I have had Amazon prime for over a year now and absolutely love it! While I was a little reluctant to spend money just to save on the shipping, etc. I know I have more than gotten my money’s worth out of it and just renewed it again! As a matter of fact, it has allowed me to catch up on the past seasons of Downton Abby for free, so that in itself has saved me quite a bit! 🙂

You can watch Downton Abbey free on PBS online – I do. Check it out.

Is there a place to watch missed young and restless?

we just started with amazon prime and love it. the selection for videos for the kids isn’t that great, but it is nice that you can register devices and load movies on their ipods for long trips. also their chat customer service has been awesome since i was really confused at first by all the streaming, downloading etc viewing options. and love the free two day shipping.

I’m still really confused on the prime video part.

Hi there are tons of movies and shows that you can stream either on a mobile device or your TV. If I remember correctly I had to download an ap to my I pad and then stream it through my ROKU to my TV. It was a while ago. I am sure there are other options but that is how it worked with the devices I own. I think that there is a section in the prime video section that explains it further. I hope this helps a liitle bit.

Collin, do you watch Downtown Abbey??

  5. Susan

This is my 2nd time having the Amazon Prime membership but I have never downloaded movies or streamed them from Amazon. How do I do that?

  6. Jessica

How much is the membership after the trial?

  7. Corrine

    It’s $79 a year.

    • dannyglas

Cheaper than Netflix that comes to $96 a year.

      • Trish

Yes but once you pay for Netflix or Hulu there is no cost for any video!

  8. Elaine

How do u cancel your trail amazon prime? I don’t want to get charged!

    • Lisa Pierce

If you go to “Your Account”, there is an option for “Manage My Prime..” (something worded like that). Go there and you will be able to select to not automatically renew.

  9. Evelyn

Is it free to stream during the 30 day trial?

  10. Mandy

We started the 30 day free trial yesterday but having trouble. Watched a couple of episodes of Andy Griffith & Gilligan 🙂 and one Justified. Now we can’t watch anymore. Are there limitations?

    • monica mullins

Yes there are limitations. You only allowed to watch certain ones then you have to pay for some.

  11. Mandy

Oops. Never mind. Something silly on my end.

Would the first 3 episodes of season 3 of the Blacklist be available?

Why does it charge for Pretty little Liars after the season has completed on TV. Netflix doesn’t. Also Prime Amazon does cost more in 2016 than Netflix @ $7.99 a month and prime @$9.99 a month. I mentioned that because there was a comparison. I am completely thrilled with Prime, except the charge for Pretty Little Liars also Black list. Prime charges for seasons 1-5 those are old. The main reason I signed up was to watch Pretty Little Liars season 6 and the Black list. Oh Prime Amazon is $119.82 a year in 2016. Netflix is $95.82 a year all free movies.

Why does It cost to watch Pretty Little Liars on Amazon. The season is over. The remark about Amazon Prime and Netflix is outdated. Amazon prime is $119.88, Netfix is $95.88 a year with all free streaming on shows. They have great kid shows like Disney. Pretty Little Liars is free when the season is complete on freeform/ prior abc family. I do enjoy Amazon Prime movies though so far I have found international films. Military discount is remarkable $42.00 a year. I don’t receive this; I have friends. I want to say so far I am satisfied with Amazon Prime. I would be more satisfied if Pretty Little Liars and Blacklist were on Amazon Prime free. The main reason I signed up was I wanted to watch season 6 of PPL. I was disapointed. 🙁
