Our neighbors give us their used produce bags from the supermarket. Free and a great way to get a second use out of those bags!

Thank you for scooping up the poop.

      • Bunny

We are diligent about picking up the poop. We oftentimes will pick up poop from other dogs whose masters leave it behind. We feel like the less poop there is laying around, the more likely others will clean up after their pet.

These bags will break down over time, just like dog poo. Plastic bags from the grocery store do not.

      • Bunny

Yes I agree that the produce plastic bags from the grocery store don’t break down. However, most people simply throw them away and they fill up the landfills. At least this way they are getting a second use which is always a good thing 🙂

Or you could bring your own bags to the grocery store so that no more plastic bags get into circulation! Those grocery bags NEVER break down.

          • Bunny

I bring my own cloth bags to the grocery store. But I do use the plastic produce bags in the produce section. Those are the ones we re-use for poop bags.

These also work great in diaper bags… for human pups. 😉

i get mine from the dollar store

    • Jessica

I do, too. Probably don’t break down like these ones supposedly do but…I get 50 bags in a package for $1. That’s much cheaper than these. They work great and don’t cost an arm and a leg. We reuse bags sometimes, too. Yes, I know they don’t break down…but I think it’s better to be reusing them for something like that than just tossing them away. I know very few people who actually recycle them.

Which dollar store do you find them at?

    • Laura

Yes, I’d like to know also. Love a great deal on poo bags

You have to pick up poop? That mayor in the news last week doesn’t think so, LOL. He put dog poop in his neighbor’s yard. I’ll have to find a link.
