This movie is freaking great. My kids (under 1 to 8) all love it. Seriously, even the baby watched it, very odd.

I have taken my receipt in with coupons I didn’t use or forgot to use and they gave me the amount of the coupon back in cash….very nice!
I’d try to at least take the coupon in and get your money. Walmart does it. Otherwise return the movie and buy it again.

Applebee’s kids menu has a $5 coupon too. Took the kids the other day and didn’t take the coupon. Ugh!!!
The Applebee’s one is only for Blu-Ray or Blu-Ray/DVD combo, so this coupon appears to be a better one! 🙂

So I just chatted with Redbox, only to be told that the coupon is being sent from Sony and only 50% of customers will get it. When I inquired how do they decide who gets it, the rep named Ellen, told me she had no clue and I would have to contact Sony. When I asked if she had a link she could just email me she said no and hung up. This is why I won’t ever again spend any of our money with Redbox, their DVDs skip etc, and their rep’s are beyond rude. I rented this movie last week when I got a free code text from Redbox. They sent me the coupon and I almost deleted it b/c I assumed it would be for the Blu Ray combo pack like they usually are and those are always $5 or more extra anyhow. But this coupon said “Blu Ray Combo Pack, Blu Ray or DVD.” I went to Target yesterday and the coupon went through, no beep. $5 movie for the kiddos Easter basket!

i rented it this weekend and didnt get a coupon. i contacted redbox and they said it was only sent out to 50% of the customers. plus they didnt actually issue it so i would have to contact sony about possibly getting it. ugh.
The coupon is for select locations and cities only according to Redbox customer svc. My city isn’t included.
Don’t forget you can ask for a raincheck at Target if they’re out of the movie. That will guarantee you the $10 price for 45 days. I was there lastnight and they were out in the electronics section so I got a raincheck. I was able to find the movie up front though, so $5 with the coupon and 5% off with the Target Redcard. My little guys will get it for Valentine’s Day! HTH!

you get the coupon AFTER you return the movie, within 2 days. Also, the coupon is not available for every location, so renting it doesn’t guarantee a coupon.

I contacted redbox as well. Not much help. They sent me 5 comp codes that won’t work online when reserving!! Perhaps the 50 % success rate on getting the coupon were people who reserved and rented online. I rented at a kiosk. Is it more successful to reserve on line and then pick it up at a kiosk?
I just called because I didn’t get the code either. She said I wouldn’t because I used a free code to get the movie. Also she said the promo ends at Midnight.

While looking over my emails it looks like i got 3 separate emails for renting, returning, and the receipt. All had links to print the coupon.
