Love the shampoo and condition. If you have the Allure July 2014 magazine in between page 24 and 25 they is a coupon $6.00 off any 13.5 Nexxus conditioner or any size treatment Excludes travel and trail sizes. Now if I only had one more.

    • Denise

I wouldn’t get points if I used coupon, correct??

      • Heather C

no….you can use a coupon….you just can’t use your EXISTING points to pay for an item that will give you points. In other words, you can’t “roll” your points.

    • Erin

There are other magazines with that coupon, too. I got a sweet deal at Target combining it with Cartwheel and the kids’ Suave gift card deal week before last!

    • Meryl

TY I did not know Allure also had it. I found 3- In Style, Elle and Glamour. Too bad I already used 2 of them.

      • Cat

Neither my Elle nor Glamour had the q. 🙁

  2. Murica

Is this deal for online? If so, do you get points for buying online?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You can score the 5,000 points for each qualifying Nexxus product purchased in-store AND online. PLUS, online only, you can get an additional 10,000 points when you spend at least $50 on qualifying items online. Hope that helps!!

  3. sara

Can you use points earned from this order on another nexxus order and get more points back?

    • Shel

No. When you pay with points, you can’t earn new points.

  4. Megann

There was a $5 off coupon with the walmart sample that came about 2 weeks ago too.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome! Thanks for the tip!

  5. Cat

How do you get the extra 10,000 online? I have the products added but only see that I’m getting 35,000.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, 35,000 is correct. So if you are doing a similar scenario to the one in this post, you are purchasing 5 Nexxus products (with each one giving you 5,000 points), which means you are getting a total of 25,000 points AND then an additional 10,000 points for spending $50+ for a total of 35,000. Does that make sense?

      • Cat

        Yes! I’m slow today.

  6. AnJo

So I could buy 1 nexxus shampoo for 9.49, then use the 5.00 off coupon.. Making it 4.49 & get 5.00 back?? Which is free.. If I chose to just buy 1, that is. Sorry I’m new to this.

    • AnJo

      I meant conditioner.

  7. Cat

    Do Wags points expire? TIA!

    • Marcia

The expire 3 years after earning or after 6 months of not using your balance reward card…

      • Lynn

        Thx!

  8. Whitney

It’s even better! 30,000 points = $35 reward and the remaining 5,000=$5 reward, so $40 worth of points back! That makes each item only $2.75.

    • Lynn

      Nice!!!

  9. gominam895

    wouldnt it be better to wait until 7/27 and buy 3 at 9.49 = $28.47 get back $5 for buying more than $25 and $15 more for buying 3 , so 28.47 – $20 in points = $8.47/3 = $2.82 each

  10. brandice

So much money up front though

  11. Kelly

This is a little off topic, but what does everyone do with their points? Wondering how to get the most out of using them. Thanks!

    • Lora

I use mine a lot of times to purchase items I need at that time sometimes milk etc and sometimes if they have nice items with register rewards I use the points for those 🙂

    • Lynn

I heard someone say they save them up for Black Friday deals. I’ve never shopped Walgreens on BF, but thought that sounded like a good idea!

    • a friend

Purchasing electronics is a good way to use points. Walgreens sells wireless printers, ink catridges, memory cards, no-contract smartphones, car chargers, batteries, and small home appliances. Some of these things may not be the highest quality, but if they’re free after using points and last about a year or so, it’s not a bad deal until you can afford something better. 🙂

  12. brandice

    So much money up front.though

  13. Nat

can you use points earned on printed digital pictures?

  14. Cindy

So if I had 10,000 points already (from the razor and shaving cream deal last week), and just did this deal and received the 35,000 points, I’ll have 45,000, so is that 50.00 for the 40,000 and another 5 for the 5,000?

    • Addy

You would not get back points for qualifying items if you use points to buy the item.

  15. seana

July’s Real Simple has the 6$ off coupon too.

  16. caprica

FYI the cosmetic section of my store had a ton of coupons they were handing out and one of them was a $3/1 Nexxus product 😉 so you may want to check with they cashier and see if they have any behind the counter before you shop….you never know!!

  17. Roxy

This also qualifies for the Get 50 Points for Every Dollar Spent on Beauty and Personal Care products. So on Collin’s deal above, you would receive another 2650 in points. You have to sign up for that deal online with your Balance Rewards card if you haven’t already.
