  It takes a little getting used to. I just started using mine that I got about a year ago. lol But once you get the hang of it, it creates those beautiful curls I always see the celebs have. 🙂

   I’ve been wanting one sooo bad!! My regular ceramic curling iron just gave out and I was wanting to get a new iron, but they’re practically the same price as the wand right now and I wanted to try the wand! Great deal!

   Does not work on shoulder length hair or even a little past the shoulders. Also its VERY easy to burn yourself even with the glove as the wand gets unbelievably hot. I’ve burned my ear pretty bad. I will be returning it.

   I read some of the 1 star reviews on there and I believe they were nearly all doing it wrong. If you aren’t sure how to use this tool look up some youtube videos. Basically, you’ll grab the end of your hair and wrap it around the shaft with the point facing down. I have another brand and don’t have a glove, so I just put the end of my hair as close to the shaft as I can. It doesn’t look unnatural when done this way, but I’m sure the glove would help get a better curl on the ends. The 1 star reviews were all saying they couldn’t get their hair to stop slipping when they were rolling the barrel. They thought it would work as an older clamp style curling iron. It doesn’t. You’ve got to use it completely differently.

   I have the smaller barrel version of this and LOVE it. It goes to 410 so it’s very easy to burn yourself, and I did couple times in the beginning but once you’re use to it it’s extremely easy to use! Like Rachel said, I watched some YouTube videos on how to use it, so if you’re unsure or it’s not working for you, definitely check them out!

   It comes with a heat resistant glove to use but I found that it’s easier without it because I need to “sense” how thick the strands of hair are that I’m going to curl.

   I have a few inches past shoulder length medium/thick hair. When I curl with this barrel I get a full day of curls and the next day I wake up and my hair is still soft, shiny and has curl to it. Definitely recommend!
