I wish they would appreciate vegetarian customers in these promotions…..

Just ask for the cold cut combo minus the cold cuts. They’ll put whatever veggies you want.

LOL what a great idea! We love our meat but also love to have them pile the veggies. The more the better!

Technically, that would be considered a veggie delight sub – not a cold cut. It would completely depend on the manager if they’d permit it.

When I went the other day the ones available where: Meatball Marinara, Cold Cut Trio, & Veggie. I have seen the Veggie one for $2 at several of the Subways recently!

One of my kids would not settle for the two $2 subs on promotion… So it’s helpful to bring along the Subway coupon just for her order: Buy a 6 inch, plus a 21oz drink, and get a 6 inch free, 12-02 RP (exp 12/31).

Does anyone know if the meatball marinara contains pork? I’m figuring the cold cut combo does. We happen to not eat pork products. TIA 🙂

Our local Subway doesn’t promote the deal, however they honor it if you come in and ask…they are greedy pigs.

I’m not sure how not promoting the deal makes them greedy. You said they still honor it. Most locations are franchises that do not get to choose the national deals. Each one is still a business with an owner trying to make a living.

My local area subway isn’t promoting the deal either. When I went to purchase a sandwich recently, I asked for the $2.00 meatball sandwich. At the same time, another employee was ringing up a customer. Her sandwich was already in a bag so I couldn’t see it. When she heard what I ordered, she asked why she was being charged regular price? The employee stated the deal is for only certain sandwiches to which the lady replied, “I got the same sandwich she’s getting!”

Are you serious! The lady was so mad! She asked for a refund and they said no because the sandwich was already made. I said, you can at least give her another sandwich to make up for the difference. Finally, after lots of yelling, they reluctantly made her another sandwich and gave her some soup too. Ridiculous!

My Subway was extremely gracious about the promotion (though they are generally very friendly and helpful there anyway). They said that not only were the 6-inch subs $2, but they’d make the same subs as footlongs and charge $4. This would seem obvious, as it saves them effort and paper products to make a footlong instead of 2 six-inches, but sometimes franchises are sticklers about promotions.
