I just bought this at walmart and there was a coupon sticker on the front. So it was great to try and save at the same time! Plus I picked up Arm and Hammer Ultra Last Litter for a rebate too! My cats are happy little campers today!
Was the rebate for the litter on the box? I will have to search for that!

I got through right after I saw the post…with no problems, so it must just be traffic. Normally I lose out on the internet/computer wars to get through sites.
This does make me giggle…pate toppers? what will they come out with next? Caviar for the really discerning feline palate? Some of the Purina freebies I got from the Dog/Cat daily promo they had a while back were for Fancy Feast ~Appetizers~ LOL seriously, they were little tiny trays, with things like broiled tilapia. It was actually perfect for my cat as she never eats it all when I put a normal can out. And she loved them! (Somewhere in Africa there’s a starving child going, “Really?!”)
Out of curiosity, did anyone else have a few of those coupon freebies that they couldn’t redeem? I had oodles of them and no problem with most, but some were for sizes that all the stores I looked at didn’t carry. One store was nice enough to let me get the next size up because it was still only half of what the coupon was good for. (valid up to $4.99, and the product was $2.75 or something to that effect.) I’m just wondering if this is regional, because one store looked it up and told me they didn’t have that size available to even order. Regardless it was a wonderful promotion. We ended up with almost $70 worth of free cat and dog food. Cat food for us, dog food for the shelter.

Oh no! You must have slipped through the cracks. I got mine ages ago. I wanna say end of October? I remember thinking I had to make sure to act semi-fast because they expire end of the year.
I’d shoot them an email and find out. (and if they send them to you make sure and ask for ones that don’t expire in 3 days, just to make sure. You never know how much info the reps really have. They may not realize.)
I’m sure it was an oversight, because I won about 20 of them and got them all. And all in one envelope. Yay for simplicity!
Are you talking about the Purina “pureloveforpets” Giveaway? I got my free coupons a while back and they valued at about $90 (That included a $50 cat litter system). I saved the wet food for my cat, and donated the rest of the dry cat food and all the dog food to a shelter. From what you’re saying, the only coupon I couldn’t use because of product sizes was for the dog Busy Bone. But I’m not complaining because that was one of the best giveaways I’ve seen! Obviously Collin’s holiday one was the best 🙂
Hey, cool, in my post when I referred to the nice lady (at HEB) letting me get the bigger size, it was for the Busy Bone! Look next time at the store. I saw on the shelf it was bigger but priced under and took it to the register and asked before she started to ring me up she said it was ok.
And I totally agree; loved this one. It’s not the biggest I’ve won (the Nuance gift basket) but it is the first promo that made my family take this seriously and stop thinking I was a nutter for entering all these things. My daughter just loved helping me hunt down all the items and we both loved the shocked look on the checker’s face, “Wow, you got a LOT of free pet food! What did you do?”

My cat loves this stuff, but in all honesty any meow mix product is pretty terrible for your cat. You can really tell the difference when you empty a can of a different brand cat food and real meat that flakes comes out vs this stuff that looks like spam crumble. But hey, it’s free and even cats need their junk food some times!
Still trying to get through . . . always trying to get samples for the dogs and cats that get dumped and come begging at my door for food. I live in the country and yes, I feed the strays and keep a stock of whatever samples I get and all the free pet food q’s I can get.
Got it, thanks. DH just told me we have a new stray, a gray tabby. Dang, people, it is WINTER and we have both a COUNTY and CITY animal shelter! But I will do my part with love and joy in my heart (but I can’t save them from the cold). This is how I got my house dog of 16 years, cause someone dumped him!
It’s so sad people just dump animals like that, but so awesome of you to take up the slack and do what you can. I’d send you my remaining coupons for them if they didn’t expire before they got there. (unless your in TX…near Austin)
Tamara, thanks for the offer but I am near Nashville, TN. Yes, it breaks my heart that people do that. We had a lama, yes, a lama in the area, for about three weeks until his parents come after him.
I love that area! My daughter was born in Franklin. (I was a GM brat, there because of the Saturn plant in Spring Hill.)

OMGoodness, so then I can tell you that I really live 10 minutes from the Bell Witch Cave, LOL. When I say I am from Adams, I get ?able looks, but when I mention the Bell Witch – “oh yea”.
Ooooh I literally just got a chill down my spine when I read that name. When I was in high school we went to see the Bell Witch place! It was soooooo creepy. Went with a group of friends and I swear to this day we saw her creepy face. All of us saw her. And of course the wind whistled, just like in old creepy movies, and we could hear her whispering. I was never scared of ghosts and things that go bump in the night until that trip. That one got me 🙂
Despite her creepiness, that whole area is so pretty! You guys have cool things, like… green grass…hehe most of the year in TX it’s just brown 🙁 (thanks droughts!)
They show up alot at my house and I live in the city I feed about 8 to 11 strays a day. And I rescued one a mama that had 4 kittens they found a good home MINE! lol
I only wished I had the money to spay/neutuer. Cats are almost as bad as rabbitts!
I just got the sample but I couldn’t get it to work with IE. I had to use Chrome and it worked fine.
I just tried to get the sample and it said that they were all gone now.
