Just came from Walgreens and they wouldn’t take the $1.00 Post coupon for the Morning Energy b/c it says redeemable at Walmart. Has anyone had this situation? I tried to explain that it is a manufacturers coupon but they wouldn’t take it.
Walgreens associates most of the time are not friendly on coupon shoppers…I have around 4 Walgreens near my place in indianapolis and they show their face when we buy with coupons…I somehow feel CVS guys are much better than Walgreens. Walgreens associates behave as if they are paying out from their own pockets….
The one in 86th and Michigan road Walgreens in indianapolis is the best example for this…
We are disappointed many times
Honey bunches was over $4 at my store
Did you make sure to price check? Often the stores forget to tag items that are in fact on sale.
I did
Well, darn!
If your Kroger or Smith’s is having the Mega Event Sale, the Cocoa pebbles and Honey Bunches of Oats are $1.49, paired with a $1/2 – 2/23 SS and catalina you can get 4 boxes for .24 cents each. I did it twice over the weekend. My Wags never has enough cereal on the shelf and the Smith’s Cocoa pebbles/HBO are the family size boxes, more cereal for less money!
I went last night. I picked up 4 boxes of Fruity/Cocoa Pebbles and one box of Morning Energy Honey Bunches of Oats. I had $1.00 off coupons on all of them. So I paid $4.95 and got a $3.00 RR. I didn’t get a $4.00 RR. I figured you only got the RR’s back on the Pebbles, not the Honey Bunches of oats. But, still $4.95 with $3.00 back isn’t bad!!!!
post cereal and the frozen burgers are not on sale at my Walgreens in NY, bummer
