  • Beth says:

Thanks for the match ups! In my Thanksgiving day news paper there was a $3/2 any Durcell Battery coupon that would make the deal a little sweeter! Ecspecially with christmas around the corner and EVERYTHING takes batteries! HAHAHA! Thanks again!

  • Marly says:

Your matchups are the only one I wait for every Saturday night. Thank you so much; you’re the best.

  • Melissa Marie says:

    Hey Colin,

Thanks. The Jollytime Popcorn is actually a money-maker if you are a member of Saving Star. The link you posted is to Saving Star for $.50 plus the $.50 coupon to use in the star makes 2 singles FREE + $.10, please correct me if I’m wrong. :)

    • Melissa Marie says:

OOps. I meant to say “in the store.”

    • toni says:

melissa, i just signed up for saving star! i cant wait to start saving.

      • michele says:

what is saving star and where do i sign up at

        • Christina says:

saving star is a website that you can load local grocery store, rite aid,cvs savings cards onto to save more. If you buy the items, the coupon you load on saving star will go into your wesite account. You have chioces to get that money, example..paypal account once you reach $5. You still use your MQ’a at the register too, so it’s like stacking only the saving star does not come right off, but into your account. I just load them all and if I happen to buy the items then I earn without even thinking about it. Go to collins top of page, under coupons click saving star and it will take you to the website. :)

  • Victoria says:

Does anybody have a good scenario for the spend $50 get $10 back? I noticed some of the items that qualify you for that also have ups themselves.

  • Susan says:

My No Nonsense November Video Value was good for $2.00 off. So that should make for an even better deal on the Great Shapes, Great Shapes Tights, Silk Indulgence and/or Smart Support.

  • Marcia says:

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your holiday. I give THANKS for you and your site!!

  • 4happyfolks says:

Ok newbie…..? What is saving star? Can you give some details? Thanks for all of you help!!

  • Paola says:

    Hi Collin,

Thanks for all the great deals. I just got back from Rite Aid with this coming week’s ad and noticed there is a $10 dollar off any fragrance priced $26.99 and up! Combine this with the Heat Rush by Beyonce Coupon for $5 or the Heidi Klum $5 coupon for Shine and you have a nice christmas gift for $11.99!! Both coupons are in the November issue of All You!!

    • Susan says:

Is it just the Beyonce bottle of Heat Rush that is $10 off or does it include the full size gift sets as well?

      • Paola says:

Hi susan I think that it can also apply for gift sets but I’m not sure. The $10 in ad coupon states $10 dollars off fragrances and only shows bottles not sets.

    • Ashley says:

Holiday fragrance gift sets are on sale this week for Buy 1 get 1 50% off. I guess the only way you could use the $10/1 in-ad coupon would be is if the gift set cost over $26 you could try it and it would be YMMV.

At my store, Beyonce Heat is $34.99 so it would be $19.99 after in-ad coupon and $5/1 All-You coupon.

  • Sarah says:

I just did the Wahl promo the other day because we ran our clippers into the ground. You can print out a $5 rebate form here:

    http://www.wahlhomeproducts.com/images/uploads/90001-1111-13012genweb1.pdf

I took the rebate form with me to make sure the clippers I bought were eligible for the rebate. I got the Chrome Pro for $30 OOP + $10+UP + $5 rebate = $15 Wahl clippers! They are really nice too and have a 5 year warranty. :)

  • Ashley says:

hmmmmm I’m looking though my coupons and I don’t see the ferbreze noticeable 2/1 coupon :( BUT I’m not sure if it’s the 2/1 candle coupon? Thats the only coupon that I can find that expires 11/30/11 but I’m not sure if I just didn’t clip the coupon or not…if anyone can let me know please do! Thanks, Happy shopping :)

  • Alla says:

I have a question regarding the 10% dscount that Rie Aid offers. I reached the 500 points mark, it’s above 500 actually, but I don’t see the 10% discount on my bill. Everytime I shop I wonder when would that be applied. Can anyone please tell me how that works. Thank you so much. Thanks, Collin for all you do. Have a great weekend everyone

    • Ashley says:

well, it’s only applied to non-sale items so that may be why, trust me it took me sooooo long to figure that out myself ;) lol

      • karol says:

you get the sale price or the discount whichever is cheapest. I get 20% and sometimes it messes you up cause the discount is cheaper so your scenerios come out wrong

    • Christina says:

That messed me up many times too. Everytime I got one, except once, it never took the % off. Problem is they scanned and took it and it was then no longer valid. I asked before handing it over too, and the cashier said it would take it right off, but didn’t. I wasnt happy being it was entire purchase and wasted each time. They wouldn’t even replace it :( I dont listen to them anymore, most times they dont even know.

  • Pam says:

Hello everyone, I hope all of you had a happy Thanksgiving. Colin I want to thank you for all your hard work and making it possible for us to become knowledgeable about couponing. I was glad you were able to post the Black Friday listing early. I’d informed my brothers about the HP all-n-one printer for $19.00. They were looking for something at reasonable price and they love HP products. Keep up the good work. Have a Blessed day!!

  • Beth says:

There is an even better deal on batteries! The 24 pk Duracell in on sale for $9.95 in yhe ad. Use the $1 exp 11/30, plus use the $3 RA coupon from flu shot coupon booklet. =$5.95 for 24 batteries (compared to $2.74 for 8 on the other battery deal)

  • Candace says:

Can someone remind me. Can I get one of the noticables since I only have 1 coupon and still get the 2 for $5 price, or do I have to buy 2?

  • Liset says:

    Hello Collin,
I have a question on a coupon and a deal at rite aid. In the P&G insert 11/27 there is a coupon for $5.00 off buy ONE Gillette Fusion ProGlide Cartridge, get $5.00 off ONE Gilette Fusion ProGlude Razor. My question is and sorry if it sounds dumb but do you get $5.00 off each or $5.00 on one? Thanks in advance.

  • nancy says:

is there anyone out there that could tell me how to get the rebate on the oil of olay gift set? the allure.com/go/holiday site listed but unable access it. thank you.

  • Beth says:

Ok, i am ticked. I got up this morning and went to RA. There were 3 items in the ad advertised with a single check rebate that I bought. I just looked and they are not valid till 11/30. Then why he heck is it in the ad? And why does it not say…not valid until 11/30? Taking it all back and telling them. I am mad! Its a waste of my time and my gas…and my coupons bc I won’t get those back!!!!! Ugh!!!!

    • Susan says:

Beth, I am with you –that does seem wrong. What were the items?

      • Beth says:

The oral b toothbrush, the duracell batteries, and the eclos facial products.

        • Beth says:

I plan on placing a call into their corp. Office tomorrow about it.

        • Melissa says:

I think you should be OK for the Oral B Cross Action TB as the ad states 11/27-12/3, but it really sucks for the other two…. :(

          • Beth says:

Scr paper says dec rebates start 11/30, i am confused.

            • mel says:

have you been RA’ing for long? Just asking b/c RA changed their SCR rebate period back in August or September. (it now ends the tuesday of the last week of the month and Wed starts the new SCR period) I know it is confusing and the ad SHOULD state the SCR purchase dates, esp when the previous months SCR is still active until Tuesday! But since the ad does say to ck the directory for more info, they assume the customer will. Oh, and the tags will have the purchase dates on them as well. I always double ck, b/c I’ve *almost* bought something on a Sunday, only to realize what I want to buy won’t count for the SCR until Wed.

I would talk to the manager, very calmy!, and hopefully you can do a return w/o receipt and rebuy the items with the correct purchase dates to submit for the Dec SCR.

  • Kristina McAuliffe says:

Thanks Collin!!! Your one deal at a time convincing my husband couponing is worth it. hehehe The Jolly Time popcorn was only 69 cents at my rite aid. As he made some I laughed and told him it taste even better when it’s only 10 cents. I didn’t know about saving star it could have been a money maker for me. I’m still learning thanks to you and your readers.

  • Emily says:

I think the math might be off a little on the Duracell deal…if they are $5.74, and get $1SCR and $1UPR, plus .75 coupon, then that would be $2.96, not $2.74.

    Or did I miss something?

Went to Rite Aid today. Got the vivitar camcorder! Got the Old Spice BOGO (w/coupon) and they had some with bonus antiperspirant. Everything I bought was directly from the list.I spent $85.01, got $24 +Up Rewards, and several one check rebates!

The only bummer was they would not give me the flu shot coupon booklet. I did point out that it was supposed to be no purchase necessary, but the pharmacist said no.

Has anyone been able to get the flu coupon booklet without getting their flu shot there?

My 11/6 SS Jolly Time coupon is $1/2 boxes, so I guess that won’t work on the singles. Has anyone confirmed the $0.50 in your Saving Star account for just buying two single packs? It says “1 Jolly Time product,” but I’m paranoid it won’t credit for just a single pack. Thanks!

  • mel says:

    I bought -
    4 Jolly Time popcorn singles – .69 each x2 (2 free w/sale) – 2 .50/1 q’s
    1 St Joseph’s Aspirin $4.99 – $1 q
    2 Hershey Kisses 2/$5 – $1/2 q + $1/2 VV
    2 Sunsweet Prunes 2/$5 (dh is on a prune kick… ;) ) – $1/2 q
    used $10 in UPs
    Paid 2.22 w/tax

I’m hoping the Jolly Time credits for Saving Star b/c the ones I bought are
“healthy pop” and that’s what’s on my receipt. Still a good deal at .10/pack!

  • HELP! I am totally confused! I watched a couple videos about the UP rewards and I am still really confused. I have two $2 off UP rewards from last weeks purchases. I planned on buying one Tide Laundry Detergent this week for 5.97, then using a 2$ off 1 coupon to get it for 3.97, then using one of my $2 UP rewards to make the final cost 1.97. However, I then saw that the UP reward says Manufacturers Coupon at the bottom of it. Does this mean I can only buy products that I am not using a coupon with already? Or can I use all my coupons and then deduct the UP rewards off the total of whatever is left from my transaction. Help please :) I am really new to Rite-aid shopping. Thanks.

It works as cash except for Alcohol, Cigarettes, Lotto I don’t know about other exclusions. But if your subtotal is 99c you couldn’t use a 1 up. Subtotal $1.00 you could use 1 Up. I just wanted to include that becasue every week I end up finding a .50c or less candy item to be able to use my Up’s most effeciently.

I bought the vivitar camcorder they have listed in circular (model 401) and it did not qualify for the $10 rebate but I did get the $5 up reward. bummer

    • pamc says:

I bought the vivitar camera model 401 and I got a $5.00 rebate instead of the $10.00 rebate. The $10.00 rebate was for the •5.1MP Digital Video Recorder
      •8.1MP Digital Camera
I need to pay more attention. Bummer is right

My rite aid allows multiple vv coupons per trans not sure if they all do. But the was vv for the vaporizers last month and this month so I go 4 vaporizers( I have 8 kids and 5 bedrooms) good gifts for new moms though. They were $17.49 before my 20% or $13.99 after then I had 2 $1.50 off coupons found inside of a vicks product plus 4 $5 off vaporizer from vv. So my oop was $31 but this qualified me for the $10 vick up and the $10 star savings:) so I paid $31 and got back $20 I also used 2 free puffs wyb 2 vicks. I saw someone had asked about how star saving senario this is how I did it and was quite happy:)

    • terri says:

how did you use 4 vv? it’s one per card, so even if you have multiple cards, you can only use one for each.

Does anyone know if the Hedi Klum $5 cpns can be used on the small gift sets. I found some for 10.99 than bygo 50% then use two $5 cpns would make this a very sweet deal.

I bought the Oral B 3d white action power toothbrush for the $2.99 SCR. However, the printed December rebate directory and the online directory do no show this rebate! They do show this rebate being valid for purchases between January 1 and January 7 2012, not Nov 27 to 12/3 as in the weekly ad. Now I am going to have to return the toothbrush!

    • Beth says:

I bought my toothbrush sunday. I already submitted my scr and it did qualify!!!!

      • Glenn says:

Apparently that was under the November rebate program and not December. Unfortunately I had already submitted my November rebate request on Nov 30, thinking that this week’s ad was for items in the December program. This is very confusing.

    • Jodi says:

Yep, my rebate didn’t go through either. In the rebate book, it says it is for product purchased between 1/1/12-1/7/12. Then why is it in the December rebate book??? Taking mine back!

  • Stacie says:

I tried to go for the $5 Up when you spend $25 from page 20 of this weeks ad. I used coupons on all of the items I purchased, which brought my actual total down below $25. I did not get the $5 Up reward, my receipt didn’t even give me a total of how much of my purchase went towards this Up. Anyone else have this problem?

  • Kim says:

The Vivtar flip camera apparently does not qualify for the $10.00 SCR in the November rebate list, but you get a $5.00 SCR in the list for December. Mine just showed up today on the RA website.

    So…purchase price of $24.99, you get $5+Ups and $5SCR = $14.99 after +Ups and SCR.

    • K says:

I was just wondering about that… Why does it not qualify for the November rebate???

    • Jodi says:

I did this deal too and got rejected for the $10 rebate and was planning on taking it back. The next day then I saw that I was given a $5 rebate for the December rebates even though I bought it in November. I was hoping for the $10 SCR but I’ll take the $5 as it is a gift for my 9 year old. $10-15 for a “toy” is not so bad. It was a little unclear though in the add!

  • Hampshire says:

Vivitar Digital Video Recorder w/ Flip Style Viewer $24.99
Get a $10 Single Check Rebate #7 (only valid thru 11/29!)
    Get a $5 +Up Reward (limit 2 offers)
    Final Cost $9.99!

I guess it’s my fault so not double checking myself, but the Vivitar only qualifies for the $5 SCR :( I would not have bought it for $14.99 but now I hate to return it because I received an UP for it. Any suggestions?
