First, Amazon has the Angel Soft Bath Tissue, Double Rolls, 48-ct pack priced at just $21.50 shipped when you choose Subscribe & Save (on the right)! Even better, you can also scroll down to clip a $1/1 coupon, bringing the final cost down to only $20.50 shipped!
This is a great price, as 48 double rolls equal 96 single rolls, so basically you are paying $0.21 per single roll. Great price…especially for highly rated toilet paper!

This is a great price, as 48 double rolls equal 96 single rolls, so basically you are paying $0.23 per single roll. Not too shabby… especially for highly rated toilet paper!
does anyone know the price per square foot? I can never find that information on Amazon 🙁 and that’s how I gauge good prices, since the manufacturers roll the rolls of TP looser these days
https://www.time2saveworkshops.com/how-to-get-the-best-deal-on-toilet-paper/ – this link gives info on square footage of various toilet papers. If the numbers are current/correct, then the 48 double roll of angel soft would be 1600 sq. ft. 🙂
how do you do the math? and what is a good price per square foot? I know i saw on here one time a way to move the decimal point from the square footage to get your price per but i cant remember it at all.. 😉
I accidentally posted my answer a few comments down, sorry dubois420
I base toilet paper on square feet too, even within the same brand the square feet in a “single” roll can really vary. I haven’t found the square feet listed on amazon.
The Angel Soft is actually 264 sheets according to Amazon.
Looks like the QN is approx 176 3-ply sheets per roll
If I click Subscribe & Save, how do I go about cancelling it later on? Also, how soon can I cancel? I want the 5% off but I don’t want to receive this order regularly.
I know me too! I hope someone will explain this to us, on how it works.
Once your item has shipped you go into Your Account then down to Your Subscribe and Save items and can cancel it from there. You wont be able to cancel your subscription until your item has shipped. =)
Thanks!!!! =)
You can cancel once you get the item. Just go to manage subscribe and save items.
Thank you Julia and Chasity! I’m making my order now 🙂
each 6-pack is 117.3 square feet x 8 packages = 938.4 sf
$21.74 / 938.4 sf = 0.02317 $/sf
So about 23 cent per sf. This is a decent price considering you don’t have to go to the store and use any coupons in person. My personal stock up price is anything under 22 cent per sf but this deal is close enough.
Do you mean 2.3 cents per square foot? That’s what your numbers show. A lot of couponers aim for 1/2 cents per square foot.
sorry I meant 1 or 2 cents per sq ft
My price point is 1 cent per square foot which means if there is 938 sqf, I would pay about 10.00 or less. Definitely possible to find these prices. When I don’t stock up fast.
I like 1 ply better because my kids over use and my toilets don’t clog. Much better on the septic system.

a penny per sqaure foot is my goal, here this might help understand the method https://dealseekingmom.com/the-toilet-paper-principle-stock-up-price-for-tp/
Yes, I wish it was easier to find the square footage for these deals! I don’t think 2.3 cents per square foot is a good deal at all. I get the Kirkland brand toilet paper from Costco (it’s a “thin” 2-ply) and pay less than a penny per square foot (about $0.0094/sq foot as opposed to $0.023 for this deal). I know not everyone has a Costco but I think you should be able to do better than $0.23/square foot … unless the convenience is worth it to you 🙂
Not sure how recently you’ve been to Costco but their square feet has been cut in half for the new purple packaging rolls…just a heads up! Ended up taking 2 packs back because the price basically doubled
I was going for the Angel Soft 48 count Double Rolls and then I saw the amount they were charging for shipping. Over $15 for shipping made this good deal pretty crappy!
I was standing in the toilet paper trying to figure out if it was a good deal. What is a good price for double roll? Single roll? I am just not sure how to figure this out?
Target also has Scott 1000 sheet rolls on sale. Buy 2 24 rolls of Scott for $15.99 each minus 2 munufacturer peelies ($2.50 each)— minus Get a Target gift card for $5=$21.98 for 48 1000 thousand sheet rolls. That’s 48,000 single sheets!
Oops…I meant 48 1000 sheet rolls.
An easy way to figure it out is to look at the square footage of the entire package, move the decimal point two places to the left, and try to pay around that for the package. So if the package has 938.4 square feet, try not to pay more than $9.38 (or thereabouts). Less than $9.38 would be a very good deal; $15 would be too much (for me), even if it was a lot of rolls. T.p. rolls can vary greatly so I find it’s much more accurate to compare by the square foot than by the roll.
Thank you for this info. Easy way to figure it out.
with subscribe & save- are you charged upon ordering or when the order ships?
The SF on the AS is 1408 for those who need it
awesome! ive never been this excited to order toilet paper before heehee 🙂
What’s a good way to figure out for paper towels? Whether its a good deal or not? Thanks
