I ordered some last time this deal was up in December and just a heads up, they are short scarves. Super cute and great quality but it you like that fuller look, you have to tie them diagonally and use as an infinity scarf

I don’t think it’s that she is supporting other countries than America, it’s that she’s posting deals where the deals are best. I certainly appreciate it, and I appreciate that there are deals out there that help me with my budget, even if they are not in America. In this day and age it’s impossible to buy things only made in the USA. There’s nothing wrong w/buying from other places anyway. I’m sure ALL you have,Jill, isn’t made/from the US. Like the computer or phone you’re writing from,probably not made in the USA. Sounds like you’re just trying to be a snob.
IMHO, it’s pretty unrealistic for most AMERICAN families to buy only US made products. Even if it is made in the USA, the parts to make it probably came from overseas. I try to buy local & USA made when I can but let’s face it, it’s more expensive. Thank you Collin for posting ALL deals!
I think it is important that we realize how much of our items come from China, there is something to be said about that!
Good for your young daughter to want to be more aware, she will really have her eyes opened! We should buy American when we can and when it makes sense. The fact is that we Americans are not the best at everything and we need to realize that and please help her understand that.
It is ok to buy non American, we just need to be aware of our buying habits and make sure it is a really good deal all things considered.
Take her to all the stores you would normally buy things and have her see just how much of the items that you would normally purchase are American. By the way I am not sure that I have seen a scarf made in America unless it was handmade and the supplies bought here although I cannot guarantee that the supplies are made here.
Oh, gosh. I wish I had been more specific on my comment. These scarves are not only made in China but are shipped from China. That means that no one, except Amazon in the U.S. makes any money on them. I understand that it is nearly impossible to not buy items from China. Today, Collin posted a deal for scarves from Scents of Style. It would support an American business if you were to buy these instead of the ones from Amazon.
You know, all of your replies aren’t very productive either folks. How about you all follow the advice you’re giving and “move on” or not say anything “rude?”
I like Jill’s comment and reply, she makes some valid points. Some of the others make valid points too. It’s impossible to buy only American but you could atleast try. I mean, do you really need ANOTHER scarf, even if it’s “only” $3? Consumerism is rampant, especially cheap China consumerism. Let’s just give China a few more of a dollars and watch USA whither away

I have purchased quite a few scarves on Amazon that have all shipped from China…. and I LOVE them! They are a little on the thin side, but they are still awesome. The patterns are beautiful, the length is great, and you definitely can’t beat the price! I’ve told myself that I won’t purchase a scarf unless it’s less than $10, so scarves for $1.99 fit right in! 🙂
