I am guessing if they were board books they would of bragged about it. In my opinion not THAT great of a deal for paper paged books.

Ashley, I’ve bought their books before (the same deal but different kind of books), they are not board books, just hard cover. Not sure about this set, but it’s unlikely they are board books.

They are NOT board books. I was fortunate enough to score this AMAZING deal last time it came up. They are wonderful (really small in size) books. My 18 month old LOVES to read but the paper pages are a little hard for him to handle himself, but they are great for bedtime reading with mommy. Hope this helps. It’s a STEAL!

no problem, just a little warning- they are VERY small. It could go either way, good (small hands can handle) or bad (kinda not the norm). Their customer service was not very good when I called to inquire about my order last time and I was very surprised when they arrived at my doorstep:) I love Half Price Books too!

Then they went on sale again and I emailed them and they said, “Oh sorry the website wasn’t updated yet, but they are discontinued.” I’m not sure what’s going on with them.

Very Strange!! When I opened the site to order (Taste of Home), the order blank to the right of the screen could not be accessed. Called, but closed – even though there’s a link for service. Seems to me that this is a subsidiary of Rodale Press. Not worth the errors they have made on previous orders I’ve placed.

I got an email saying I needed to call a 800 number. I called and they needed to “confirm” my credit card information. I have NEVER had a company call to confirm my card so I told them to cancel the order. I haven’t received an email confirming the cancellation so I”m not sure whats up.
