  2. Katie

Thanks, Collin! You’re amazing! I’m a full time college student trying to support my family and there is absolutely no way I would be able to do it without your inspiration ad hip deals! Thanks for all your hard work

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awe, you are most welcome! Thanks for being such an awesome reader! 🙂

  3. Sarah

Thanks so much for all you do Collin! You are amazing! 🙂 This the BEST Blog ever!!

  4. sarah

    Thanks Collin 🙂 You Rock!

  5. C

Thanks, Collin! Question for ya. I have a CVS coupon for a free jumbo pack of Pampers diapers. If I buy 2/$19 and use the free coupon (plus manu Pampers coups) does the full $19 still count toward the spend $30 get $10 GC deal? Thanks!

    • ckoscoe

It should, CVS takes what they scan – the full prices of the items – towards the GC deals, etc. Then, you use your coupons and EB’s to get your out of pocket down…

      • C

Thanks! I have $26 in ECBs from the BF deals too 🙂

    • Christie

I did this when they had the gas card promotion with huggies, and it worked perfectly. They still count the price of the diapers regardless of the store and MQs you have

    • kt

Yes, I have done this in the past.

  6. Tammy M. Miller

    Do you think this will work: (3) Pampers 2/$19 – (3) $1.00 off 2
    (2) Cottonelle wipes $1.99- (1) .50 off 2

Cost: $57.48 Receive: (2) $10 Gift Cards & 7th box of Pampers free

It would be like the diapers are $5.35 and the wipes are free.

    • Heather Y

      In the 10/30PG, there’s a $2/2 Pampers coupon, so here’s what I’m thinking:

      4 Glade @ .99 = $3.98
      – (2) $2/2qs = (-$4.00)
      6 Pampers @ $9.50 = $57.00
      – (3) $2/2qs = (-$6.00)
      OOP = $50.98 + tax, get $20 GCs and 7th package free
is like paying $30.98 + tax for 7 packages of diapers = $4.42 each.

Baby #4 is due in April so I’m stocking up whenever I can find diapers cheaper than Amazon sells them! 🙂

      • h bano

Can we do 2 different transactions for the same and pay for the 2nd using the giftcard from the 1st.And still get the 7th pack of diaper free.TIA

  7. C

One more question… where is the Pampers diapers/wipes $2 off coupon? thanks!

    • Kathy

      10/30 P&G

      • C

        thanks!

@mbmitchell ~ great scenario! I went to the coupon machine today and got a 25% off my next purchase…so that scenario becomes @ .86 moneymaker! Now I just have to hope I’ve got all the right coupons 🙂

      • Melissa

The % off coupons usually exclude sale items…

    • Emily

Where did you find the glade $2/2 coupon?

      • diana

i followed the link collin provided and printed it off its the cvs website. Just make sure you get the $2.00 off not the .55 off

        • Amy

Could you sweeten this further by combining the $2/2 glade CVS coupon with a glade manufacturers coupon?

      • Caryn D

It is under 90210/ Look carefully, I missed it 2 times. It says $2/2 Glade products and has a pic of a candle.

        • Malinda

Is this coupon no longer available? I have been looking several times today to make sure that I didnt miss it and I cant find it anywhere.

      • Michelle D.

its also on cvs website under their coupons

        • savedbycoupons

Just so you know…the 2 CVS coupons for the Glade spray adjusted at the register to a $2 coupon and a $1.96 coupon. It is still a free and sweet deal, but it did not ring up (2) $2 coupons.

    • susan

What is your $3.74 CG item???

      • Amy

The single eye shadows are $3.74 at my CVS

  9. Jenny

WOW! That’s a good one mbmitchell! Thanks!

What time do the CVS deals normally start? Is it 3pm Saturdays?? I can’t remember.

    • DP

      My store starts @ 4 Saturday…

  10. db

can you type in a phone number into the cvs coupon machine, or does it need a card?

    • mel

its just a scanner, so you need a card.

thanks! and does anyone know when this 3 off 10 lotion coupon expires?

  11. Maria

Hey all! I was just looking through my coupons and if you got the battery packs with the P&G coupons on them then there’s a $2 off 1 vicks coupon on there you can use towards the NyQuil this week for the gift card deal! We always need this stuff in our house so I was pretty excited to find it!

  12. diana

I have a cvs coupon for $2.00 off all baby items that printed a few weeks ago, and $2.00 off pampers.from p&g. Gonna use it with pampers deal. Great gift for baby shower thats coming up

  13. Brittany

    I’m not seeing the $2/2 glade…zip code?

  14. steffknee

just wondering, can I use a manufacturer coupon for glade in addition with the CVS $2/2 Glade products?

    • DP

YYMV on that because I think the coupon starts with a 5, which means it will “act” like a manufacturer’s coupon.

      • mel

it IS a manuf coupon, has a manuf remit address on it, so you can’t use another manuf coupon along with it.

  15. Valerie

Just a heads up. I was looking at 12/04 ads and I saw the American Greetings cards will be buy (3) receive a 3.00 ECB. This includes the 0.99 cent cards so it’s a 0.03 Money Maker. But it gets better. Currently at CVS.com you can print a 2.00 off (3) American Greetings Cards making it a 2.03 Money Maker.

    • PG

Usually the printable AG coupons exclude cards that cost less than $1.

      • Marie

CVS has new coupons on their website that when printed have their logo and they are save $2 off 3 Amer. Greeting cards and the only exclusion stated on the coupon is excludes boxed card sets. Then also there is a coupon for $3 off shopping trip when you purchase 3 Hallmark cards minimum $1.99 card price. Just a heads up in case you want to print before they disappear. Mine expire 12/25.

      • Sarah

        It only excludes boxed cards!

      • mel

this is a CVS STORE coupon, with the only exclusion being Boxed Cards.

    • Lolo

THANK YOU Valerie, hugs to you.

      • Valerie

        Oh how sweet. Thank You!!!

  16. Amanda

    CVS deal

Buy 2 Essence of Beauty Portables (make up brushes) for 1.25 each on clearance -regular 5.00 each.
Use 2.00/2 E of B coupon from Reinventing beauty
    Final cost .25 each

  17. Michelle D.

Justa heads up for yall if anyone got the Venus baskets from Walmart there were coupons at the bottom of them along with the rebate forms. There was a $2/1 oLy body wash coupon in those exp. 12/31/11… this makes the Olay body wash 2$

    • savedbycoupons

Just so you know, I got my rebate check for the basket I paid $10 for, but they sent me a letter for the one I bought for $9 saying the rebate was more than the item price and they would not be sending rebates on those. I didn’t get the magazine with it either….BUMMER!!!!!

      • Dani

You would think they would at least adjust the rebate down and give you the $9 paid!

      • misty

This happened to me too. I bought two of the $9 and they sent me a letter saying it exceeds the limit thats kinda bs if you ask me. They didnt even offer the magazine or anything. They should send that as a courtesy bc they arent willing to give the rebate which they offered in the first place. Oh well I guess. If anyone gets anywhere on this, please comment. Thanks 🙂

      • wendy

same thing happened to me. first time I did it worked great. tried it again and got a letter saying I wouldn’t get money.

        • kidsallgone

So…..I’m thinking of returning all of mine to walmart. I jumped on the deal, buying 4, expecting to get the rebate. No rebate = returning all of them. Olay & Walmart are the losers here. And I guess I am too 🙁
Thanks for all those comments 🙂

  18. Kathy

If you need Pampers, the gift card and the CVS buy 6, get a 7th free is a good combo for this week.
    -Buy 6 diapers @ 2/$19 = $57
    -Use (3) $2/2 coupons from 10/30 P&G (EXPIRE 11/30!!) OR (3) $1/2 from the 11/27 P&G
    -OOP = $51 (with $2 c’s or $54 with $1 c’s)
-Come back approx. 2 days later for FREE diaper coupon to print at machine
    -Gift card total = $66.50 so you’ll get (2) $10 gift cards

-Net total $31 for 7 packs of diapers

For comparison’s sake, size 4’s are 31 count, so $0.14/diaper.

    • jackie

And, you might still be able to snag the bonus $5 on every $25 CVS gift card Collin posted about the other day- I think it runs thru Monday. So you could buy a $25gc and get $30 to CVS…then use that $30 + another $20OOP bringing your OOP down to $45 and your per-diaper to $.11.

Or, if you have anything else to buy at CVS, you could buy $50 of CVS gift cards, get $10 bonus cash and technically you could reduce your OOP to $21, bringing those diapers to just a little over $.09 each!!

(It’s a good thing we don’t have kids yet, or I’d have a shameless stockpile of diapers in the closet, attic, and basement.)

    • JOY

need some help with this deal please! i don’t understand the gift card total is $66.50 and the net total being $31. please explain or if you can just help me out with what i want to do…. buy the 6 packs like you but I’m also buying one thing of wipes that are on sale for $2.49 b/c I will use CVS coupons of $4 off for buying diapers and wipes, and $1 off coupon for just wipes. (hoping they take both!)
      THANKS!!!!!!

  19. Lori

I got a $4off diapers and wipes coupon from the machine yesterday! so that will make for a really great deal on diapers… and it can go towards my $30 for the gift card 🙂

    • C

Nice! NOw can you use that and manu coups?

      • Jaclyn

Yes you can use a CVS coupon & a manuf coupon per item. 😉

  20. Brittany

    I’ve got my scenario:

    2 Pampers Jumbo Packs @ 2/$19
—use (1) 2.00 off coupon from 10/30 PG
—use (1) Free Jumbo Pack CVS coupon
    1 Tide @5.96
    —use (1) 2.00 off coupon from 10/30PG
    4 Glade Air Freshners @ .99 a piece
    —use (2) $2/2 Glade Coupons
    2 Dawn @ .99 a piece
—use (2) .50 off one Dawn from 10/30 PG

Use $4 off $20 CVS Coupon

    Total oop $8 + change
    Get a $10 GC back!

    • C

I’m going to do something similar except instead of the Tide I’m planning on getting the Pampers wipes.

  21. Theresa

Does anyone know if I can use my ecb’s to pay for gift cards?

    Thanks 🙂

    • Nicole

Do you mean using ECBs to buy a gift card. I’m sure you are not allowed to do that.

    • Tonya

My store Manager says, No! Also no to beer, stamps and cigerettes.

    • Andi

Unfortunately, the ECBs themselves state on them that they exclude gift cards, and lots of other things 🙁

  22. Nicole

I’m so excited for the covergirl deal! It’s a BOGO 50% off. My CVS takes expired coupons that are expired within 30 days. So I’m going to use a $8 off two Covergirl cosmetics 🙂

    • Marcia

Really . . . I may have to ask my store! Where do you live?

      • Nicole

        Long Island, New York

  23. Angie

1st I want say thank you Collin for all your wonderful matchups. I have a question anyone having trouble couponing at CVS? The reason I ask is because tonight I had the worst experince there. It was soo bad that they would not even take manufacture coupon. It was the Gift set coupons I printed from coupons.com they claim they could not take them because they said redeamable at Walmart. The Manager stated this. I explained over and over again reading them the fine print about how to redeam them from the manufature. It was a no go. Like this wasnt bad enough they began to tell me that any coupon that states 1 coupon per purchase can only be rang up in one transaction. I mean come on thats like saying we have to have a new trans. for ever coupon we use. I could talk no since to these people. Then I got to the botom of the whole situation. They told me they were being coupon audited and people were gettting fired. This woman was scared to death that she was going to loose her lively over coupons. That is just sad

    • mel

CVS recently changed their coupon policy to not accept coupons with other store logos on it. But.. of the 2 stores I frequent, so far one store will accept q’s with other store logos, but if it says ‘redeem at’, its a no-go. The other store won’t take them with a store logo or if it says ‘redeem at’

      • Angie

So is it not a manufactuer’s coupon even though it says manufactuers I thought that the redeamable statement was only a sudjection, you and advert for the company? It read redeamable at walmart.

      • Cortney Van Weerdhuizen

Yes I had problems on Thursday with the Theraflu Q (printable) that is $2.00 and the Revlon Q (walmart insert) for a $1.00. She wouldn’t adjust the q to $1.87 for the Theraflu and wouldn’t accept the $1.00 q’s at all bc they are from the “wal-mart paper”…..I tried to explain that they are manu. coupons and she said the same thing that loss prevention has come in due to fraud and theft and if she scans these coupons, she could be fired? Sad they are threatening them with their jobs. I went to another CVS and had no problem? Anyone else heard of what Mel is saying above?? Would love to know before I go in with coupons for deals I want to get and them not accept them!

        • mel

It is a manuf coupon… but the way it was explained to me is if a shopper uses a cpn that says ‘redeem at WM’ at a different store (in this case CVS), the manuf can deny reimbursement b/c of the agreement between the store & manuf. I guess the store gets kickback from the manuf for so many redeemed coupons with their logo on it.
IDK… doesn’t make much sense, but I’m not going to argue over a few dollars. Either I find another coupon w/out a store logo (or says redeem at X store), or I pass on the deal!

    • Cw

I went into an Orlando CVS on Friday and used the $1.50 off manufact coupon on M&M Mars candy that said redeemable at Walmart, no problems! But last week I had an Asst Mgr tell me at another CVS that they only took printable coupons in color (not true, called corporate, Asst mgr is being spoken to). So I guess even though there is a corporate policy they aren’t all trained equally… How frustrating for us all!

    • Lolo

      Angie,
It happens at virtually every store now and then. Try going to a different store if you can or go on another day and time and try again. We have all had similar things happen if you have been couponing for any length of time. Cheer up, brush it off and check it up to learning curve 🙂

      • angie

Thank you Lolo for your positive outlook I needed that

  24. jmartcougar

I have several $2 off any 2 scrubbing bubble coupons so i plan to stock up and get the gc yay!

  25. Sari

I have 2 questions regarding the nature made vitamins as part of the gift card scenario…

    1. if they are b1g1 can you use 2 1/1 coupons?
    2. will the price of both be calculated into your total for the $30.00 or just the one that you are actually being charged for?

    Thanks for any help 🙂

    • mel

No, cvs changed their policy, you can’t use a coupon on a free item anymore.
And only the price of the 1st item will count, the free one shows up as 0.00.

  26. Tamera

I have two CVS stores withing 9 miles and one takes coupons that are Manufactures but state redeem at “another store” the other one will not. I think it depends on the manager of each store. I got a great deal with the $5 off perfume gift sets. They were BOGO for $19.99 and I had two $5 off coupons and one $5 off cvs coupon. Got two nice Christmas gifts for under $6.00.
Thanks Collin for your work and information, this helps many!

  27. Michelle

    My plan is:
    8 pantene $27.88
    4 glade $3.96
    Total $31.84
    4 pantene $3/2 q -12
    2 glade $2/2 q -3.96
    $15.88 oop get $10 gc
    5.88 for 12 items $0.49 each
Not necessarily a great price for shampoo, but not bad considering there haven’t been very many good deals lately.

  28. Amy

Where are the cottonelle whip coupons at??

    • kidsallgone

Yeh, some of those Cottenelles feel like a “whip!” LOL!
(sorry, couldn’t resist….I know you meant to say “wipe”)

  29. Megan

Thanks for the great match-ups! I bought five Tide Free & Clear and one Dawn and used 5 $2 off Tide (4 from P&G circular and one from Facebook that was mailed as to not violate their 4 like coupon rule…) and one .50 off Dawn coupon, paid $20.29 oop (before ECBs from prior weeks were applied, it was less than $10 oop after EBCs) and received a $10 B&N gc for my BIL. 🙂 Thanks for helping me give like Santa while stocking up on laundry detergent!

  30. mizzy

I was able to do this deal this morning.
    (4) Tide = $23.76
    (6) Glade Sprays = $5.94
    —————-
    TOTAL = $29.70
    – $5 (CVS $5 off $25 purchase)
    – $8 (4 x $2/1 tide mq from P&G)
    – $4 (2 x $2/2 glade ip)
–$1.94 ($2/2 glade ip adjusted down)
    —————- $10.76
I paid less than $12 including tax and got $10 Amex GC!!! 🙂

    • Shannon

How did you get the $10 AMEX GC if you didn’t spend the minimum $30 (pre-discount above said $29.70)?

      • mizzy

The GC will prompt as long as it is close to $30…i think within 50 cents.

        • Shannon

          That’s awesome!

  31. mira

This is a great week for cvs 🙂

    • kidsallgone

      Hmmmm…..what am I missing????
Doesn’t seem like a “great week” to me 🙁
But…I did score an amazing haul Saturday @ my CVS!
I had misplaced my binder and I had ECBs that had expired in Oct as well as some in Nov and the manager said that she would take them “this time.” 🙂
I can’t tell you how happy that made me!
But after such great Black Friday (on Saturday) bargains, I’m officially spoiled at all the freebies + money making transactions. I guess that’s why I think this week ain’t so great 😉

Off topic: I bought a huge pizza (for $26) from a locally owned place on Saturday about 9pm with my American Express card, and 5 minutes later, I received an email saying, “Congratulations…..etcetc” in regards to getting a $25 credit in my next month’s statement! YAY!! Thanks for the tip for that awesome deal Collin!!

  32. Heather

I tried to do the 3/11 Dr. Pepper at my CVS, and she said they weren’t on sale and didn’t earn ECB…did anyone else have this problem? I didn’t know if maybe the sale was regional?

    • Marie

I didn’t do this as a purchase but my ad has A&W, Sunkist and 7Up 12pks on the 3/$11 with $3 EB. My ad doesn’t say anything about Dr. Pepper.

    • jmartcougar

I got the 3 Dr. Pepper and the 3 ECB printed here in Houston!

    • Ashley

I did it also today and it didnt print for me either. I was thinking it was regional also. Im returning them tomm cause even with a $1.00 peelie coupon i had-still wasnt a good deal. 4.16 for a 12 pack is way way way too much.

  33. jane

my cvs deal 11/27/11. 2 tide 1puffs 1dawn 1durcell 4glade 1hvranch 1vicks, used coupons for everything but hvranch and puffs and used 16.50 in eb from tks day shopping trip. paid 14.76 received 1giftcardplus 5.00 in ebucks. was aGREATTRIP>

  34. Ann Leblanc

I have been interested in getting the ProFX from Olay. The rebate referenced excludes the ProFX. I wish I could get a good deal on this product.

  35. Colleen

Do you have to make all your purchases ($30) at one time to qualify for the $10 gift card or can you come back during the week or go to another store. Sometimes it is difficult to find multiples of an item especially if it is a good deal.

    • Marie

No, you can go several times throughout the week if needed. Just go by Sat. of that week. I went yesterday and purchased items and then at the bottom of my receipt it told me how much I was away from the $30 card at the bottom of the receipt. I relooked the ad over, gathered my coupons and went back today and purchased just enough to get the card. I love this promotion!

  36. rachel

I got the 25% off this week but it doesn’t work on sale items. Does that exclude everything in the circular or cab I use it to buy $30 worth of tide and get $ 10 giftcard?

  37. edy

I went to cvs saturday night I started with 14 bucks and 2 gcards 10 each / did 3 transaccions no shelfs cleared my manager shows me the ad. As. Soon as he gets it to circle what we have cpns for so he can order plenty so I got cpns I buy 20 papers at .99 cent store 1.49 and have many friends that cpn too we share cpns! So I bought 30 dawn and 10 tide and candy canes and icycles and a lysol 9.99 cpn 3 off so total was 110.43 after cpns and bucks and 2 gift cards I paid $38.00 cash got back 30 on 3 gift cards and 5 bucks for lysol so Iike I paid 3dlrs / and its in houston other cvs there so bad with customers and their own employees but yes there is customers that give wrong cpns with new employees and that’s the reason there watching the cpns and so they don’t mind if anybody shops as long as they don’t get in trouble even the district manager comes to store once a week!! Into the store but good luck to everybody!! And to all my friends sharing is caring!!

  38. Mike

I received a $5 off $25 offer (exp 11/26) in my email, and used it on Black Friday deals. I went back to it again to see if it would print again, and it did, with an expiration of 11/28 now. Can I use it again, or is it once per email per week?

    • mel

no, you can’t use it again, the register will say it was already redeemed.

  39. Mel

I did the following deal – 2 Pampers, 2 Dawn soaps, 1 Tide, and 3 Puff tissues. I used the following coupons – (2) $1.50 off Pampers from back of Cheerios box, (2) 50 cents off Dawn, $2/1 Tide, 25 cents off 3 Puff tissues, and $5 off $25 store coupon. I already had a $10 CVS gift card so I used that. I paid $10.32 with tax for 8 things and I have a new $10 CVS gift card to go back to get more!!!

Does anyone know if you can just buy 1 Pampers for $9.50?? Or do you have to buy two to get that price?

Thanks Collin for posting deal scenarios!

    • mel

yes, you can buy 1 pampers for $9.50 🙂

  40. edy

Mike I think u can use it again ur cpn cvs because it has. A different expiration date I had asked my manager and he said yes all emails and cpns have different codes and if not good the cash register will not accept it actually the more u shop the more they reward u right now the cvs machine is giving a cpn 5 of 2 almays and its buy 2 get 4 bucks back and 3 of 15 in baby stuff pampers to get and the machine actually prints them again if we didn’t use their cpns again so I know a lady that shops cvs atmost everyday and cvs machine is so nice to her!! She gets all kinds of frebbies!! With bucks and cpns!!

  41. Amy

Are the Gummy Vitamins really Buy one get one free? The ad I’m looking at says buy one get one 50% off. I need to stock up. My kids will only take the Disney gummies.

  42. Malinda

Just an FYI…If any of you have the coupon booklet found in the Pampers boxed diapers, there is a $1 off Dawn dish soap w/ Olay hand Renewal making it free this week. I was able to snag 4 by opening up all my boxes of diapers.

  43. amanda

Can someone PLEASE explain more about how to use the $10 gift card once it prints on receipt. Can you just say can i use this to buy a $10 cvs gift card? thanks sooo much

    • JOY

i just did it for the first time today and thought the same thing, how does this work. when my receipt came out it was at the bottom just like ECB usually are and she asked me which one i wanted (there are a few to choose from, listed in the deals above) and i picked and she activated it right then and there! hope that helps!

      • JOY

what do yo mean? i have the receipt that says it loaded $10, does the money come out when you go to make a purchase? please let me know, if that the truth, i’m exchanging!!!!!!

        • jen

if you get the Amex gift card as a result of the “buy $30” promotion, there is no activation fee – that’s the card I choose too, so we can use it at the movies, for gas, or whatever. If you “buy” an Amex gift card (from the gift card center), there are activation fees. There are 2 different types of cards. HTH!

  45. Stacy

Visited the coupon center yesterday and I got a coupon for $5.00 off 2 almay color products.

I found a pretty great deal today on the Almay Intense i-Color, and I wanted to share in case anyone else is interested in it! As mentioned in this post, they are on sale this week for $5.99, and you get $4 ECB when you purchase $10. A coupon for $5 off any 2 Almay Color Cosmetics printed for me from the Magic Coupon Machine (I realize this may not print for everyone), and at my local store, the eye shadow sets had $2 mfr. coupons attached to them! I bought 2 eye shadows for $5.99 each; I used 2 $2/1 coupons and the $5/2 CVS coupon. I paid $2.98 and received $4 ECB back!
