My Dollar General will not accept manufactures coupons and Dollar General coupons together. Even this deal. It always rejects.
Their coupon policy states they accept 1 manufacturer and 1 store coupon for the purchase of 1 item. As long as neither coupon restricts the use of the other. I would complain if I was you.
If I am reading right, the dollar general coupon does restrict the use of another coupon for that product. In other cases where no such restriction was listed, I have never had an issue with stacking at my DG.
The DG cpns state not valid with any other DG coupon offer. I have found that to mean it can not be used with the $5/$25 or $5/$30
Same here…I’ve given up!
I think I will try another Dollar General. The last Kraft sale, the cashier could only scan one coupon and it was the coupon for the Jello. The Dollar General coupon wouldn’t scan. She didn’t even try to use the scan gun. I know other Dollar General stores do try the gun or they will put in the coupons manually. Maybe I’ll have better results this time.
I don’t think the $2/2 Kraft coupon is available any longer from DG. It’s not showing up.
At DG, you cannot combine a store coupon with a “like” store promo. Since the $2 off instantly kraft promo is going on, it takes a prorated amount off of each item. Therefore, the $2/2 dollar general coupon will not work. DG has the worst registers when it comes to couponing. It can’t take off two store discounts for the same item(s) so you need to choose the $2 off instantly or the $2/2 coupon. However, MQs should work just fine. You should always use $/2 or $/3 coupons last because sometimes they like to attach to “all” items in your transaction. Again, DG registers are the worse.
Also, don’t try to use any of the bogo sales at the same time you use the $5 off $25, it voids the bogo.
glad I’m not the only one who feels that way Sheri. DG is the worse for trying to use coupons; however, recently they have gotten so much better. Before the $/multiple products always caused a problem if the solo product was less than the value of the coupon (ie: $1.50/2 Nesquicks, Nesquicks on sale for $1.40 wouldn’t allow the coupon at all). Recently though I have had success with $1/3 Kraft mac ‘n’ cheese so I’m hoping this means they fixed the problem. We shall see…going to try to do the Kool Aid deal =)
I found this out last time when they had this deal going and I printed off DG Kraft coupons. Register would not take them, but it would accept 1 manufacturer coupon, BUT it ONLY took off something like $0.76 for my $1.00 coupon. It prorated it down even though the item was a $2.00 item. Did NOT make sense!! Needless to say, I left everything but the jello pudding. I wasted 45 minutes shopping and 1 hour clipping coupons and working our scenarios to get the best deal! Won’t go through that again!!
So if I buy the velvetta cheese 2 jellos and family sized cereal prob cinnamon toast crunch…nd get the bread free, free maxwell coffee and then 2 off for kraft promo….am I gona have a problem with doin that?
priceless face from the cashier when I got three boxes of Jell-O for a quarter. She ran right back to get the rest for herself after I checked out.
I got 4 deals of Jello/pudding for .25 each. I also bought 3 Kraft cheese slices, used a $2/2 Kraft DG coupon and 3 $1 MFQ, and I also received the 4@ discount, no beeps, no problems.
I then purchased 2 20% bonus-sized Kool-Aids, and an A1 steak sauce. I used $1/2 Koolaid MFQ, a .55 A1 MFQ, my second $2/2 Kraft DG coupon AND received the $2 discount as well, no problems.
I gave the cashier all of my coupons, and she scanned the DG coupon first. Perhaps that’s why it went through.
Collin there is a $1/2 Kraft Anything Salad Dressing in September All You Magazine.
Oops its .55off any 1 Kraft salad dressing 16oz or larger! Sorry!
I got 12 jello pudding and one Disney Mini Mouse Pillow Pet. Using the $1/2 coupon. My total came to $0.01
The cashier was shock!!! Haha
Which $1/2 coupon..how much was pillow pet
The $1/2 jello coupon in All You mag. And the Pillow Pet is $0.01!!!
Tell me more about this Pillow Pet… 🙂
Can 6 Jellos be purchased in one transaction for $4 off, or will two separate transactions have to be done? Thanks.
You can buy them all in same transaction. I bought several jellos and puddings with out any problems.. It comes off at the end!
First time shopping at dollar general. They would not take the $2/2 Kraft and I specifically bought 4 of the koolaids listed. I asked why, she said bc it won’t scan. I said you guys don’t honor your own coupon even when I am buying something that it is listed for. I was told no, it doesn’t scan. Ummm okay now I know why I don’t shop here.
So I am figuring out some deals for DG tomorrow but would like to know if I will be able to use $5/25 plus their store coupons that came out in the paper on sunday plus mfq? The store coupon says not valid with coupons for the same item so im thinking you cant stack these is this correct?
