I’m learning that my Black Friday shopping was useless! I’ve gotten way better deals online after Black Friday! That translates into getting too much, which means I’ve been returning things and putting things in the birthday box (for my kids and friends’ parties). Depending on the price difference, returning them may not be worth it in regards to gas and time. I only do it if it’s not out of my way.

I totally agree that there are better deals other than black friday. That’s why I did all my shopping online this blackfriday and all the deals where online already on thursday night including target, walmart, sears, and so on, even their doorbusters were online as well.

I’m glad I shopped online on Black Friday instead of fighting the crowds. I got really good deals at Kohl’s and Target. The other day I went to Old Navy and stocked up fleece scarves for $3…the cashier told me people were going crazy for them on Black Friday when they were $4!!

I didn’t go shopping on Black Friday but I keep seeing better deals on things I’ve already purchased. I keep reminding myself that my shopping was done with minimal stress and two weeks to spare, that I stayed within budget and most importantly that i think my daughter and hubby will both have a fun Christmas
That’s more important than a few bucks or getting the best possible deal.

You can bring in your receipt and your coupons and Walmart will refund the difference, at least mine did for the Millionaire Monopoly I bought on black Friday and I forgot to use my coupon.

There was a regional $2 off any Dana Brand Purchase coupon in the 12/2 Smart Source coupon supplement. It expires 1/31/2013. I was considering holding onto it and looking for after the holiday markdowns. Also, I read elsewhere that Rite Aid had small packs for $2.99.

It just says one coupon per item purchased.
I did not find that size at my Walmart, but found ones that were 4.00 so I got them but I may go back and see if I can find these ones in the stocking area, which I did not look, I was looking where the gift sets were and the perfume aisle.

Interesting the comments about prices adjusting downward after Black Friday. Hmmm….that tells us the economy isn’t as good as they are telling us. Better deals to come as time goes on?? How about after Christmas….?!

I dont always have the best of luck at my walmart but I will try today . If not Riteaid has many of these perfumes in sets for under $9.00 including the mens scents plus i can use my UP rewards. Plus I saw a cute teddy bear and love soft set for $5.99
