Thank you! We don’t eat sugar, so this is perfect to add to my 3 yo Easter basket.

Ok I have a question, We just moved to the US so this is going to be the first time we celebrate Easter, my question is if I should tell my son that we prepare the basket for him or it should be a surprise like the bunny brings it to him? I’m sorry this may be a really dumb question just wondering! TIA

    • Erin

I think most people hide the baskets. Half the fun is looking for it on Easter morning.

    • K

Say it’s from the Easter Bunny πŸ™‚ Things are only magical to kids for so long. Kinda like Santa Claus leaving goodies and toys in the stocking at Christmas!

    • christi

It depends, we do a basket and eggs but we don’t say it’s from the Easter bunny, it just always seemed silly to me as a kid so it doesn’t seem necessary now. But everyone is different, do what you think your kids would enjoy!

it’s whatever you want to say do or believe…however you feel…my youngest is now 10 so they no longer believe in the bunny but my current 14 year old wrote notes to him for years and has every note he wrote back to her…she doesnt’ want to part with them so obviously those memories mean something to her. I always just display their baskets prettily on table but many folks hide them…we live in Washington so the weather doesn’t always cooperate and our house has no storage nooks or crannies for hiding

I see!!! Thank you so much everyone for taking the time to replied. I just got the idea πŸ™‚

Great deal! Thanks, Collin! Did you find it in the movie section of the store, or by the Leapfrog toys? Thanks!

    • Dan

I found one in the dvd/blu-ray section but it was on an end-cap and not with the other leapfrog dvds (had to do some searching).

Heads up the coupon prints at the top and there is an ad at the bottom. Stop printing after the coupon to save your ink.

    • Mary

Or clip another coupon along with it! And it won’t print with the ad.

Anyone have this DVD and recommend it? I am “one of those” that is extra picking, I only like my kiddos watching educational stuff =) No offense, but half the kids stuff these days I think are mindless. We bought two books for the Easter basket and was thinking of a “movie” too. TIA

    • Amy

We have the original “Letter Factory” DVD from LeapFrog and it does a fine job in introducing letters and the sounds they make. This series is certainly educational. πŸ™‚

    • Jen M

My kids LOVE these movies. They are very educational with no questionable content. πŸ™‚

    • Shayla

Thanks ladies, I heard reviews from others that said these were educational but these parents were also the ones that highly recommended sponge bob and teenage mutant turtles =) I am trying to limit TV watching but want an special “movie” that is a reward for the kiddos. Will have to try to snag this one if I can!

  8. Anne

Is there a zip code I need to use? I can’t access it. πŸ™

  9. rachael

Collin, you are such a character! πŸ™‚ You always make me smile. I can’t believe you said “holla! holla!” LOL
