Can someone please explain this promo to me in detail, such as a scenario, so I can understand how this works? I didn’t participate last time it was on because I didn’t understand what people were doing.
You buy a denim article: jeans, skirts etc, from any department. It works best on clearance baby and kids cloths.this is what I did the first time.
Buy baby clearance jeans pay $1.98 out of pocket. Get coupon worth $10 towards next apparel or shoe purchase.
The $10 coupon Includes sale and clearance but excludes anything ending in $.98 or any item that is not a door buster. Other exclusions on coupon.
Some people are allowed to roll, so they use the $10 coupon to buy $8.01 in merchandise and another $1.99 denim item, and get another $10 denim coupon back. But this is very up to the stores discretion.
Also, it’s supposed to be one $10 coupon but it can be per jean item or per purchase/transaction. So some people would buy 5 baby jeans and get 5 $10 coupons. Great deal but again very cashier/store dependent. And realize that the cashiers often forget to give you the coupon so make sure to prompt them if you don’t receive one.
You can use the 10 on levis that is the only time you can use a coupon

Last time, I bot a $3 Levi’s girls Capri and got the $10 Q! Great deal if you could find cheap denim.
I got so many pair of shorts for my daughter last summer that will last her a couple years. They let me use on pretty much any short not just denim…so it depends on the cashiers.
Wait! So only if I purchase Levi’s (baby,kids etc) will I receive the $10 of coupon?! I thought it was on any denim purchase ?! 🙁
It is on any denim item no specific brand. I got them on every denim item and denim looking item bought but did different transaction for each item because my cashier would only allow one per transaction.

if I have 3 $10 coupons can i use them all on one dress?
I think it has to be one per transaction. I tried to buy an item that was around $23 and use two of them, but they would only let me use one. The cashier said that the register wouldn’t let them do it, so I’m thinking it’s a store thing and not necessarily dependent upon how the cashier feels. Some people may have different experiences though!
Macy’s is my favorite store to shop. You can only use one coupon per transaction. But you can do many transactions as long as you have a coupon when it’s time to checkout. I have done 4 transactions in one sitting and paid less than $10 in all the transactions.

They had lots of kids clearance for less than 10$.
When they did this at the end of last summer, I rolled the deal with junior clearance jean shorts that were like $6 or something. That allowed me to get a whole bunch of clearance Carter’s summer clothes for my baby for $1 a piece, by using my $10 coupon to purchase a $6 pair of jean shorts (giving me another coupon) and 2 clearance baby outfits. She is set for this summer and all the shorts will be donated!
Last time I did this promo, back in August, I purchased two denim items on clearance for a few dollars apiece and then got two $10 coupons, which I used to purchase baby outfits for $1.98 each…

So I ended up buying 6 outfits per coupon ($11.88 total) – $10 coupon = $1.88 for 6 outfits (plus tax). I did this for each coupon (so 12 outfits total) and it ended up working out to around 50 cents per outfit, and it was a lot of nice things! Clearance is the way to go!
My store in Modesto Ca would only let each customer get one coupon. I talked to a manager and asked why this wasn’t stated anywhere. He gave me 8 coupons for all the jean items I had bought but said they would be changing the signs to read one per person.

Yes the kids had 2 racks in girls and 2 in boys. I didn’t look for women’s except for coats. They had great sales on the coats.

I went to Modesto earlier today too, but I didn’t see any clearance denim. Maybe four pants in the boys section that were on clearance for about $30. Maybe they took the denim away. The blue boys pants I bought they said didn’t qualify for the $10 coupon.

When I was there there was a lot of denim in the racks. A bunch of girls that was $15 and baby for as little as $5. I got a women’s pair on clearance for $17 then 20% off and got the coupon.
I went to macys earlier today and they said you get the coupon when you spend $30 or more on a pair of jeans.
I went to Macys and got a pair of First impressions short on clearance for $5.22 after 20% shopping pass. I then tried to use the $10 coupon for my shoe purchase but they said you can only use 1 coupon per transaction. I have to go back and look at the clearance to a great way to spend my coupon I wish I can use it online. I don’t have a car today. Thanks Collin for posting.
