   I just “chatted” with Toys R Us and they said these deals WERE available in store as well. You may want to call or check your local store if you see something you really wanted. 🙂

   I am new to shoprunner, I have a question. How do I go through ebates to get cash back and also shoprunner for the free shipping? TIA.

  First you go to ebates. Then you type in the store in the search box on the upper right side of the screen. Then it will take you to the button you need to click on to shop at that store. While its connecting you from Ebates to the store it will say, “You are on your way to earning cash back etc”. Then once you are checking out after you have shopped the stores website there will be a little “shoprunner” icon and you click on it to sign into shoprunner. On sites like Toys r us there are some shoprunner eligible items and some are not eligible. There is a shoprunner filter on the left hand side normally when you are shopping. HTH

   I didn’t get any of the Groupons for toys r us, but now we have a 5 yr old girl’s birthday party to go to tomorrow. Anyone know of any coupons out there to use in store? I really appreciate it. It’s my daughter’s first school birthday party that she’s been invited to so I have to take her although I’m on such a tight budget. Thanks!

  If you go to your local Kmart.. they have a sale where you get an additional 50% off all clearance toys. There are TONS at most stores (1-2 isles full). Some are good deals, some are not. HTH.

  They did last month. They had a few dolls + book + extra outfit set for only $58.95 shipped. Have never seen them that low, so I got my 4 year old her first Marie-Grace doll. It was a Today deal.. I think they do it every year around the same time from what I heard.

  Collin posted one of the Today deals for an AG doll for about $60 but they sold out FAST. I’ve been subscribing to their catalog for a while and the best I’ve seen is free shipping with minimum purchase. They do have a clearance section on their website but it’s usually just for the accessories and clothing.

  If your daughter really wants one, I’d consider getting the name brand doll and then saving money by buying other clothing, furniture and accessories rather than the AG brand. Walmart, Target, Toys R Us and Pottery Barn Kids all have their own 18″ dolls whose clothing/furniture/accessories should work fine with AG dolls. I’ve also seen quite a bit on Amazon.com and Etsy usually has some cute clothing and bedding. A lot of Kohl’s “Jumping Bean” brand pajamas come with a matching 18″ doll sized version.

  I agree with the above post. Buy your American Girl clothes from Michaels, JoAnn Fabrics, Walmart and Target. SOOO much cheaper than the authentic ones, and honestly, just as cute. Even the accessories are just as cute. Kohls sells dollie and me outfits like dresses and nightgowns that come with a matching one for the doll.

    In Hasbro games, get a $10 Toys R Us gift card, plus use the Hasbro coupons. I spent $31 before tax for 4 games and got a gift card.
