    Cute! Thanks.

LOVE IT! Thank you cards for my daughters birthday party, DONE!

    • Jen

Just what I was thinking 🙂

    • MommySpendsLess

LOL Great minds think alike! I was just thinking/doing the same thing, although I think I’m going to just use these for distant relatives and have her draw/color something (she just turned 3 or I’d have her write a note) for the locals. I’d feel bad sending out too many since these are free.

“I’d feel bad sending out too many since these are free.” – I agree.

    • Jen

      GREAT idea Kim!!

One thing I just saw: “The cards which are sent free of charge as part of this promotion will have a small amount of Samsung branding on them. If you would like this branding not to appear on your card, you can choose to pay for the cards as part of the standard Touchnote service.”

I am a member of a site called postcrossing. Once you register you get assigned a person with whom to send a postcard. I have only sent 2 so far but it was fun for my kids to ‘map’ where we were sending the cards (Netherlands and Russia so far). Just an idea for the free postcards! Oh–once you send 5 you will start getting some sent back to you…

Thanks! I’m planning on sendng one to my penpal in France. (We connected through a World Penpal Organization – possibly http://www.internationalpenfriends.com .) We’ve been communicating solely by snail mail for over 15 years – since we were young teens. It’s so much more personal than all the mass electronic options. 🙂

      • misty

Rebecca, thats really cool! Probably a dumb question, but sending it to someone in another country, does your pen pal speak english? I know no other language or do you get it translated? lol

  4. Ann

I sent one and now they are trying to charge me for the second.

  5. Cali

I tried sending one but it’s asking me for a credit card number to pay $1.49.

  6. Cynthia R

I sent two for free. No problems.

  7. tam childers

I sent two for free no worries to Australia

Please let me know if you are able to send a few….want to work on daughter’s bday invitations over the next few days. I might need about 10. Thanks so much!

    • jill

I’ve sent 10. In case it matters to you for your invitations, note that if you choose to send the free postcards, they will have a little Samsung Ad and an olympic logo at the bottom of the text side of the card (that is how they are being paid for).

      • Stormy Stanford

Thank you so much for letting me know! I don’t care if there is a logo….everyone knows how I love to find deals!!

  9. Lori

There was also a charge on my post card when I tried to send it. I got information from their site, that you have to download and app and that the first post card is free. “Use the Touchnote app on any Android phone or tablet to create beautiful postcards that Touchnote will print and post on your behalf. You can make a postcard from any of your own photos or use the latest, exclusive photos from the Olympic Games.
Download Touchnote and send your first FREE postcard today.”

    • Lori

Okay, I tried again, and it finally let me send them free. I was able to send two so far.

  10. Katiria

the site was going really slow, I had to register since I don’t have facebook and it asked me to buy credits and to enter my card number in order to send, so I exited out and tried again Then it went through without a problem

  11. sam

Such a great deal. Was able to get one sent to my parents and one to my inlaws. so great! Thanks!

  12. Linda

Great timing! I’m moving soon and just used these to send out 32 moving notices. 🙂

  13. Ash

I was able to send seven free postcards, could have sent more but was tired by that time due to the website timing out!

  14. Lindsay

It keeps telling me I have to pay… Is there a trick or code?

    • jill

After you have made the card and put in address and everything and it is showing you an image of both sides of the card . . . there should be two options on the right hand side: “Pay for postcard” or “Send as free Samsung postcards” (If you have free samsung postcard chosen, then it is going to show a little samsung ad at the bottom of the text side of the postcard and you will be able to hit “send free postcard”)

  15. Emily

I’ve sent out about 15 so far already with no problem. My husband tried to do this from the app on the itunes store and it wanted to charge him, but online it hasn’t given us any trouble. This is SUCH a blessing because I’ve been wanting to update our family on our recent trips and just have an excuse to send them a photo. Most of our family is spread out and many of them are lonely empty nesters on both my husband’s side and my side, so I know these post cards will bring a little extra joy. Thanks so much for sharing!

  16. Bridgette

Did anyone notice that it used to say free until August 31st but now it says until the Olympics are over???

    • tracy

I was just surprised to find the same thing! I am so bummed. Had planned to use it for something at the end of August.

  17. Heather J

It now says all of the free postcards have been sent. Too bad!
