Head on over to the Redbox Facebook Page and click on the “Mother’s Day” tab to send your Facebook friends a virtual Mother’s Day card. They can score a FREE one-night movie rental code valid for Sunday, May 13th! Just make sure you tell your friends to check their Inbox to get the promo code! 😀
Afterwards, you can enter your phone number to receive a text with a FREE rental code for you, valid through 5/20! Awesome!

So my promo code can be used until May 20th, but the one to my friend would be good ONLY on Mother’s Day, is that correct?
yes…that is what I am guessing to from my e-mail.
Why are all their promo codes via text? I even get their weekly emails of new movies available. They could simply add the code to that email. Why only reward people who text with the free codes? People who use email want free movies too. I’ve mentioned this to their Customer Service, but they still haven’t added the codes to emails. Very frustrating.
I agree with Michelle L.! I too would appreciate the deals but do not text,so I guess we’re being penalized in a way~smile~
