I am so sorry..I am a novice at couponing and I clicked on it, but I only have $1.00 off coupons of Tide Plus collection or Ultra Stain Release. UGH….what I am I doing wrong….oh I did type in that zip code too.

Dollar General won’t take coupons printed off of my black and white laser printer even though their store policy says that they should take them. I guess the general manager knows better than corporate. I don’t even go in there anymore.
I agree Courtney, it is a nightmare trying to use ANY coupons at my Dollar General. I even have spoken to the district manager and she said she would contact my store and educate them on how to manually put in coupons if they beeped and when I went back to use coupons again the same thing happened and they said there was nothing they could do AGAIN. I will not go in that store anymore but hopefully other people have better experiences and can get in on this deal.
I get surveys mailed to me at least once a month. I always mention how hard it is to use qpons there.

My DG doesn’t seem to understand their own coupon policy either. They don’t accept internet printed coupons at all, not even their own (makes a lot of sense doesn’t it? lol) and they won’t let you use more than 1 coupon per transaction. So if you wanted to buy 4 bottles of Tide, good luck, because they’ll only let you use 1 coupon and not 4 and you can’t combine it with any of the $ off $$ coupons or anything else. Basically, you can’t coupon at all if you follow their rules that aren’t part of the policy. I’ve called and written formal complaints to corporate about this particular store and their inability to follow the policy but they have yet to do anything about it or respond. It’s frustrating to say the least. So now I just price match their stuff at Wal-Mart.
The Wal-Mart in Oak Ridge, TN will not price match Dollar General.
The Wal-Mart in Zion, IL that I use to work at would price match any store within a 30 mile radius, the only store they would not ad match was the Aldi. The few Wal-Mart stores that I frequent in Maryland also ad match DG but don’t with Aldi. Your Wal-Mart should ad match DG because it is a competitor. I would call the 800# for Wal-Mart and let them know that your store in Oak Ridge, TN is not following the policies, I would also mention this to the stores manager or the marketing manager of the store.
I’ve been to dollar General once and they did not take my coupons because the items I was buying were on sale (it was the can veggies) and then read lots of comments with the same issues. Not going there no more and their stuff is expensive. Don’t like it anyway. Good luck to everyone else.
I can’t help but wonder if this is a really great deal. I know it’s tide and all but it sucks that they’ve gone down 10 oz. They were already small.
Idk but they are tiny bottles in person. I can’t see how paying anymore than $2.50 is a great deal since the 40oz is 25 loads and I’m sure not 25 large loads.
Don’t have the coupons, but I’ll take tide for $2.95, hassle free! 😉

How does this tide work. Has anyone used them.
FYI. I read in the Wall Street Journal a while back that Tide created the simple line to compete with the less expensive ALL and Arm & Hammer laundry soap. So this Tide simple is not the same formula as the regular Tide we all know and love. I haven’t tried Tide simple so I don’t know how well it works. Just wanted to add my 2 cents in case anyone cares. 🙂
I read that same article RL. I’ll have to go look for it again, but I think it also mentioned that they’re cutting the number of loads per bottle but not the price of them to compensate the costs of the new low-cost version.

yes, I bought this new Tide a few weeks ago and they all say HE compatible.
I would rather price match @ Walmart and use my coupons there.

If you go to coupons.com and select “Household” from the categories list, you should be able to find the coupon listed there, if it isn’t then it’s probably reached its print limit. I wasn’t able to find it with the provided zip code either, but did find it by doing it this way. Hope this helps! =)

Went to my dollar general and of course, they were out so I went to one a little further away and they had plenty (hidden away from the detergent aisle) so I picked up 9 bottles but I didn’t have enough service to open up the $5/25 in the store and they were out of the ones that they had in store. Still a good deal though! They didn’t give me any problems about my coupons like most do!

My store only had 2!. But got.those and of course the.coupon would not scan so he had to enter manually
If you can’t find it, click on the tide bottle that says it opens up a new window, it will be there.
Just tried to use the sale with the coupons with the Tide and Downy…the manager would not accept the coupons “said the items were discounted as low as they can go”.
What is up with that??
