    Thanks, Collin!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re most welcome! 🙂

      • Tabby

Thanks for all the hard work! The Rimmel in my ad is Buy 1 get 1 50% off and get 3 ecb when spend $10, I don’t know if it’s just my area, but just wanted to let you know incase you had to update the deal.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

          Thanks for letting me know!

      • Roma

Hi Collin Nexxus coupon is gone from Unilever:(

    • Fay Towne

      who calls you smellyann?? lol

      • smellyann

My older sister nicknamed me that in middle school! LOL

  2. Ketsy

Stalking the page all afternoon. tee her! 😀

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      😀

  3. ccre_21

weeee thanks collin! lots a nice deals with the 25% off coupon sent to most extracare members!

    • Rebe

Check your flyer too, mine has a 20% off! 🙂

  4. Sasha

Unfortunately, they are not valid on sale items 🙁

    • Kathy

But you can use them with any “Spend $X and get $ECB” deal if the item isn’t on sale. The amount pre-coupon is what counts toward the total spent. For example, last week Physician’s Formula was “anything over $7.49, get back $7.00 ECB.” I found concealer for $8.59, got 25% off AND got $7 ECB.

    • Rebe

I used to think they were useless because I didnt know they could be used on reg price items with ECBs. Now I LOVE them and wait anxiously every week hoping to get one in my email! 🙂 When I do I plan a trip based on it. I have saved an additional $25 (it was 30%) 🙂

  5. el

Just fyi the deal on the 3oz jergens no longer prints a $5 ecb but rather $1 bc it is a travel size and part of a different monthly deal.

    • el

      Also the limit is 5.

    • lynn

that happened to me the other day when the same promo was running 🙁

      • Jeff

At my store there is a sign for it that says 5 back on them!! And since its not in travel area, not considered travel/trail size!

        • mel.

They are on the reg shelf at my store too with a sign that says buy 2 get $1 for select jergens, biore and john frieda trial/travel products. sometimes there isnt a spot in the travel area for the smaller items, so they can be located on the shelf with the full size items. my store has lots of trial and travel items mixed in with the full size items. some things that come to mind are the clear care shampoo & conditioner, some nexxus items, the curel, biore 2-CT, tylenol. just bc its on the reg shelf doesnt mean its not a travel sized item. At my WM, the 3 oz jergens IS in the travel bins.

          • Jeff

Like i said thier a sign under it. Aslo as Colin has stated, it is not travel size.

        • GPY

The 3oz for me is in on the regular shelves next to the other lotions but rings up as travel size with 1 ECB when you buy 2

        • Erin

Good luck getting them to honor it. I ended up returning the lotion.

          • Jeff

I got two rain checks. Plus, I am friendly with three of the cashiers and they will honor it.. On the sign it says for the 3 oz..

    • Tanya B

I had the same problem when I did this last week. I kind of don’t want to try again..

    • Chels

mine only printed a 1ecb too but there was a sign that was specifically for the 3 oz. jergens bottle and it said get 5ecb wyb 2 so the manager accepted it and the cashier prompted an ecb for me.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! Thanks for letting me know!

    • ashley m

The tag at my store under the 3 oz size still says buy 2 get $5 so my cashier pushed it through 😉

      • Jeff

        Same here :))))

  6. edy

Thanks! For the posting! Haven’t shop since, last week! But, my friend told me that she was going to buy 4 secret clinical, 2 jergens and manager cvs, became ugly and told her he was only going to take 1 cpn per purchase, she told him regardng 4 alike cpns. He said because, I want to and he wasn’t going to allow noone to take anything with cpns! Has anyone encounter this situacion? I haven’t shop since last week, have made purchases at this store before with a 25% up to 588dlrs and cpn some bucks paid like 70 cash. He never said nothing to me, before, but, haven’t gone to this store this past week either maybe their changing things!! This is the second person I heard that this has happen to.

    • Jeff

I have a store manger say he wouldn’t except a black and white coupon becuase HE CONSIDER IT a copy, even though it had different numbers, I even pointed that he still wouldn’t list. So a couple calls to corapte and that changed!

      • Sasha

Good grief, Jeff….like they expect us to use up our colored ink for Q’s LOL!
I’ve never encountered this issue before.
We had 2 very profitable trips to Publix today-used prob 45 Q’s and they’ve NEVER given us any grief on b&w ones.
We did have a slight prob @Petco this morn, using those great free dog & cat treat Q’s tho…
As you said-best defense is a snappy call to Corp.

        • J

I started using self check out, that way I don’t have to be bothered with cashiers telling me that I can’t use certain coupons.

        • Jeff

I know right!!! Now when I shop i make sure one of my 3 favorite cashier’s is their!!!

    • Meagan W

I have never had a problem with coupons in the CVS stores I shop in. I find CVS is the best store with coupons. I agree with the comment below to call CVS corp if you have a problem and they will take care of it. From my experiences CVS prides their self on great customer service.

    • Becky

Our local CVS will not allow internet coupons 🙁

      • trina

I would be calling corporate on that!

      • Melissa

So, your CVS won’t allow internet coupons? I would ask why does CVS pushes the use of them on their website, not to mention sending you coupons via the internet & your email.

    • CW

edy get the managers name, date and time as well as store number. Write down exactly what he said. Definitely call corporate, demand a call back from the DISTRICT manager. They will call you back! That should take care of the problem/attitude.

      • Cathy

Most cvs s would prefer you call their district manager directly. You will stay on better terms with the staff that way. They will usually be happy to give you the d m phone number if you say you want to call corporate. Most d m s I know are happy to resolve issues for you!

  7. picchu

Thank you so much, Collin for the match ups!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome! 😀

  8. Monica

I went to CVS this evening since the store I shop triggers the new sale at 5pm. I got the Bayer Contour meter for $10 and I used a $3 off $10 diabetes care CVS CSO coupon (my store takes all expireds), and a $5 off Contour meter manu coupon from a Kroger pharmacy booklet. I used $2 ECBs, paid no tax, and got back $10 ECBs.

    • GPY

I forgot I have a $3 off $10 diabetes care CVS coupon as well, thanks for posting!

  9. Jeanne

    Edy,
I would carry my cell phone with me into the store and if the manager comes up with his not accepting coupon rules, I would call customer service at CVS right on the spot and explain to them what is happening in this particular CVS. I would think they will take care of talking to this manager for you.

    • cathy

I’ve also asked to use THEIR phone to call corporate! I let them dial the number and I talked, and then cashier and manager talked, and then there was a reasonable solution.

  10. Tracy

Has anyone been able to find the Gold Peak Tea at their CVS? I live in the northeast Ohio area and havent been able to find it and I tried three different stores.

    • Sasha

Do you think it might be something sold in certain regions, Tracy?
      Possible…
We’ve got it here in Atlanta area, but for my money Honest Tea is the best. Not too sweet…

    • Shayla

Found them I central Ohio last week. In the fridge section next to the small bottle sodas. Good luck.

    • Jess

I’m also in the northeast Ohio area and had trouble finding the Gold Peak Tea too, so I asked the cashier and she pointed them out to me. They didn’t keep them in the big coolers with all the other drinks. They were in a smaller cooler just to the left of the door as you walk into the store. I never even noticed that cooler before. Not sure if that would be the same for all the stores in our area.

    • val

it was on an end cap with the other drinks near the beverage isle…hth.

      • sheila

I was able to find the Gold Peak Tea after visiting a few stores in MA. Unfortunately, when I tried to use the .35 coupon, only one went through without problems and the second one beeped. The screen said something about duplicate coupon copy. She pushed one through but refused scanning the rest. I knew I was using the coupons correctly as I printed them from three different computers but didn’t want to waste the time to argue as I was on my way to work.

  11. Helen

The unadvertised deal, (CVS liner) can be done 3 times. I bought 2, at the bottom of my receipt it says I can do it one more time. Thank you, Collin and side kicks!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks!

  12. Griscelda

What would be considered “skin care”? Face wipes, lotion…?

    • cathy

i’ve used cvs coupons for skin care on facial skin cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. i think face wipes would count. i’m not sure about soap or body wash but my guess is yes (you rub these on your skin to care for your skin).

      • Griscelda

Awesome thank you so much! I thought it would work but wasn’t really sure.

    • CoolSue

I used it for gillette razors deal last week.. Facial skin care items rite ? Went thro without a beep!

      • melissa

Cvs classifies razors as a personal care item. skin care is stuff like cleansers, moisturizers, body wash, lotions.

  13. Vicki

On the CVS items buy $10 get $3 I have a coupon from the red machine for $4 off $10
for Skin Care. Does anybody know if that includes body wash?

    • mel.

Im thinking yes. i got the same coupon from the mcm and plan to pair it with the free body wash coupon!!

      • Kristen

I was hoping the body wash was included in this! I still have mine!

        • Dar

If you have the reinventing beauty magazine located in the beauty care area there are many cvs skin care product coupons. I think you can use these also. I,m going today to see what I can work up .

          • Jennifer

Thanks Dar for that reminder. You are right! Should make for a good deal!

            • Robin

I’m not sure you can, as both are cvs qs

      • Sandy

I was able to utilize both without a problem. No beeping by the computer.

        • Dar

Me too. With my coupons,25% and ECB got a lotion comparable to cervae for free!!!

  14. Noemi

Will the Nexus deal work even though it’s $.02 short?? Just want to make sure the deal will work…?

    • mel.

Yes. most deals work being a few cents short, there is a 98% rule so you only need $19.60 on a $20 deal.

    • Jennifer

      Yes

    • Janell

      Are the Nexus coupons gone???

      • Loretta

i cannot find Nexxus coupons either. Anyone know?? Thanks!

  15. tanyabcoupons

My ad has a 20% off coupon on the front page. I know it doesn’t count towards sale items, but how does the discount come off? Before coupons? After certain/all coupons? I can’t figure it out and I always wait until Collin posts the deals so I don’t have to think about it!

    • mel.

I found that in order to get the ad coupon to work properly, is to have the cashier scan some items First, then give your extracare card followed by coupons/ecbs. if the cashier scans your card first, then items, the % off doesnt deduct off the non sale items that are also ecb deals in the ad.

      • Sandy

That’s why! I did a deal which included 1 Almay foundation ($14.49) and a Physician’s Formula product (8.49) and my 25% q took off $1.25. The cashier scanned a coupon for $3/$15 BEFORE my 25% like I wanted to. It worked out fine, just not as good as I thought. Oh well, there’s always another deal tomorrow.

  16. cathy

i usually hand over the 20% off coupon first. it does not take discount off of sale items. then i hand over other coupons. and then extra care bucks.

  17. H.M.

I have a question. I got my first rain check from CVS yesterday for the clinical deodorant for four dollars, and then I have three dollar off coupons to use, too. When I use the rain check, am I able to use a $10 off of $ 50 if my purchase totals $50, or have any of you had trouble with that when using rain checks?

    • Sandy

Rain checks are only problematic in that you won’t get credit for the everyday price, just the rain check price. So, the Secret Clinical deodorants have a regular price of $8.99 (at least at my store it is) and the rain check price is $4. Just count $4 in your tally towards $50.

  18. Vishnu

U can use 10 off 50. The rainchrck is just like doing the same deal a different day. As they are out of stock.

    • H.M.

      Great!! Thanks!!!!

  19. amy

i have a question regarding the $5 off $25 beauty coupon that was emailed last week. does it matter what order it is scanned? (before or after manufacturer coupons) thanks in advance!

    • Ali

it doesn’t seem to matter what order coupons/items are scanned. i had a 25% off yesterday that she scanned first and it was taking $12 off..but then she scanned my mnf and other coupons and you could see on the screen it kept adjusting down my 25% off…so it ended up being around $10 instead. i think the computers just do it on their own.

      • melissa

If you are using a % off with a true cvs store coupon, then it will reduce the overall % off. i think that $5 off from the beauty club rang up as a cvs coupon rather than a cvs manuf coupon, so that could by why the % off was reduced. if you used a $5 beauty club buck, pharmacy reward buck or a force printed buck, those also ring up as a cvs coupon and will reduce the % off. to get the most %off, just use it alone and pay wit ecbs that were generated by wekly deals. example: total is $25 the % off at first calculates $6.25. then you use a 5/25 email coupon. the register will now figure the % off based on a $20 purchase (25-5 coupon) brining the discount to $5 instead.

    • Sandy

If you had a % off coupon to go with the $5/$25, or a $3/$15 shampoo, it might. If your total beauty product purchase is $25 and you have $15 in shampoo, you’d use the $5/$25 first, then $3/$15 shampoo. If you used the $3/$15 first, your total would be less than $25 and therefore, the $5/$25 would beep.

      • melissa

All of the $/$$ coupons now say lmit of one purchase based coupon per transaction, so you shouldnt use a $3/15 with a $5/25 on a $25 purchase. some stores will let you use both if you have a total of $40 that meets the vale of both coupon amounts – 25+15.

        • Sandy

That isn’t true. I’ve used a $3/$15 shampoo and a $2/$8 soap coupon in combo. There is nothing in CVS coupon policy which is to the contrary. I work for CVS.

          • melissa

I have a friend that works for cvs and per her manager/dm, EACH purchase amount must be met in order to accept multiple off your purchase mcm coupons. lately all of the purchase coupons say in the fine print “LIMIT OF ONE PURCHASE BASED COUPON, IE $4 OFF $20 PURCHASE, PER TRANSACTION.” it doesnt matter what the purchase is for, skin care, cosmetics, vitamins. you can only use 1 per transaction, but many stores will let you use more as long as you meet each individual purchase amount.

    • Diane

The coupon I received is good for online purchases only. Bummer!

  20. Brandi

I wonder if the 25% cvs emailed q would work for the Kohls gift card, anyone know? I know the 25% q says not valid on gift cards, but that could mean just cvs gift cards. I know the gift cards for other places that Target sells are not excluded when something says not valid on gift cards. Anyone tried it?

    • Sarah

I have in the past, and I was surprised to see that YES it took the % off! My question is… Can I use ECB on the gift card, and still get back ECB… I have heard no, but I wanted to ask others….

    • Sandy

I have a 25% coupon and I was planning to pop into CVS today to buy a $50 Kohl’s gift card so, I’ll let you know. Wish me luck!

      • kim

Wow…please report back. That would be amazing!

      • Amanda M

Yes please let us know! That would be AWESOME! 🙂

        • Brandi

I just went to cvs. The 25% did not come off the Kohls gift card, but still a good deal since I shop at kohls often.

  21. momma

The 5ecb wyb the small cherry Jergens ended last week, it was a glitch they fixed. Its only printing 1ecb now (as the trial size monthly deal)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for letting me know. I just updated the post!

  22. Angie

FYI, the Sensodyne coupons from the All You magazine do not exclude travel size. So depending on where you use them, you could potentially get them free!

    • Samantha

      Awesome thanks!

  23. CW

Thank you so much Collin- $58.97 in items today across two transactions, gave them $1.65 cash out of pocket and got back $4 ECB (so I made $2.35!!!) truly amazing! :).

  24. Chee

I’ve had problems with the CVS store manager also. He said a coupon was only one per purchase. The good thing about it is that he still accepted the coupon! Plus, when I used a CVS coupon, he claimed it was a manufacturer coupon. I had to point out to him the coupon said it was a CVS coupon right at the top. He then decided to try to scan it & of course, the register accepted the coupon.

  25. Amy

Just did the chex mix deal and it seems that I can do the same deal one more time even though the ad says limited one per card/household. The chex mix deal was bulked together under the tostitos deal on my receipt.

    • Elle

in norcal, no ECB for Chex Mix, not appears at AD

  26. val

medley cheerios was not included in sale price 2/$5 at my cvs in SE WI…hth

  27. Mitzi

Cannot seem to find Nexxus coupon. must be gone!

  28. Katie

I have been informed by two different cashiers at my CVS that they will take expired coupons that print out of the MCM. They told me they will take them, to ignore the expiration date because they never expire. Has anyone else had that at their CVS?

    • Jeff

One cashier will take it 2 weeks past expiration. Another will take it 3 weeks to a month past expiration.

      • Roma

You guys must be lucky, at my cvs they wont take any expired coupons (even red machine coupons).

        • Jeff

Well the store manger says no we can’t. While other 3 mangers say they will!!!

    • ashley m

Yes my store accepts all expired red box qs!!

  29. Vicki

There is some chatter above about what order to give % off coupons, mnf cpns and ECB’s. I just wanted to mention, that in my experience, when you use a % off coupon and then an ECB to pay your % off will lower. They consider the ECB (in this case) like a coupon. And, Collin, THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO!!!! I made $18 dollars shopping at CVS yesterday!

    • melissa

Thats not correct. Only cvs store coupns will reduce the % off, like the $5 Beauty Buck or a force printed buck. ones you earn from the ad do not reduce the % off.

      • Karen

        Melissa is right

        • jen1022en

all ecb’s I’ve given have made the % off change 🙁

    • SJ

Vicki, My experiences have been the same as you state. I often won’t use the % off because it is too hard to calculate what you will actually get in the end.

    • Rebe

Check http://www.cuckooforcoupondeals.com, she says even $5 Beauty Reward affects the %, also paying with ECBs and forcing ECBs. To be honest, I have never understood it either but I have found that in a ~$100 purchase the % is off by no more than a $1, worst case scenario close to $2, as compared to my calculations, so I always use it!

  30. milly

I had a hard time finding the CVS Brand 1-count purse packs of protective pads…maybe my CVS does not carry them or was sold out. Any tips on where they could be hiding? Thanks

    • debbielynne

I found them on a peg at the end of the incontinence products aisle.

  31. Elle

in norcal, no ECB for Chex Mix, not appears at AD

  32. Nica

My 6/2 SS didn’t have the $2 colgate mouthwash…. sad because I can’t do the colgate mouthwash free.. 🙁

  33. maren

Hi Collin….the Bayer Contour coupon is no longer available even though the site is still up. I just called them 🙁

  34. Autumn Greene

Got an awesome deal yesterday! I went in to buy my papers and needed to pick up an eyeliner. I bought a Covergirl liner for 6.29 and decided to pick up an eyeshadow for 6.29. I also had a 25% off loaded to my card…I got to the register and the 25% off took off 5.70. I used my 4/12 cosmetic purchase from the red machine. and a 4/2 Covergirl eye products I got from my Cosmo mag. Paid 6.88 for everything before tax. and got a surprise at the bottom of the receipt! 3 ECB from covergirl!! I didnt see the deal in the paper…and there were no hang tags by it! Money Maker for me on Covergirl! lol

    • melissa

I’m not following how this is a money maker? if u paid 6.88 and got 3 ecb, then it cost you 6.88 ( or 3.88 if you factor in the $3 ecb ) money makers are when you pay less than the reward you are receiving.

      • Rebe

She made a mistake when she wrote she paid $6.88. She must have paid something around $1.50 and then got $3 ECBs=MM

    • zipperbunnie13

I meant to write if I hadnt bought papers it was a money making trip lol I was typing fast lol oops.

      • melissa
