Wow, what a box of Lego… This is bigger than I expected, I thought that maybe it would have all small parts in it, but there is a good number of full size bricks here, as well as special parts like prited bricks with eyes and other things. There are some flat plates, some round, some 1×6 and 1×8 type bricks and flats as well as 2×2, 2×4, 2×6, & 2×8 bricks and flats.
Plenty of bricks to keep a kid busy for a long time.
I have three young kids, two of whom can play with this. My 6 year old loves the huge buildings and towers you can make with this, the options are nearly endless. My 3 year old is learning the Lego system and loves trying to copy my 6 year old. 🙂
Lego normally costs about 10 cents a brick, but sometimes is as cheap as 5 cents a brick, so any price below $160 is normal and any price below $80 is an outright steal for this set.

This is actually the smaller 200 piece set, so you are getting way more bang for your buck with the deal I highlighted since it includes over 1,600 pieces for the same price! 🙂
The 200 piece set is for the big duplo Legos (for the younger kiddos). The bricks Legos are smaller and probably not appropriate for kids under 4.

Oh! So excited! Saw this on slickdeals.net for $30 on Friday and bought it. I wasn’t sure how amazing of a deal it was as my boys are 4 and 2 and the 4 year old is just really starting to get out of the duplo stage, so I bought it. Glad to see it is such a heck of a deal!!!

This is a great set because it doesn’t have to be specific as to what children build (I hate that!!!), and it isn’t character/movie based like so many of the sets out there. If we didn’t already have too many legos, I’d go for it!

Got one!! I added $6 worth of home stuff to have it shipped for free to my door. 🙂 Look for things that you will always use, like garbage bags, zip loc bags, paper towel or toilet paper. Band-aids are $1.87…
I would have picked it up at the store but the closest one is 45 minutes away and with the gas and all wouldn’t have been worth it… 🙂

Thanks for posting! My husband and sorted our grown boys’ Legos into 25+ sets and not one of them was complete! I’m sure this will have many of the missing pieces and be much cheaper!

I have a 10 year old and a 5 year old, so the sets we have aren’t big enough for them to big the bigger things that they want to build. This should set them up quite nicely for quite awhile! :=D
