Calling all Disney fans! Tomorrow, March 28th, you may want to make plans to head on over to your local Disney Store. In celebration of Disney Store’s 25th Anniversary, the first 250 guests at each Disney Store across the country will receive FREE Mickey Ears. Too bad it’s an hour away from me. I would love to take my 1 year old grandson but I think my sons girlfriend wouldn’t let me take him that far and have him for that long. She’s 16 and we don’t get along. What a shame. I have missed out on just about everything with my first grandson.
Kari, I am so sad to read your comment. I do not get along well with my mother-in-law and we do not agree on a lot of things. I do try my best to ignore that so that she spends time with my children and they create memories like I have of my grandparents. My problem is the opposite though, she is just not interested in them and it breaks my heart. It’s hard when you do not get along with in-laws, but once you have children you have to put that aside for their sake. I am sorry that you are going through this and I hope that you make the best of the time that you do spend with your grandson. As your son’s girlfriend grows older I hope that she grows wiser and realizes how lucky she is that you want to be a part of your grandson’s life.
Thank you for your comment. I’ve been married twice and have a son with a ex boyfriend. I have always gotten along with the other parents. My kids have great memories of their grandparents as they have passed on now. They always gave me great advice and were the first ones there if I needed something. I feel sorry for my son being caught in the middle. They were young ( she just turned 16 and my son turned 16 earlier in the summer ). One day I’ll be there when my grandson needs me until then I’ll just wait
I have a 15 month old. I wonder if they would really require the minimum 3 yrs of age to participate?
I think the issue is they have to say for 3 and up because the ears are probably stated for safety for a 3 year old and up. But you can get one.
It is a 10 minute drive for me. I just bought a pair for my kids at WDW! 🙂

This was such a easy and wonderful freebie! We got there a half hr. before our disney store opened and there were only 3 people ahead of us in line! We are going to disney for the first time next month, and so this saved us a easy $100! Huray!! Thanks so much for posting this one!
I work dowtown in my city and the store is two blocks away so I took a break and got them. I will give me one of relatives kids.
I was able to get my Mickey ears. They even gave my 16month old one. I was so excited so now I can send one to my cousin who loves everything Disney.
