On the Cash cards- do u have to use it on the cvs card that you earned it? Like If I earned one on my car, can my mom use it on her card? Also, Do they expire? Thanks!!!
I know the cash cards do not expire. It’s like a gift card. As far as using it on another card, I’m not sure. I know they scan your CVS card to activate the cash card so it might not work using another card. I think it’s the same as the ECB’s which can only be used with the CVS card that was scanned.
I had the same question, and I asked the cashier and she told me that I can used it with any card. She said they are gift cards not ECB, therefore they are not attached to any card.

Usually the ECB deals exclude clearance items…
It will say in the ad if it specifically excludes clearance, so you will want to read that. I have bought items on clearance before and ECBs printed.

True, but I bought a Venus razor on clearance last week and it still produced a $3.00 ECB- I was surprised. Plan on not receiving one, but if you do! It’s a bonus!
I was lucky enough to find the 75% venus on clearance today and I was surprised it printed the $4 ECBs! So although clearance is excluded, oftentimes they print anyways.
I work for cvs and I’ve been trying to figure out which clearance deals will still produce extrabucks. I don’t think the make-up will, because the way it is clearanced is a “sale” that is coded to last in the system for 3 or 4 months. So those items numbers can usually only be in one “sale” at a time which is why it almost always doesn’t work on makeup. Most of the other clearance items in the store, like the razors or the aveeno lotions from a few weeks ago are the ones that have the “Get it while it lasts tags”, those tags replace the items regular shelf labels so that clearance price is pretty much its new “regular” price (until we get rid of it at least). So most of the time those items do produce extrabucks because there is generally nothing to prevent the item numbers from being included in the promo event. Hope that makes sense.

isn’t the math on the shaving still wrong? if you buy one, at 3.49, and buy another to use the bogo coupon, that only takes off 3.00 instead of 3.49, so you actually end up paying 1.43 for both.
I believe Collin’s each price is from just buying one shaving cream and using the .55/1 mq she mentioned. That makes it .94 – a better price than if u bought 2, which would be .99 each.

You can use the $5/$30 and the $5/$15 Nuance in the same transaction, but not sure about the $2/$10, as mine says cannot be used with another money off coupon such as $4/$20. I have seen others say their stores allow it, but I know mine will not. If you try it just make sure you have $10 in cosmetics as well as $15 for the Nuance.

You do not need to leave the store to do more than one transaction. I do my transactions back to back if there is not someone waiting behind me. If there are more customers I run one and then go to the back of the line. It takes longer, but I feel that’s only courteous. I’ve seen couponers run many transactions while numerous people waited in line behind them. I determined early in my couponing that would not be me. Yes, it takes much longer sometimes, but that’s a small consequence to the amount of money we are saving.
Anyone try the razor deal and it worked? Which razor should we buy?
The single blue Venus razor works, it’s $6.99 then use the $2 coupon, pay $4.99 and get back $4 ECB 🙂

the orange package razor waz marked for 7.49 but when i price checked it was on clearance for 2.12. it produced the ecb to:)
When I do several transsacions! I put all items in basket and separate them in the basket and put my cupons in order. And do one transsacion, but, I move if there is several customers and let them check out first. The employees are so nice, just yesterday, I found tons of clearance things! There was only 1 employee, he stop from$ rimging my items open the other register to check customers out that had one or 2 items. To continue with me after, and I don’t mind since, he even showed me what items were clearance.

Can I use a $3/$15 cosmetics purchase in the same transaction as $5/$30 total purchase? I know that it says there’s a limit of one purchase-based coupon, but I’m not sure if that only includes coupons that apply to the entire purchase.

Found a Gillette Venus Embrace (pinkish colored Razor) today at CVS on clearance for 4.19 used my 2.00 off coupon and got back a 4.00 ecb – Nice easy money maker so be on the look out.

I just got back from CVS and got a great deal on the M&M’s.
Bought 4/$12 (got 2 bags listed as having 10% more)
Used 2 $1.50/2 manufacturer coupons
Used 1 $1.88 for a bag of M&M’S printed from online
Used 1 $1.00/1 Mars Valentine bag CVS coupon thst printed from red machine
Total OOP $6.88
ECB $4.00
Final cost $2.88 or 0.72!!!

I found the Nivea Men’s Cooling After Shave Balm on clearance for $1.89… and it printed the $2 RR. Says there is a limit of 5. My store only had one. So I might check out another for 4 more. Also, the Gillette After Shave Lotion was on clearance for $2.18 marked down from $8.99.

Im confused on the bogo Colgate deal. How could I use the 1$ off powered toothbrush when the toothbrush listed in the ad isn’t powered? And by the way I love this site! Thank you for all you do!
