I’ve had my Kitchenaid mixer for almost 20 years and use it regularly. It still works as well as the day I bought it. I almost wish it would conk out so I could get a new one, this is an awesome price!

I’ve only recently started tracking these mixers – is this a fantastic, jump on it, best of the year sort of price or just a great deal if you’re in the market for one?
They’re about $300 for this model at Target.com and Walmart.com but $200 is about the regular price for the slightly cheaper classic model.
I want one, but I don’t need one so I can wait for a super awesome price…
I think it’s definitely one of the “best of the year” kind of prices. I bought my 6-qt Artisan a couple years ago with a similar deal at Kohl’s (sale price + rebates) for about $170-$180…..and have been tracking them since (to make sure I got a great deal……it’s kind of compulsive, lol!)
The only time I’ve ever seen a lower price for this 5-qt Artisan mixer, was at Thanksgiving last year and it was only $3 cheaper. =) Hope that helps!

The artisan is definitely worth the extra cost. I know this sounds silly, but it is SO nice to have a handle on the bowl (the basic doesn’t have one). And of course, the mixer is more powerful and the bowl has a larger capacity, too. Anything under $200 is a good deal on these mixers, in my opinion.
This is the best deal I’ve seen since I kept track about a year ago. I’ve seen between $160 to $200 after rebates but this is even below that!

this rebate coupon is not for amazon ,ebay or auction purchases. I’ve bough from ebay and my rebate coupon did not worked out. and it says on the coupon too when you read you will see it.
I bought mine from best buy last year for around $ 159.00 with a rebate of $25 from the clearance section of the store. The only color option was black onyx.
