I tried to check out early this morning with the Step 2 kitchen and never could get it to work. I switched kitchens and then it worked. Sorry, hope that helps!

If it’s just for one kid I would pick the Step 2. It’s a little smaller but still good sized. I picked the larger Little Tikes because I need enough room for 2 to play easily.

I got this one on black friday and got home and there were no doors or handles or the 17 pc extras or screws. Very disapointed but called little tikes and they said they would mail me all the missing parts. Fingers crossed they get here before Santa comes.
