I think it’s made from soy beans. It tastes HORRIBLE!!! Give me meat, real meat.
I grabbed a bag of this the last time the free product rolled around and was skeptical to say the least. We’re a hunting, meat and potatoes type family, so “fake meat” wasn’t high on my list of things that are appetizing. Does it taste like real chicken? Nope. Is it good? Surprisingly I thought it really was.
If I don’t have any leftover chicken, roast, whatever I can throw a few strips of this on a salad to bring to work with me. They’re thawed by lunchtime and I get a yummy protein addition to my meal.

Stores where I live do not accept computer printed coupons for free items so I always miss out on these offers. I wish it was a high value coupon that would make the item free or near free instead. 🙁

i know kroger does cause I used the free core drink there the day before yesterday.
This is the worst crap EVER…we got this at publix during last coupon to try free..and threw it out…it is nasty..just saying..and, all on the forum agreed.
I like it and so does my husband. I eat it plain and in recipes. It doesn’t smell amazing when I cook it but otherwise we think it’s great, especially when it’s free!

I used this at Whole Foods last time it was offered without a problem. it’s great! Of course, now when I try to print it prints in very large font and only half the coupon. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Change your printer settings. I went to print preview and clicked on landscape, it still prints on the entire page but it’s the whole coupon.
My coupon prints small and the small font isn’t legible at all, anyone know how to print it larger so the small font can be read? My store doesn’t accept the coupon if the small font isn’t legible… 🙁
I used the Beef-free Crumble in homemade chili and really liked it, so did hubby!
we tried the “chicken strips” and my kiddos wouldn’t touch it with a 10ft pole :o( They all tried one bite and then pushed it away and our baby started tossing it…haha! I tried it as well….and let’s just say I decided we would not be buying it again. I even feel bad for getting a free one because it would be wasted.

we tried it with the last free coupon. Didnt tell our 15, 14, 11 or 10 year old kids what it was. Cooked it for chicken fajitas an no one said anything. Ate it up, an two of them are picky eaters. Season it an it cooks just like chicken. We are big meat eaters, and we dont go out of the way to even pretend to be healthy, but for free, the taste was just fine. Couldnt tell a difference.
I think it depends how you cook good! 🙂

neat foods-We have a new local company making something similar to this but it has GREAT reviews! My dad was fooled when my mom made tacos, if you can fool my dad, you have done well! I know it is in Wegmans and I believe Whole Foods, and several other chains and they also sold it on QVC and online. Gluten, soy, GMO free!
