Was able to get 2 at 1.49 each, two transactions, two cartwheel accounts. No issues at all. I guess it will depend who will ring u up. Also by reading from the comments, I was able to call ahead and have them hold them at the CS desk. Thanks a ton.
I called and they said they have 2 in stocks so I asked if they can put one on hild for me and the customer service said they can’t put it on hold for me coz it’s a deal for the day so I rushed and drove there and when I got there it’s gone so I asked one of the staff and he said they have 3 and one is on hold while the other two are no where to be found. Anyway, I told the guy I called and asked the staff to hold it for me and she said she can’t so here I am rushed here and you’re gonna tell me it’s on hold? You think that is fair? I came here first just to make sure I get it and then it’s gone coz it’s on hold. The staff doesn’t know what to say so he called the manager and tried to trace where the two remaining are. Failed! So he came back with apology coupons worth $10 and said to use it when the game get in stocks and be able to get it on the same price. I hope they all communicate so they know what to tell customers. He said they are allowed to hold it and he doesn’t know why the person I talked on the phone said no. Oh well, at least I have $10 now that I can use for somwthing else..lol!
When I calle they said they have 2 and when I got there they said they’re supposed to have 3 but don’t know what happened tonthe two.
I am thinking the ones who got it, what mattered was, the online price matching is done, as target price and not as competition price. I gave manufacture coupon 1st and then cartwheel and the system automatically did it. Nothing was forced or pushed. So who knows how their system works. May be those who are having trouble ca do it in this order and may have luck. Price match (I used printout ,so they don’t have to look up), manuf. coupon. Then cartwheel.

I got one today (Richmond, VA). No problem with coupon or Cartwheel. It was $18.99 though. Does Target price match their own site? Didn’t think to ask – I was in a hurry. Also, they had signs up to text PETS1 to 827438 for a $10/$40 pet food coupon (it includes cat litter but excludes pet treats).
Looks like some people had luck with price matching but I know my store wouldn’t do it – they are so awful with coupons! I am just going to be happy with my $4.49 vs. $18.99 price!

At my Target in Ohio Hungry Hippos was 20.99 so after cartwheel and coupon was 5.99 I passed but got a black and decker convection toaster oven on clearance 19.48 marked down from 64.95 🙂
I got the last one at my store and it was priced 24.99! They price matched at the service desk for $12.99 and then after cartwheel and manufacturers coupon I paid just $2.01. So fun 🙂

Ugh! Left my house and every target around me had stock. I get to the store and none left at most locations! Darn it! I wanted it for my daughter’s easter basket. Oh well.
I made a late night run and THANKFULLY found the only two left I couldn’t believe it!! The cashier wouldn’t price match at the register even though I had taken a picture of the item online for $12.99. Ugh… There wasn’t anyone at customer service to price adjust since it was late. What is Target’s time frame on price matching after the transaction is made? Does anyone know time frame? TIA:)
