Don’t forget to use your $3 from local ads that expire in 2 days! 😉

Was there a coupon in the ad, Fran?thanks

      • fran

No, I’m talking about the free points from Kmart and Sears that Collin posted last week. That’s what the points are called: local ad points.
        Sorry for the confusion!

        • Kylie collins

ok–thanks…can’t ever figure out how to get those “ad” points

          • fran

Collin posts them when they are available, so just keep an eye out! You have to be quick, as there is a limit, and when they’re gone, they’re gone! 😉

            • Kylie collins

              k–thank you!

Just did this deal last week with points from my local ad and just did it again. 2 bags for free! Going to give one to Dad and one to my son so he can play handyman with Pawpaw! 🙂

    • Ashleigh

What do you mean points from your local ad

      • fran

They are called local ad points, they aren’t from an actual ad.
They are the free points that Collin posts about from Sears and Kmart.

Cassie or Fran—is there a $3.00 coupon in the sales ad? can I find the coupon in the store (in the ad)–thanks

      • fran

        See my comment above, Kylie!

        • Cassie

As Fran said, they are points awarded for looking at the local ad on their website. They run the offer at various times throughout the week. The points available for use this week were earned last week.

            thanks, Cassie

Cute idea with giving the little one a tool bag! I just started an adult tool box for my 12 yr. old, but would have loved to have given him a bag like this when he was little.

Got one for 15 cents after the $3.00 syw points.thamks 🙂

I read all the comments and I’m still confused.

Every week, Kmart and Sears offer free points for clicking on their online ads, and Collin always posts when the free points are available. If you haven’t been clicking on the ads, then you won’t have the free points available to you. You might have surprise points in your account to use, though, even if you don’t have the local ad points, or the points from the grilling accessories deal if you did that one. Hope that helps! 🙂

Jessica, do you belong to Shop Your Way? That is what we are talking about.
Collin posted for SYW members to go to Sears ad page and Kmart ad page to get free points. What I am referencing from my original post, the $3, is from a post Collin posted about last week. HTH!

Just bought 2 for my gift shelf. You can’t go wrong for the price. I thought I ‘d fill them with some basic tools as a starter set for Christmas for my adult children.:) thanks Colin!

We use a large tool box for a first aid kit and this makes a great travel first aid kit everything fits and it is sturdy to hold everything you need (can you tell I have a few kids and many scrapes and accidents in my house!) Pack it with all you need and leave it in the car 🙂

  9. Lonna

I don’t have a k’mart close, I wonder if Sears would match the price?

  10. susan

Yay! I got 3. One for the hubby and two for the kids. 🙂 I used my reward points and paid nothing. Thanks!
