did the deal this morning, and yes! it beeped! (this sounds always made me nervous), luckily I’m a little famous at my walgreens because of using coupons and also sharing you site to them as my number once choice for couponing. They manually entered it. I just made a joke that maybe the reason why the walgreens store coupon beeped because the color of the pens are white and I am buying the black one. They just agreed haha.
Wouldn’t the deal be sweater with the 20 percent off regular purchase coupon?

using an IVC gives the item a “sale price” so the % won’t work.
beeped for me too. girls said “oh, sorry there is nothing I can do” We were already backing up the line (IC 3 ANYONE?) so we left.

IC3, is an employee code for I see 3 customers waiting. Built on the philosophy of “nobody waits at walgreens”. I don’t believe the deal matches the pic as the deal is for inkjoy the item pictured with coupon is not inkjoy
If you look closely, the coupon says Paper Mate Profile OR Inkjoy. I’ll be passing as my patience level with beeping coupons and cashiers is low! Lol
Went to my Walgreens in Texas and i had the same issue. However my cashier manually entered in the coupon. Got two packs of pens for $.60. I think it just depends on you get.
Went to my Walgreens here in NC, and it beeped when she scanned the coupon. She would not manually adjust it because the pens are originally priced at $2.19 here. She said that just didn’t sound right for them to be only $0.19. UGH!

I’m pretty sure the InkJoy four-color pen is $2.59, regular price. Just another option. I’m kind of addicted to four-color pens. Lol

This coupon is for the Profile Elite.
The coupon wouldn’t work for the Profile. The cashier tried the profile elite and it went through no issues.

Well the coupon doesn’t say elite so they should still let it go through.
That’s what I was telling them but they said they tried to adjust pen price from $1.99 to $2.00 but still wouldn’t work. I bought the elite that was $2.99.
I went to another store and the elite and the ink joy were tagged there.
At my wags the pens are tagged 2.29 but they rang up 1.89. Cashier said nothing they can do, can’t use coupon, can’t adjust coupon etc. So I left without the pens.
Pretty sad that they have their own store coupon beeping and people are obviously buying the right product but some employees won’t work with the customer and enter/adjust it. That is what I do not like about Walgreens.
At my store, they are $2.29 and the coupon beeped. After having the cashier look over the product and coupon several times, she agreed that it matched and put it through with no complaining 🙂
They were $2.19 at my store! So only $0.19 each! I bought 6 packs. What a great deal!

I think this situation is a very good example of why its SOO important to look closely at the coupon and product. It’s evident with the picture that item doesn’t match the displayed product. It’s thrilling to score an amazing deal, but it should be thrilling when done honestly. Wouldn’t want situations like this to stop us from couponing altogether
The coupon was used correctly. The picture on the coupon is for inkjoy but profile can also be bought using the coupon. Nothing was done dishonestly. Walgreens just needs to fix their own glitch.
If you look closely at the coupon the picture is of the ink joy and it states profile, not elite profile. no one is using it incorrectly. they might have made a typo in leaving out the elite but that is NOT our fault.

my walgreen’s was out of the $2.19 pkg. but the store manager let me use my coupon on the $2.39 package, the coupon says 2.00 off any 2 pack profile pen. I only bought one package, but might go back for some additional packages for my grandson’s school. I purchased 2 bags of easter grass @.50 each, the package of pens, final cost after 2.00 coupon and 99cent reward was 40cents.
Can we use 20% off with walgreens store coupon?
I went yesterday and there are $2 off Profile and Ink Joy, the Profile were $3.19 and the Ink Joy was $3.99 so neither were 39 cents a pkg.
Can you get multiple packs of pens with the one Walgreens coupon? I hAvent shopped at Walgreens in so long!
My store wouldn’t take it after the beep 🙁 the cashier said it has to be tagged. I pointed out that the tags are incorrect all the time and she said that wasn’t possible.
These were priced at $3.99 at my Walgreens. 🙁 Darn.
The Inkjoy pens are 3.99 but the Profile pens are likely less

I made the mistake of buying the Inkjoys instead but I don’t regret it because they are really nice. They have a nice weight to them and write really fluidly.
