Are you sill looking for a way to make use of the high value $1.50/1 ANY Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief toothpaste coupon available on Coupons.com (use zip 80031 – if needed)?!

Well, you may want to check in the travel size section next time you are out shopping! I’ve heard from a few of you that Walmart carries the travel size for around $0.99, so you may be able to snag FREE toothpaste + make $0.51 in overage to go towards other items! Also, the picture above was taken at HEB and as you can see, they also carry the travel size for $0.99.

Come back and let us know how you are making use of this *HOT* coupon!

I’ll give it a go during lunch break, although I’m still bummed the $7.88 Brita pitchers were wiped out this morn when I ckd.

After yesterday I don’t think I will be couponing at Wal Mart again. I had some of the Cascade Action Packs to use my coupons before expiring and the Cashier refused to let me use them saying that the picture resembled the large package and cannot be used with the trial size. I explained that the Coupon just said on 1 Cascade but he would not budge. I have been to Wal Mart only a few times while couponing and I have had bad experiences even when going to different stores in my town. I will stick with Target.

Kate, I am so sorry you have had bad experiences at Walmart.
I have had a bad experience at Walmart before, and I called the corporate office. The manager at the Walmart (the store I shopped at) called me within 24 hours and apologized about my bad experience. He said I can even call him or ask for him if I have tough time next time. He promised to me he will re-train his employees with the coupon issues.
Since then, I don’t have any employees giving me hard time with coupons.

I hope you will at least have no problem at Target!

Sorry about your bad experience 🙁

Yeah I’ve had issues with the Cascade and Tide q’s at one WM that I like to go to (only b/c it’s newer and cleaner-but not coupon friendly sometimes). I’ve used them twice now at Target and not had a problem so hopefully I can use the rest of them up before they expire. Yay for another $1 Cascade q in the P&G yesterday!

HEB usually does not give overage on any item. Its a YMMV type of thing. They consider overage Cashback (of sorts) and their coupon policy says that they cannot provide cash back if the face value of the coupon is greater than product price.

I am like you. I have had nothing but trouble from Walmart. It took me 30 minutes to check out last night because I had to talk the cashier through every coupon. Also for me it seems Target is really combing over coupons too. My last two trips the cashier has matched every item to every coupon. It has taken for ever! I’ll be sticking to Walgreens and CVS. Better deals much less hassle.

      • Tonya

That was supposed to be a reply to Kate. Sorry. Need more coffee.

      • Kate

So far I have had nothing but good experiences with Target, CVS and Walgreens. Steering clear of Wal Mart though.

i had an awful expierence at walmart also… the cashier had to read EVERY coupon, then go back and find the item it was for on the list.. it took me over an hour to check out.. and was sucha pain in the ass.. coupons that i should have had overages on she manually marked them down to whatever the item costs.. i was so aggrivated when i left there… ive come to find at walmart its the luck of the draw with the cashier..for some reason some of them take their job way to seriously…. i just dont get it.. the girl who gave me a hard time made her own job 10x harder.. and what the hell does she care if i make .3c on a few items!! really?? ugh.. still makes me mad thinkin about it

I understand the being frustrated at the cashier but honestly with so many new coupon frauds and discrepancies going on you do have to cut her some slack for doing her job. I used to work at Wal-Mart as a cashier and we would get written up if something was off with our coupons. We had to check them over very well to make sure they were what the coupon said they were. Could your cashier gone through them a faster, probably. But maybe she was just being careful after having already had issues with coupons in her line and been warned about them. Can’t blame her for doing her job the correct way.

It’s just so funny how stores differ so much from area to area. I have never had a problem at wal-mart and even had a clerk give me cash back on a coupon I had forgotten to give her during checkout. The worst stores I have been “harrassed” in were family dollar and dollar general, they acted like I was stealing things from them because I was using a few coupons. Just stick to the stores you are comfortable in and hope that one day the managers of the stores will retrain their employees on coupon usage! In the meantime, keep up the money saving 🙂

Stephanie, I also never have problems at Walmart. I seem to have way more problems at Target.

My walmart has 3 different types of Colgate toothpaste on sale for $1 regular size, don’t remember the oz, awesome deal though

  7. Elaine

I could not find these at my local SuperWalmart this morning. Also, they were out of the Cascade 3pks. ;-(

  8. celticmommie

I can’t find the coupon anymore…does anyone else see it?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      I don’t see it either 🙁

  9. jana

I cant find the coupon either. 🙁

  10. Jamie

I used them at walmart on the 2oz size. They were priced at 94c. 🙂

It looks like the this Colgate toothpaste coupon has somehow reset today! I just printed them this morning, and my computer let me print them twice again this evening!

  12. Ashley

Tonight I had my cashier tell me my Walmart no longer accepts computer print out coupons. I was pretty surprised and hope that’s not really the case.

  13. Laura

I went today and they didn’t see it at my Walmart (Middle TN).

  14. trailmama

didn’t see any of these in the travel section of my superwalmart in monona / madison wi. anyone see these anywhere else in the area? hoping to find the travel size soon 🙂

I agree with many posters. stick with the stores you have success at. I love our Walgreens. Folks there even help with the couponing, telling me to get this or that to make the deal sweeter. they are really the sweet ones. And CVS is a gem too. Walmart’s here – I had to call the manager who was very nice and apologized, but the clerks do not seem to be well trained on the couponing. I don’t go there anymore. Kroger’s gals are great, too.
