Heb sales usually change on Wednesdays. Anyone know if this sale ends today?

In my area, HEB has the lowest grocery prices, but is a pain to coupon with. They haven’t updated their systems to accept coupons with the new barcode, and didn’t accept coupons for items on clearance. The HEB I went to doesn’t even follow their own coupon policy for pairing HEB and manufacturer coupons. Pain. in. the. butt.

As I understand it heb coupons with an m can’t be combined with manufacturer coupons since I think they’re considered as manufacturer

Heb is the worst to coupon at. I learned about their M, B, S coupons and used them properly. However, heb won’t follow its own coupon policy. Plus, if you use a coupon on an item correctly and it beeps. They refuse to take it even if it is for the correct product. I stopped shopping there months ago because I never knew what coupons might beep.

Hi! Next time I recommend speaking with a manager if the cashier gives you a problem. I have done this before and not only did I get a personal call from the manager, but they also gave me a $20 gift card!

I agree that the coupon beeping is a problem. I always use the coupons correctly and no matter what I still have about 1/3 of them beep and don’t go through. The cashiers can manually type it in, though. You have to get to know your cashiers to see who is knowledgeable about this. I’ve found that the younger cashiers tend to be WAY more helpful in this area and they will just type it in for me 99% of the time now.

I think these are about .50 a can w/coupon at Publix.

hmm…I’m not in a valid area for the $.75/1 coupon, but I am for the $.50/1 coupon. Interesting haha

Thanks for posting items for HEB! This is pretty much the ONLY grocery store in our area so it is a huge help to many of us Texans!!!

You’ve got that right!! Idk where you live in TX, but everywhere around where I live, HEB has the monopoly in the grocery dept. In smaller towns it’s usually an HEB or nothing! But the worst thing about it is, that there is no common “hub” to find out about HEB deals or ad matchups because EVERY ad is regional!! I can drive 35 miles to the next town & they have a totally different ad than we do! I try to do local matchups on my blog for HEB, if you live anywhere around the Coastal Bend, come check it out at http://www.calhounclip-n-savers.blogspot.com.

Yes, H-E-B is the WORST for couponing. I always have to get a manager or someone else to come over to my register and get the uninformed/disinterested clerk to accept my printed coupons. The clerks try to tell me that they don’t accept manufacturer’s coupons if the bar code doesn’t scan, then one mgr will say they accept them if they’re under $2.00, then another mgr will agree with the clerk, while yet another one will accept all coupons by having them type it in. Irritating. H-E-B is overpriced and a big ripoff in my opinion, but it’s the ONLY grocery store all over the RGV. There are literally no other options–well, Walmart, but they don’t have a lot of things there. Like good produce.

OMGosh! Exactly! You took the words right out of my mouth! I had an Asst. Mgr. that told me that HEB doesn’t accept coupons printed from the SmartSource Network!?! I told her that SS is a reputable site for printing coupons, she said -Sorry, we don’t accept them if they have the SS logo. The whole M, B, S, coupon theory is just a big scam, IMO. I have to ask, if an M coupon truly is a MQ, then why can they be printed at the store, at will, w/no print restrictions or manufacturer info on them? I’ve noticed that when HEB has these M coupons out, almost every other store will have that item on sale. Like say, a Swiffer $2/1 MQ came in a Sunday paper, HEB will have a yellow M coupon for $2 off, sounds like a good deal, right? Well other stores, like CVS, will have the Swiffer on SALE, then you are allowed to use your $2/1 MQ to get it for a better price! It’s seems like a scam to me, to trick people into thinking they are really saving sooo much by using those stupid yellow coupons -lol! Sorry this became an HEB rant -really, I do shop at HEB, it’s just I don’t always agree with them!!
