I prefer the BOB revolution that doesn’t have the fixed front wheel. Much easier to use.

    • Amanda

Was just coming to say that. I own a single and double BOB, both revolutions and love them! The rotating front wheel makes a huge difference.

Thank you for your input! We are looking to get a duallie (baby #2 on the way and a 3 yr old) and I keep reading reviews for these. We do a lot of walking, hiking, shopping trips, parks and zoos and it seems the revolution is the way to go.

        • Sam

Yes you want the Revolution! I love mine!

Does anyone know the diff between this one and the BOB jogging stroller that sells for around $600? Also is this compatible with an infant car seat?

  3. Bekah

I have this one, the blue one. It’s a GREAT jogging stroller, and for outdoor things like amusement parks or zoos but I would spend a little more for the Revolution if it is going to be an everyday stroller. The fixed front wheel is perfect for running but it’s a hassle for trying to steer in tight quarters. Great price though!

Hello, I have a gently used BOB stroller for sale, $200. It is pink and brown, and in mint condition. I’m in the Washington DC area. Please contact me at loveasale50@yahoo.com if you are interested. Thanks. Happy New Year.

I had a single fixed wheel and a double fixed wheel. For some reason the double fixed wheel is extremely easier to walk with than the single. Maybe because the weight of two kids makes it easier to maneuver? I walk with my two boys in it around a track (think:it’s not a straight line) and it’s surprisingly easy to maneuver! We also used the double fixed wheel on a paved hike to a waterfall in the Smoky Mountains a few weeks ago. It was perfect! And a hike, even on a paved (yet rough) trail was not difficult. In fact it was easy and much safer than using the rotating wheel. The shocks in the double fixed wheel are perfect for off-terrain type environments. I would not recommend it for taking your kids to grocery shop or go shopping in the mall. In fact I wouldn’t recommend the single for that either. A revolution model is better for going to the zoo, Disney works, long trips like that.. But anyway I hope this helps some people in their decision making!

Yesterday’s Amazon deal for BOB Revolution SE was a better deal, without tax. This is the best price i’ve ever seen for the Sport utility one though!nyouncan also price match at Babies R Us and Buy buy Baby

I bought the Britax B-Agile travel system with these codes. It is a fantastic price – way cheaper than amazon as well. If you don’t want to the spend the money on a jogger, the Britax travel system is fantastic!

does anyone have any recommendations on car seats? I have one that is rear facing around 28 pounds and a forward facing 35 pound. They are currently both is safety 1st alpha omega car seats and was looking to get another set either to take the place and put them in our second car or get a set just to put in our second car. I’m having a hard time decided on what is the best deal/value

    • S

I need some recommendations on car seats as well, first time mommie and my baby is 15 lbs so I figure I should start looking for a safe but decent priced front facing one.

      • Alydia

The graco my size/size4me/ head wise. All same seat with different padding. Just under different names at different stores.
It’s got one of the tallest shells on the market. It’s around $180 and will last your kid till it’s time for a booster.

Don’t get britax unless your kid is 30^ or less in the height range, they do not last long in the height area. The diono radian seats are great seats with high weight and height limits and are narrow, but they can be pricey. The safety first guide 65 is a good budget seat but you’ll likely need to get another seat down the road before your baby is ready for a booster around age 4-5 depending on their size. If you tell me your budget I can give you more specific seats.

Kohls has more than one BOB, so look around. The Revolution that I was looking at should come to $272 before tax. $425 – 20% – 20%.

I bought one of these for my best friend a few months ago using my Kohls charge card 30% discount (she doesn’t have a card and sent me a check) and earned Kohls Cash. After Kohls Cash, it was only $237. I also had her temporarily change her Upromise pw to something generic and send me her login so I could start there. She LOVES the revolution stroller!

Even if your not a runner, another thing to consider is if you live in an area with steep hills. Strollers with swivel wheels (such as the revolution) do not have handbrakes. All the Bob strollers are lightweight and great for pushing up steep hills, but only the sports utility and ironman have handbrakes for managing going down. I have taken our single single sports utility stroller (fixed wheel) to crowded outdoor events with no problem, but I would’t try to take it to the mall. I’m due with #2 in march and we already bought a double ironman for a great deal on craigslist, but it will be used almost exclusively for neighboorhood walks.

I am so glad you posted about this! I would never have thought to check Kohls for a Bob stroller!

I have a Kelty Deuce Coupe and I prefer it to the Bob. I had a Bob dual one before, but my kids are tall and heavy and we are a tall family and I felt like my arms were at my hips pushing it and ergonomically it changed my form. It always pulled to the side to my heavier child. I wish I would have tested it out before I bought it, but I purchased it based on reviews. The kelty has a fixed wheel and a bigger footboard for the kids and a bigger cover over the front wheel…my son got his shoe laces tangled in the Bob and his foot was well bruised. The backs are more of a sling style rather than a stiff board and my kids can sit in it for hours. I do change my tire tubes and tread every couple of months ($50) and my brake annually but if you are going to pay big bucks for a stroller you might as well use it, but you need to account for the maintenance too.
Try it out somewhere before you buy it to make sure it is a good fit, especially since it can be one of the more expensive purchases for baby gear.

Can the double revolution fit through doorways to go shopping?

  14. Dori

I’m getting an error message: “kls_error_checkout_cvs_not_match_error.” I hope it doesn’t mean this deal won’t work!

    • Dori

Scratch that! My credit card security code was wrong. Whoops! 😀 (I paid $263.59 for the BOB Ironman, and am very happy!)
