Correct, but it is an amazing vac. I have had mine for almost two years and love it. My husband remodeled our home and we vacuumed up all kinds of things with it. When we took out the filter, it was still white as snow.

I own a Dyson but not this model. I absolutely have never owned a better vacuum. When we get new carpet or I just want to have a newer Dyson I would purchase a 2nd one without hesitation. Never have had a problem with mine in the 7 years I’ve owned it. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made.

i just bought this on wed in store since it went out of stock online.. i had a question for those that have this particular model..
i enptied the dustbin out once and now i feel like a havent placed it back correctly! it feels wobbly and the handle to carry the vaccum is on top of the dust bin and i feel like carryring it with that will make it fall off.
also the attachment parts feel loose in their spots after me pulling it out just to use once. i hope mine isnt a lemon… are all dysons like this? please chime in so i dont feel like my dream vacuum was just an expensive tool!

I have the Dyson Animal and there is a definate click or snapping sound when you put the dust bin back in. I have had the Dyson for 4 years and am picking up another one so I have one on each level so I don’t have to lug it up the stairs ech time. I think I deserve it.

Mine was marked down from $399.99 to $199.99 and on top of that they had their Gift Card special with a purchase deal…so I got an $80.00 gift card! Paying $119.99 is astronomical! I had the only Target in the area with it in stock to hold it for me. I walked out of the store shaking I was SO excited, we needed a vacuum for our new place too!

Dyson has a 25% off deal that ends today. The price at Kohls is higher than MSRP (DC33 should be $399). With the discount most retailers have this for 299 till midnight tonight.
