Did you do this through CardStore.com? Do they really give you free postage on ALL of the cards you buy or only a certain quantity? TIA

Have you used them before? Do they actually send them to your recipients for free?

    • melissa

      thanks!

    • Angela

THANK YOU! I was able to get 15 cards (couldn’t get 16 for some reason) along with several other items that I had credit for, all shipped for free! I wouldn’t have known about the free shipping or the free cards without your post. Thanks again!

    • Megan♥

GREAT deal! 🙂 Thanks for posting.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much for the info on Shutterfly! really needed that free shipping code!!

    • Rose

karma5 code did not work for me today. I don’t know why

  4. Becky

I can’t figure out how the cards are free….my total was $39 and the coupon code was only worth $34. So w/ shipping it’s $11 for 20 cards 🙁 Am I missing something?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Did you choose the recycled paper?

      • Elizabeth Fox

yes i chose the recycled paper and it still charged me $11 as well…

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I used the recyclable paper and the coupon code and I still had to pay $11

    • Lyn

Mine is the same thing….total cost before coupon is $39 and after coupon is $34…so it is not free… 🙁

    • char

FYI…I had to to live chat with customer svc as it was wanting to charge me 11.96 and they said they would issue $5.00 credit back to card….

      • Christina

I just tried the online chat, and the lady shut me down. Said the extra 5 bucks was a design charge and she could not give me a refund. I ordered the exact same card as shown in the picture. I think it’s a bate and switch! Cards look nice, but deceptive advertising for sure.

  5. Rose

I would like professional photos for my cards. But how do you get a portrait cd without paying dearly for it? Anyone know of any offers?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Find a photographer that gives out the DVD. I do! 🙂

      • Rose

I know I’m weird, but I don’t want to purchase any pictures from them. Would they still give out the DVD?

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It depends on the photographer. Some will not give out the DVD, some will but charge extra. I charge a flat fee of $150 which includes the images on a DVD.

        • Sheryl

I know of a guy down in Galveston that does photos and gives u the disc…..

    • Tracy

There was a deal in Parents magazine I think for sears portraits f

    • Meghan

Check Craigslist under Services and type in photo or photography – I have found people that do it free or really cheap and will give you a CD – be careful – they are not all good.

For my daughter’s Senior pics (high school) I paid someone from CL $75 for 3 hours and 3 different locations – the picture were amazing!! She just had her college Senior pics taken for free and they were not as good.

As family or friends that have a nice camera to help you out, that would be my next step.

    • Tammi

We got a nice Nikon camera and a tripod so now we just take all of our own photos and save a ton of money since we have 3 little guys under 6.

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Mine wasn’t free either. My total came to $36.50 making it $9. 🙂 Still a good deal. Thanks Collin!

  7. amy

hmmm…. kind of a catch 22. You can either do this deal which ends up being $5 for the cards and then $5.99 for the shipping or doing the code CARDS30FS for 30% off holiday cards and free shipping. The cost for cards ends up being the same. I tried both ways and the total comes out around $11 each way. Not sure if I want to send a 5 x 7 card vs. the longer 4 x 8 card. what to do what to do. haha

  8. Robyn

it depends on the cards you pick. mine were $2 after the code, before shipping. My friend just did her’s and they were totally free. Trying picking another style card

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the shutterfly deal!!! I will not order even free prints or cards from snapfish. I placed side by side orders w/ shutterfly and the difference in quality is amazing. The snapfish prints were all washed out and looked terrible!

  10. chris

Can you order more than one set?

    • chris

Placing two seperate orders is still a good price, but is it one coupon code per account?

  11. Tracy

There was a coupon in parents magazine for sears portraits for a 10×13 a sheet with a 5×7 and 4 wallets and a single image CD for $10 with no session fee and they can be different poses. Not too bad if you can resist buying extra. I bought 2 other sheets and spent a total of $26.

  12. megan

try the festive penguin design. it was free for me. you have to get one that is 45 cents, there aren’t many of them. those come up to 34.00 exactly, and they are free all you pay is tax and shipping.

  13. Tracy

When you are searching thru the cards on the left hand side you can sort by price. Click on snapfish basic and that will show you all the $.45 cards.

  14. melissa

thanks. 🙂 It was 9.00 which was still a good deal for me. 🙂 thanks for posting! 🙂

  15. char

FYI…I had to to live chat with customer svc as it was wanting to charge me 11.96 and they said they would issue $5.00 credit back to card….

  16. Aimee

I did two separate orders which allowed me to get the discount for each order:-) The total ended up being 8.65 for each order (5.99 for shipping plus tax). I can’t wait for my cards! I think they are going to look amazing!

  17. Sheryl

Mine are ending up 11.90 also. And when I stop and think 5×7= more postage. Not for me…

    • Megan♥

      5X7 is standard postage rate.

  18. Corrine

THANKS FOR THE SHUTTERFLY TIP! love THEM & GOT THE DEAL!! 🙂

  19. julie

I have 4 emails for deals like these (thus, 4 snapfish accounts)…all I can say is YIPPEE!!!! I just finished ordering my 80 cards for under $25! I have to say, this is the least I have spent on photo cards. Thanks for the smokin deal!!

  20. Sara

I don’t get it…the cards (in Collins post) are $39. The discount is $34 and then you pay 5.99 shipping. Is $11 for 20 cards a good deal?

  21. tru187

It worked for me when I ordered mine 3 days ago, it subtracted $39. I’m guessing they changed the discount. You could also try selecting the 100-lb stationery cardstock, it will come out to $34 or less.

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It doesn’t matter whether you use 100 or 130 card stock! If you use 130, you get $34.00 off the order. If you use 100 card stock, it gives you a $30.00 rebate. I did it both ways and my total didn’t change ($9.17). Still IMO, a pretty good deal, as I’ve paid $1.00/card with 1-2 pics on it. If you do the math, that’s about .45 cents a card, with potentially many pics on it.

  23. Marie Ruehl

You need to choose the basic snapfish cards, the premium ones are more expensive and will cost extra. There is an option when you are selecting the cards to view only 5 x 7’s, basic, one pict, two, etc. Try this and it should be free except for shipping

  24. Heather

Thanks, great price for cardstock cards! I don’t know that everyone is paying attention to the fact that these are much higher end cardstock prints, not just photo prints like the Shutterfly deal. As one poster mentioned they are usually at least $1-$1.50 per card for these. Both deals are great, just for a very different product.

  25. Andrea

Thank you. The code still worked as of last night (Sunday 11/20). My total was $8+change. I am excited to see the cards!

  26. Mindy

HPHOLIDAY11 is no longer working. 🙁
