my RA cashier told me that they couldnt use RA circular coupons on clearance items?!?!?! 🙁 i found a few nail polishes i wanted to get that were $2 and some change, i was confused, but i rarely shop at RA and dont know their policy so i didnt argue 🙁

Just today I bought my favorite Revlon eyeliner for $7.39 and used the $3 coupon from the magic coupon machine. I got $4 extra care bucks back so I really only paid .39 cents!
I used this coupon on the eye shadow $5.29 – $3 = $2. 29 – $20 % = $1.23 got back a $4 ECB. Makes it a $2.77 MM! I thought the 20% off coupons didnt include sale items but it worked for me. YaY!
It worked because 5.29 is a regular price. It doesn’t work on items like 2/7$ softsoap that have an actual price change from their regular price. But it will work on items that are regular price but have ECB deals attached to them.

I got min e earlier and used it on the eyeshadow which rang up $5.49 but the signage said $4.99 so they adjusted the price. With the $3 off I paid $2.12 with tax and got the $4 exb so it was a $1.88 MM!!
I didn’t get it 🙁 BUT, I got $3/1 ThermaCare 2 or 3 pk that I stacked with a $3/1 thermacare manufacturer’s coupon, a 20% CVS coupon (1 day expired, but they took it) and made a few cents on a $6.38 2-pk lower back wraps!!

i found my $10 ECB from the loreal deal probably like 2 months ago. i lost it and just found it yesterday, does anyone know if they will still take it? that was from my first ever shopping trip to CVS. kinda sad! if anyone knows if they will take it, or what the time limit is for taking expired ones i would love to know 🙂
Yes they will take expired ecb’s. My CVS usually gives about 3 weeks or so before they wont take them
Mine told me over the weekend they will no longer accept expired ECB’s. Guess it will vary from store to store.
i lost my ecbs once and i called corporate and they looked if i had used them or not. after they saw that hadnt the said that they sent it to my card so itll print within the next 48 hours from the red box and it did…all 16 of em…i would call…they are awesome!!

Does anyone know if this will work with the current 3 for $10, get $3 ECBs? Just wondering if it will take off the price of the third “styler” item, and still get the ECBs, or if I will need to “buy” 4 items to use the coupon and get ECBs?
yes. Coupons are payment, so once the register recognizes you purchased the $10 worth, the ECB will print even if you use coupons and other extrabucks to pay.

Off the topic. I lost a 12 easy bucks that i did for the schick shaving cream and I called the 800 number and they said that although they could see the transaction they cannot do anything. I would greatly appreciate some help if anyone knows otherwise.
sorry you lost out. I was told the same thing when I washed a receipt in my pocket that had ECBs attached!! You can maybe try another CS rep, I have read that sometimes they are able to send a generic ECB in the amount you lost, but that is very rare.
