If you sign up for a new card, you’ll instantly receive a temporary card that you can print and take with you to Panera Bread until your permanent card comes in the mail.

I love my MyPanera card! I wish there was more consistency with it (ie: like a Subway card – you know you need X points to get a sub), but it’s kinda fun to get random surprises too

Yes, they are regional. I had one in Tampa, FL but then I moved to Jacksonville, FL where Subway doesn’t participate.

I signed up both my hubby and I over a year ago and still have yet to get my permanent card mailed. When I went into the store, they just looked at me funny with my “temp”card. Anyone else have this issue? Wasn’t sure if it’s like other places where I get a card in store and just register it to my account or if there is an error to which I should contact them about.
Same thing happened with my PF Chang’s card, so they finally gave me one in restaurant since they never sent me one.

I don’t know if this helps but when I just signed up it told me to turn in my ‘temporary’ printed card in for a permanent card the next time I am in store. The directions for the cahier say to use the ‘Exhange card function’. Maybe they can do that with your temporary card?

It says you can write the number down and they will give you your permanent card in the restaurant.

I work at panera and have found if you put you’re gluten free in the dietary part you will get either the smoothie/espresso or the coffe tea or soda (which can be used for the lemonade or green tea!)
