younger crowd………What are all the ” OLD” folks doing there…..LOL

    • Hannah

I think you are right. I am 20 and got the invite. I never got the old navy ones since I think you had to be at least 25.

    • steph317

i’m 14 and i wasnt offered, i think they do have age categories..

      • Gina

Trust me they do as I am ADDICTED to CT I check everyday read posts on their FB page etc… I would know plus I’m friends with this girl I used to babysit and she’s on CT also 14 and didn’t receive the action.

  17. jackie

level 5 too and have not received any offers either…fill everything out and participate in discussions.

  18. Pinky

Speaking of surveys. I like the one’s at MyView. Collin posted about them maybe a year ago when I joined. I have gotten several gift cards from them an Old Navy one, Resteraunts.Com one (although that one wouldn’t allow me to use any of the awesome deal codes so I won’t be getting that again) and Think Geek. I have 10 referrals right now. They just need a name and email. So if anyone wants a referral let me know. I don’t even know if you still have to have a referral or not but anyway.
There surveys are quick and fun and you get points even if you don’t take the whole survey. I just took an interesting one today about possible theme park ideas. It was fun.

    • Sheena

Hey, could you send me the referral link, please?? It sounds pretty interesting. Thanks:)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I would also like the referral link. I want to sign up.

    • Barb j

I would also like the referral link

      • Pinky

Ladies I would need your email and names and I know i hate to ask you to post that where everyone could see it. If you want email me at liveonadimeorless@yahoo.com

  19. fitgirl224

Yeah ’cause only young people are fit…come on Adidas!! Some of us LIVE in workout clothing and are over 35!! I don’t like Adidas anyway. Under Armour fits and performs better. So does Nike. Just sayin’ 🙂

  20. Shar

I’m Level 5. I’ll be brutally honest and call it like I see it. Never offfered a product test. Loved crowdtap originally when it began! Cashed out once for $10 last year and now trying to build up enough to cash my final $10 and been stuck below that for over 7 months now. Have not gone up a single cent in 7 months. Probably best for me to donate the money and just call it quits. Never once have I won the $1 prizes – and I do the quick hits daily and sign in. They used to give you 5 cents per answer if you joined them at the start, and now they just give you a chance to win cash with much, much lower odds. I used to participate a lot more but I find it is time consuming to provide feedback and not be compensated at all. After all, time is money to me. Glad some of you are having luck with it – more power to you! I’ve had far better results and compensation, freebies, product tests, etc., elsewhere…

    • kathy f.

i’m addicted to the site. But now that I’m at level 6 I don’t even get to participate in the chats. I’m up to 90% rating hope they see out value as “older ladies” didn’t know 43 was that old but… I want to at least play the game and it would be nice to get a reward too…. Still only have the $1 I started with

  21. Lynette

My o my so glad that I read the comments before jumping into things, thanks ladies for all your honesty, time is money and I don’t have alot of either!

  22. Allyson

I seem to have the same trouble as alot of others who have left comments, once i passes level 3 I stopped getting offers (not that I ever got approved anyways). Btw, I think it has to do with your level and NOT YOUR AGE!

    • Gina

It has to do with your AGE as my friend is level one and she got the action!

  23. Jenna

I just came back to reply to a well thought out post from Jennifer in response to Joy. Why was it deleted? In any case, Joy, I agree with you and Jennifer (too bad her in-depth post was deleted). I have spent a lot of time providing Crowdtap with thoughtful, factual based responses, but I don’t receive as many new actions or quick hits as I once did. In any case, I think I may just take a break from it for now.

  24. Jen

I just registered, and the Adidas offer was there! I believe I fit the demographic as well considering I’m active daily. I would do it if you are college aged and active daily. You may get the offer upon signup like I did. Good luck!

  25. emilee

this is definitely about age. my mother signed up and is over 30 and didnt have it, i signed up and im 18 and i got the offer.

    • Jenna

By making this an age thing, CT is missing a huge demographic. For example, I do CrossFit, run 5-10 miles five days a week (often more when training) and have participated in eight marathons. However, I’m 33 so apparently CT thinks I am far too old and unfit apparently 😉 That’s okay though, because I am a loyal Nike and Lulu Lemon customer and have done many product tests for them 🙂
